You can assist in gathering genealogy, and work in the temples for the dead. 1957-08-07 Thou shalt see the hand of the Lord manifest in your behalf, that you may become a Savior unto your dear ones who have gone into the life beyond. You will have the opportunity of entering the House of the Lord with your husband to perform this labor of love which will bring joy and satisfaction into your life. 1996-02-11 You will be able to help people to receive their holy endowments. 1997-05-04 The day will come when you will be invited into the Holy Temple of the Lord to receive your Endowment preparatory to serving a Mission. 1997-07-13 You have had many ancestors on this earth who came and died before the gospel was taught. The were true and faithful to those things they knew and understood. For that reason they have been taught and accepted the gospel, and now they wait for someone to place their names at the altars of the temple where their work can be done that they can be released to go forward seeking their own salvation. Be their savior; do that work. 1997-09-01 Also, Sister Scott, in the years ahead you are to learn how to do genealogical research so that you will be able to do the sacred Temple ordinances for your parents and for the other members of your greater family who are waiting in the hereafter for someone on earth who has faith and the obedience to do the work for them in the Temple that they were not able to do for themselves because they died before the Church was restored to the earth. 1997-11-16 I bless you with the spirit of Elijah. For the time will come when you will have the opportunity to enter His Holy House and therein do vicarious work for the dead; for your progenitors who await the work to be done. And the way and means at that point of time in your life shall be opened unto you. Remember to bless those who have preceded you that still need your assistance and labors. Great will be your joy, as well as for them, that you will receive for this work. 2000-12-17 Your ancestors were faithful and upright and God fearing people. Yes, many of your kindred dead look to you for help, that you might perform those necessary ordinances and services that will allow them to move onward to their glory. So think carefully upon this. 2001-04-26 I bless you with the understanding that you have a responsibility to your loved ones who have passed on before you in this life. It is necessary for you to do their temple work that they may have the blessings of membership in God's Kingdom and be brought into the light of the gospel. Do this and you will have fulfilled your responsibilities to them and you will be able to mingle with them as you pass to the other side without having any regrets for having failed them. They are presently in darkness. They need the light of the Gospel for them to participate in His Plan of Exaltation. 2001-05-27 The day will come when you will receive the blessings of the temple. You will come to a greater understanding of these ordinances and covenants as you study and follow the principles of the Gospel. 2001-06-09 My dear *****, the Temple will be a place of great comfort for you, your husband and your family. You will find joy and satisfaction in doing the work for the dead in the Temple and in doing ancestral work in order that all members of your family may have the opportunity to receive the life saving ordinances that you will receive. The Temple will be a place of great importance and a place where your innermost prayers may be offered and answers received. 2001-06-10 You will return many times to the temple and there do an unselfish work for those who have gone on before. 2001-07-29 You have a responsibility to do family history work so that your ancestors will be provided with temple ordinances because of your efforts. 2001-08-12 I bless you that you and your husband will return often to the temple, that it will be a special place for you, that you will research your family history and bring to those sacred altars the names of those ancestors who have gone on before so that through the sacred ordinances that can only be performed on the earth, they will be released from darkness into light. 2001-09-15 You will be able to serve as a proxy for those sisters who have passed on who never had the experience of knowing the gospel or having received the ordinances that are necessary for them to be able to have eternal life. This is a great and sacred work and you will be privileged to serve as a proxy for those sisters who have need of having this very important work done for them. You will not only receive joy, but will feel of their spirit from time to time, and you will have the blessing of the Spirit of your Father in Heaven and elder brother Jesus Christ, in being there with you. There will be times when you will be able to sit in the Celestial Room in one of the temples and receive answers to the problems that may be before you. Many times, you will find being in the House of the Lord will bring you closer to those eternal blessings than anything you may do. 2002-02-08 You will be blessed as you attend the temple on a regular basis to do the work for your kindred dead and to receive the spiritual growth and comfort that is there. 2002-04-14 You have been blessed to have gone through the temple of the Lord and there sealed for time and eternity. 2002-08-25 The temple will be a special place in your life, Brother *****. You will have to work to visit the temple. Nevertheless, as you visit, your heart will be turned to your ancestors and your desire to understand the contributions that your ancestors made in the communities where they lived will become important. You will find as you search out your ancestors that there will be many special experiences wherein records will be made known to you and information made known to you that was seemingly hidden or difficult to find. You will bear testimony of the influence of your ancestors in your own life in doing this work. You should know that they are looking out for your well-being and anxious for you to do this work. 2002-12-18 When things are troubling you and you cannot receive answers through your prayers at home, go to the Temple and pray. You can feel a closeness to Heavenly Father there and quite often you can get the answers you need. 2003-05-08 Return often to the temple. You will gain an understanding and appreciation of the meaning and symbolism of those ceremonies and covenants. Faithfully and properly wear your temple garments at all times for they will surely be a shield and a protection to you, both spiritually and physically and will constantly remind you of your covenants and of the wonderful blessings that will come to you through faithfulness. 2003-05-11 As you mature, you will need to be involved in the work performed in the Temple. It will be your responsibility to provide a way for those who lived before you to participate in the sacred ordinances of the Gospel that are performed within the Temple. 2003-10-12 The Lord will bless and help you with the opportunity of doing work to redeem the dead, to go into the House of the Lord not only for your own endowments, but to do the work for those who are waiting on the other side of the veil. You will find one of the greatest experiences you can have is to be in the House of The Lord to kneel as a proxy for someone who is waiting for their work to be done. 2003-11-17 Remember that you can get closer to your Father in Heaven in the temple than in any other place. Always go there worthily and always be worthy to carry a temple recommend. 2004-08-01 You are called upon to participate in the redemption of mankind even as you enter into the Holy Temple and there participate in the great and marvelous work for those who have died without an opportunity to participate in those everlasting covenants 2005-02-13 The temple will help you in knowing the things of God. You will be called to serve in the house of the Lord. 2005-04-24 You have many ancestors who have gone ahead without the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is upon you to gather the necessary information throughout your life. Take this to the Holy House of the Lord, the Temple, and have the ordinances done for them which they cannot do themselves. The promise is that those of your ancestors who have accepted the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the hereafter shall kneel before you, praise you and bless you, for you shall be as a saviour on Mount Zion to them. Do this and joy, happiness and contentment shall be yours throughout your life. 2005-11-13 You will have the opportunity to perform Priesthood ordinances sealing. 2005-12-18 You will bring the gospel to your ancestors by having ordinances performed for them in the temple. 2006-04-23 You will have the opportunity of serving in the temple often and helping others receive their temple ordinances. 2006-08-27 You will have the privilege of going into the temple, for the temple will become very special to you, and you will make the temple the focal point of your life. You will do a great work there, not only for the living but for your kindred dead. 2006-09-15 Remember the temple to go there often to be close to your Heavenly Father. This is the University of Eternity, and the truths you learn there will be of more importance than any thing else you learn. 2006-09-17 I bless you to be faithful in your family history research and in temple attendance. 2007 I bless you to enjoy your visit to the temple and to be surrounded with family and friends as you attend; especially on your first visit. I bless you to feel the love of the Savior there. You will find solitude and comfort in the Celestial room. You will discover hidden knowledge and treasures about your family. You will take names to the temple with this knowledge. 2008-01-27 *****, one of the imperatives of your life is for you to assist your ancestors who lived when the gospel was not available to them to receive every ordinance and covenant required for their return to Heavenly Father's presence. Go to the temple often to serve as their proxy and feast upon the spirit you will experience there. 2008-04-20 Search out your ancestors, and see that that work is done for them in the temple. 2008-06-08 You will have opportunities of serving in the temple, of doing work for those who didn't have that privilege in mortality. 2010-02-14 Go to the temple often. It is the House of the Lord where you can find complete peace. Great inspiration will then flow unto you so that you will be able to understand how important you are to your Heavenly Father and to your eternal family. The work that you accomplish there for others will give you added strength, and the day will come when these individuals will be able to thank you for the time and effort that you have put forth on their behalf. 2010-02-21 Always be worthy to hold, and to treasure, and to use a temple recommend. 2010-03-28 Israel will be encouraged to build temples where they may provide for themselves and their forefathers the necessary ordinances to gain exaltation. Attend the temple and prepare the blessings for those who are waiting for these things to be done. You will be able, on occasion, to feel of the spirits of those who have anxiously waited for such a long time. 2010-05-30 The time will come that you shall spend many days in the service of your deceased ancestors. You shall provide the ordinances of salvation and exaltation for many of your ancestors. In so doing, you shall become a savior upon Mount Zion, doing for your ancestors that which they had not opportunity in mortality. For this sacred service you shall be imbued with the very characteristics and qualities of the Savior himself. 2011-03-20 I bless you to attend the Temple to receive ordinances and to take covenants with Heavenly Father. You will enjoy the Temple and understand the ceremonies and their effect on your life. You will enjoy being in the Temple enough to return often to work for others, to complete family histories, and to do sealings for family and friends. 2011-06-26 You will have opportunities to provide essential ordinances in the temple for many who have already passed on who did not have the opportunity to receive their ordinances while they were in mortality. 2012-09-23 As time allows, return often to the temple of the Lord that you may talk to your Heavenly Father and your Savior within the walls of the temple. This will be a great blessing to you. You will receive counsel and inspiration in the temple. As difficult times come to your children and as trials continue to be in your life, it is in the temple you will receive the necessary inspiration to move forward and to meet those challenges with courage and with the spirit of your Heavenly Father. There will be those whose names you will take to the temple who will be greatly appreciative of the work you will do for them. In this great work you will be inspired. 2013-04-07 Return to the temple as often as possible and complete that sacred work for family members and others who have passed on. Many will call you blessed for giving them the opportunity to become members of the church. Doing that sacred work is part of your responsibility for the gathering of Israel. Use your temple recommend frequently and keep it up to date. 2014-01-14 As you attend the temple often and do work for other people, members of your family and of even those who you have not remembered from the spirit world, it will be a great source of joy for you and you will attend to this work in a very happy and desirous manner. 2014-10-26 I bless you that you would be mindful of regular temple attendance. Regular temple attendance will bring much happiness and peace and comfort to you and your family. It is through regular temple attendance that you will have a greater understanding of laws and ordinances of the gospel of Jesus Christ. You will be properly instructed, and you will make covenants to those laws and ordinances of the gospel of Jesus Christ, of which will bring the choicest of blessings to you in your life. 2015-01-25 One of your great opportunities in this life will be to go to the Temple and answer the call of many of your relatives and others who wait beyond the veil, who call to you for help to be released so they can move forward and progress in the path of salvation. Answer that call, go to the Temple, do the work for them that they cannot do for themselves. As you meet them one day beyond the veil, they will greet you with great tears and thanksgiving for the blessing of happiness, joy, and eternal family that you brought into their lives. 2015-04-28 Within the walls of the temple, your mission is to labor in the field of genealogy and reconnect your family members and join them as eternal families to be sealed for all eternity. 2015-11-29 Temple work will become an important responsibility and blessing for you. 2016-04-24 I bless you to look forward to attendance at the temple of God. 2017-09-10 You will have opportunities to go to the temple and to do vicarious works in the temple for your ancestors. 2018-10-14 In time, the spirit of Elijah will stir within your soul, and you will have desires to participate in family history and the great work of redeeming the dead. As you serve within the temples of God, you will have deep spiritual insights. You will grow in your understanding of Heavenly Father's great plan of happiness for His children. Within the temple, you will find peace and answers to questions that you have, and you will have the capacity to go forward with a righteous confidence and accomplish all that Heavenly Father has planned for you here in mortality. 2019-05-05 You will relish the spirituality of the temple as you enter and silently contemplate the significance of covenants and of your service there. 2020-01-05 In the temple you will be given much knowledge. You have a responsibility to your ancestors and to others who have gone before you that did not have the gospel. You may do for them what they were unable to do for themselves while here upon the earth. 2022-09-25 Be in the temple often. The Lord will speak to you there. He will come in those quiet and sacred settings. Prayers will be answered. Ancestors will be blessed because of the work you will do. 2023-11-12 You will be drawn to the temple throughout your life. You will return to the temple often. You will receive the promises and blessings that come from serving and worshiping in the house of the Lord. You will serve in the house of the Lord for many years. As you walk the halls of the temple, you will feel the presence of our Savior Jesus Christ. You will ponder upon the representations of the Savior throughout the temple and especially you will be touched by the veil of the temple representing Him through which you will symbolically enter into the presence of God. These representations will have great impressions upon you. You will study, ponder and receive tremendous revelation. 2024-12-13 I bless you to make the temple a symbol of your faith, to go to the temple and perform the saving ordinances in the temple for and in behalf of those who have gone before you. I promise you that in the temple rich spiritual blessings will come to you. It is in the temple that the veil between heaven and earth is at its very thinnest. I bless you with a fulness of joy as you do the work for your ancestors, those who have prepared a way for you to be here today. I promise you that you will be able to feel of their joy and feel their love for you, that by so doing you have become a savior on Mount Zion to them to do for them what they cannot do for themselves. So I bless you to reverence those special feelings and those special experiences that will bless their lives. Blessing #23 You will be active in genealogy and will seek out your ancestors. The majority of this work will be accepted by them. You will do endowments, baptisms, initiatory and sealing work in the temple. You will be a temple worker and receive many important callings in the temple. Blessing #25 I bless you with the desire to seek out your progenitors, those who have gone on, who have not had the opportunity to hear the Gospel, but through your efforts, you will find sufficient information so that their work can be done in the temples, and they, too, can enjoy the blessings of the Gospel. Blessing #94 You will be blessed with the opportunity of attending the temple and making special covenants with your Father in Heaven. Blessing #413 I bless you as you enter the Temple, that you will feel the presence of your Saviour, Jesus Christ. I bless you that you will have the opportunity to perform temple work for your ancestors that have passed and that as you do their work you will be drawn closer to them. I bless you that you will find peace and joy as you spend time in the temple.
