The labors that you have already performed are accepted of your Heavenly Father and when your mission is finished on this Earth you will have a grand reception on the other side, and there you will rejoice with your Father and Mother, Husband and Children who are now associated with the noblest spirits that ever came to this Earth. 1917-03-19 God will grant thee a lengthy life to assist thy worthy husband, family, friends and kindred to go on with the great work of redemption for thy father's house and kindred, so well under headway now. O what a privilege for thou art a savior unto thy kith and kin. 1918-03-05 Thou shalt also take advantage of thy opportunities to further the work of thy father in the earth in behalf of thy kindred dead, for much depends upon thee concerning these labors. 1920-07-02 The doors of the house of the Lord shall be opened unto you and you shall be a savioress in your father's house. 1924-01-27 I seal upon you the blessings of the new and everlasting covenant, yea, of the Temples of the Lord, with all the privileges pertaining there unto. 1926-11-22 As you have opportunity, work in the temple. 1929-02-04 Through thy faithfulness thou shalt be blessed with the privilege of laboring in the temples of God for the redemption of the dead and to enjoy the holy spirit. 1932-07-22 You will receive information that will be great value unto you in working to redeem your father's house, your progenitors, and there shall come to you privileges that will be of vital importance in working as a Savior upon Mount Zion. 1934-05-15 It is thy privilege to continue thy labors in the temples of the Lord, for the redemption of the dead, and there shall be great rejoicing behind the veil on account of thy labors, for there are many waiting to receive their blessings. 1936-06-23 It shall be thy privilege to serve the Lord in His holy house for the redemption of your kindred, for there are many whose names have not been discovered who are anxiously waiting to be liberated from the bondage under which they suffer. Therefore, take every advantage of every opportunity by seeking out your progenitors and serving them in the temples of the Lord. 1939-05-14 Thou shall work in the temples of the Lord for thine ancestors as well as for thyself. Thou Shalt be a Savior upon Mt. Zion. 1939-06-28 I bless you with the spirit of temple work that as opportunities shall come that you may take your place as a Savior upon Mt. Zion, that you may stand blameless before the Lord in behalf of your kindred dead and when the Lord shall come in His glory. 1940-04-15 Remember your relatives and friends that are passed away without the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Go to the House of the Lord and fulfill your own duty in the Temple of the Lord and so do the work for your dead relatives and friends because they had not the privilege you had. If you do this you will set them free and they will bless you and you will feel happy and rejoice in the Master's cause. 1941-08-03 Thou shalt also have the opportunity, time and means to do great work for the salvation of the dead. 1943-05-02 I seal you up as a saviour upon Mount Zion that you will not only do work for the living, but for the dead and rejoice with them in their salvation. 1944-06-01 You have a work to do for those ancestors in the way of searching out genealogy and assisting in the work which can be done for them in the temples of our Lord. 1947-11-26 Thou shalt be a savior upon Mt. Zion and shall rejoice in the opportunities of working for both the living and the dead. 1952-06-12 You have work to do for many of your kindred in the House of the Lord. When you go and do the Temple work for them you become a saviour upon Mt. Zion. 1952-06-12 You will have a work to do in the Temple. Go to the Temple often. 1954-10-10 Your work in the temples of the Lord will be great indeed and great joy and satisfaction will come to you in that noble work. 1954-10-10 You will be an angel of mercy in your father's household among your kindred ancestors in the temples of the Lord. And you will feel that sweet influence in those holy houses inasmuch as you will be giving the privileges of the Gospel unto those who look to you. If the veil were withdrawn you would see those who love you and pray earnestly and intercede with the Lord in your behalf. And they are thankful that one of their number such as you has accepted the Gospel. 1956-12-24 Seek the blessings of the House of the Lord, working for the living and for the dead. When the opportunity comes that you may be able to attend the temple, you will receive the greatest blessing which the Lord has for man on this earth. There is a work to do in your family. You can assist in gathering genealogy, and work in the temples for the dead. 1957-08-07 Thou shalt see the hand of the Lord manifest in your behalf, that you may become a Savior unto your dear ones who have gone into the life beyond. Seek our Father in Heaven diligently for His guidance and He will give you great joy in this work. 1957-11-29 You shall be called to the Temple to labor as an ordinance worker. 1959-08-08 There is a numerous host of those who are of your kindred who are yet waiting for_their blessings of the priesthood, for their opportunity to leave the prison house and to go on in their progression. You can seek out their names, you can go into the House of the Lord and there labor for them, and as you gather with them they shall greet you with open arms and it shall be a joyous family reunion. 1964-04-16 Continue serving your Heavenly Father in His Holy House. Your efforts will be crowned with joy and satisfaction. He will be at your side and direct you in obtaining the information you are yet seeking in order to accomplish the ends you are pursuing. You will be able to unite the various family groups and have the pleasure and the satisfaction of having them sealed unto each other. When the time comes that your Heavenly Father shall call you back into His presence, great will be your joy in the reunion with your loved ones. 1967-09-26 Thou shalt be a savior upon Mount Zion. Many shall bless thee for thy efforts in their behalf. Thou hast come forth in this a choice generation, under special circumstances, to enable thee to be a saving power unto thy kindred and thine ancestors. 1969-05-01 I bless you that you may seek after your ancestry and have the family links joined together and be able to take your place in God's Holy family. 1971-09-18 Neglect not your responsibility to your loved ones that have passed on. Thou shalt have opportunities, through thy faith and prayers, to accomplish a good work on their behalf. 1972-09-05 Remember the commandment the Lord has given us concerning Temple work. Only by obedience to that commandment concerning marriage will you be able to enjoy the same family association in the hereafter that you enjoy in this life. 1973-02-03 You will be able to accomplish much good in the House of the Lord if you are faithful. For the time will come when you will be allowed the privilege to enter into the holy House of the Lord to work and labour for the dead. 1973-12-09 I bless you that you may carry your temple recommend with you at all times; that you may be proud of the blessing which is your, the blessing of that holy house. 1974-10-27 There are many on the other side of the veil who are waiting for the assistance which you will be able to give in their behalf. You will be able to bring much happiness to them by the work which you will accomplish. 1976-08-22 Many of your ancestors are now prepared to have the work done for them in the temple. They have heard the gospel and are ready to accept these things. 1978-07-05 Go into the Temple often that these ordinances might be accomplished. 1979-07-03 I would encourage you to participate fully and as often as you are able, in the ordinance work in the temple, because that will bring you joy and peace and happiness. 1982-01-28 I bless you with the spirit of Elijah and that you will have a great desire to go to the temple often and do vicariously that important work wherein the spirits who have departed this life may receive the sacred ordinances necessary for their progress in the spirit world and for their preparation to come forth in the resurrection of the just. You will have great joy and satisfaction in this labor and the privilege of receiving communication from the unseen world as you devote yourself to this important work. 1983-06-26 Now I seal upon you, in accordance with your prayers, the rights to the privileges of the House of the lord and to there do work for those who have gone before and have not received of these privileges. You will have this opportunity and labor therein and rejoice in the privileges that are yours. 1989-02-14 Thou shalt be as a savior upon Mount Zion. Many shall bless thee for thine efforts in their behalf. 1992-02-15 You shall do a sacred work for the salvation of the dead and enjoy the privilege of working in the temple. 1992-11-01 Go to the temple often where you will renew in your mind the covenants that are made there. Always be true to the covenants you make in life. You will be sanctified through regular temple worship and fortified against the influences of the world around you. 1993-09-19 You will be privileged to labor for the perfection of the saints and for the redemption of the dead. 1995-02-11 One of the great blessings that will come to you will be that of going to the Temple of the Lord. 1995-08-06 As you serve in the temples it shall become unto you a house of prayer, a house of learning and house revelation. As you serve there you will be blessing the eternal lives of those who look to us here for blessings they cannot obtain for themselves. 1996-01-21 Make the Temple an important part of your life, in your youth as well as in your adult years. You will be fortified against the influences of the world and sanctified through regular Temple worship. Prayers will be answered and concerns of life lessened. You will appreciate the closeness between this life and the spirit world and understand more fully the importance of the genealogical work that must be done. 1996-02-11 There is a work for you to do in gathering names of loved ones for whom the sacred ordinances of exaltation must be performed. As you serve in this redemptive labor, the Lord will bless you, and you will feel the presence of those on the other side of the veil who will aid and protect you. You will have the opportunity of entering the House of the Lord with your husband to perform this labor of love which will bring joy and satisfaction into your life. 1996-02-11 You will be able to help people to receive their holy endowments. 1997-05-04 The day will come when you will be invited into the Holy Temple of the Lord to receive your Endowment preparatory to serving a Mission. 1997-07-13 You have had many ancestors on this earth who came and died before the gospel was taught. The were true and faithful to those things they knew and understood. For that reason they have been taught and accepted the gospel, and now they wait for someone to place their names at the altars of the temple where their work can be done that they can be released to go forward seeking their own salvation. Be their savior; do that work. 1997-08-31 Through your work in the Gospel you will walk in sacred places and perform sacred ordinances that will bless the lives of many people. 1997-09-01 Also, Sister Scott, in the years ahead you are to learn how to do genealogical research so that you will be able to do the sacred Temple ordinances for your parents and for the other members of your greater family who are waiting in the hereafter for someone on earth who has faith and the obedience to do the work for them in the Temple that they were not able to do for themselves because they died before the Church was restored to the earth. 1997-10-26 From time to time go to the temples and do the work in behalf of your progenitors. Your eyes shall be opened, and you shall see. Your ears shall be opened, and you shall hear the voices of many of those for whom you are being of service. There will come a time, dear brother, when you will spend a great deal of your time in the holy temples of the Lord. 1997-11-16 I bless you with the spirit of Elijah. For the time will come when you will have the opportunity to enter His Holy House and therein do vicarious work for the dead; for your progenitors who await the work to be done. And the way and means at that point of time in your life shall be opened unto you. And many at the last day will call you blessed for having the Spirit of the Lord poured upon you that you might be a savior unto many who passed this mortal life. 1998-05-14 I bless you with the spirit of Elijah. Remember to bless those who have preceded you that still need your assistance and labors. This is one of the greatest responsibilities placed upon this generation, which is, to seek after their dead. 1999-06-06 I bless you that you will work in the temple, when the time is right for you to do so. You will help many people to go through the temple and help them to do the work and you will do the work for many of them. It may very well be in the temple which will be built in Missouri. 1999-10-31 You will have the privilege of entering the House of the Lord. There through the Holy Endowment you will make covenants and promises which will remain with you throughout all eternity. 1999-11-06 The peace, love, reverence, beauty, joy and hope found in the temple worship experience will accompany you in the thoughts, decisions and affairs of your life. Attend the temples of the Lord often and you will become an even better person. 2000-01-24 For those who have left this life I bless you that you will be able to go to the temple and perform ordinances in their behalf that they are unable to do for themselves. Great will be your joy, as well as for them, that you will receive for this work. 2000-01-30 I bless you to do the Temple work for your ancestors and help them receive the same blessings that you will receive here on earth during your lifetime. 2000-02-02 Through your service here on earth you will be able to bless your ancestors through completing their temple work. 2000-12-17 Your ancestors were faithful and upright and God fearing people. Yes, many of your kindred dead look to you for help, that you might perform those necessary ordinances and services that will allow them to move onward to their glory. So think carefully upon this. 2001-06-09 My dear *****, the Temple will be a place of great comfort for you, your husband and your family. You will find joy and satisfaction in doing the work for the dead in the Temple and in doing ancestral work in order that all members of your family may have the opportunity to receive the life saving ordinances that you will receive. The Temple will be a place of great importance and a place where your innermost prayers may be offered and answers received. 2001-06-10 You will return many times to the temple and there do an unselfish work for those who have gone on before. 2001-06-12 You will be blessed to serve both the living and the dead. You will find joy and happiness in that service and as you enter the House of the Lord you will feel the spirit building your testimony as you contemplate what is taught to you. 2001-07-01 You will learn to love the Temple. You will spend many hours and days in your lifetime serving in the Temple and in taking care of ancestral responsibilities and provide ordinances of the Gospel for those departed ancestors. You will derive comfort and inspiration and increased appreciation of the Gospel to a much greater extent through your attendance and service in the House of the Lord. 2001-07-29 You have a responsibility to do family history work so that your ancestors will be provided with temple ordinances because of your efforts. 2001-08-12 I bless you that you and your husband will return often to the temple, that it will be a special place for you, that you will research your family history and bring to those sacred altars the names of those ancestors who have gone on before so that through the sacred ordinances that can only be performed on the earth, they will be released from darkness into light. 2002-02-08 You will be blessed as you attend the temple on a regular basis to do the work for your kindred dead and to receive the spiritual growth and comfort that is there. 2002-02-17 I bless you, too, that you might recall promises made to friends who came to earth before you, that you would seek them out and do the necessary work in the house of the Lord so they might know eternal life and exaltation. 2002-02-24 I bless you with the spirit and desire to return to the House of the Lord often, after you have once been there. In due time you will be an officiator in the temples of the Lord. 2002-04-14 You have been blessed to have gone through the temple of the Lord and there sealed for time and eternity. 2002-08-25 The temple will be a special place in your life, Brother *****. You will have to work to visit the temple. Nevertheless, as you visit, your heart will be turned to your ancestors and your desire to understand the contributions that your ancestors made in the communities where they lived will become important. You will find as you search out your ancestors that there will be many special experiences wherein records will be made known to you and information made known to you that was seemingly hidden or difficult to find. You will bear testimony of the influence of your ancestors in your own life in doing this work. You should know that they are looking out for your well-being and anxious for you to do this work. 2002-12-18 When things are troubling you and you cannot receive answers through your prayers at home, go to the Temple and pray. You can feel a closeness to Heavenly Father there and quite often you can get the answers you need. 2003-05-08 Return often to the temple. You will gain an understanding and appreciation of the meaning and symbolism of those ceremonies and covenants. Faithfully and properly wear your temple garments at all times for they will surely be a shield and a protection to you, both spiritually and physically and will constantly remind you of your covenants and of the wonderful blessings that will come to you through faithfulness. 2003-08-24 Remember those who have not had the opportunity to hear the gospel message who have passed on, even those in your own family, to reach out to them and get caught up in the spirit of Elijah. 2003-10-12 The Lord will bless and help you with the opportunity of doing work to redeem the dead, to go into the House of the Lord not only for your own endowments, but to do the work for those who are waiting on the other side of the veil. You will find one of the greatest experiences you can have is to be in the House of The Lord to kneel as a proxy for someone who is waiting for their work to be done. 2003-11-17 Remember that you can get closer to your Father in Heaven in the temple than in any other place. Always go there worthily and always be worthy to carry a temple recommend. 2004-01-11 You have been privileged to come to earth at this time. A season when Temples of our Lord cover the earth. Temples, wherein - if you are worthy and are true and faithful to your covenants you may glimpse the glories of the eternities. Strive to live worthy to hold a temple recommend always and to regard it as a most precious gift. Go to the house of the Lord often and partake freely of the spirit and the blessings to be had therein. 2004-08-01 You are called upon to participate in the redemption of mankind even as you enter into the Holy Temple and there participate in the great and marvelous work for those who have died without an opportunity to participate in those everlasting covenants 2005-02-13 The temple will help you in knowing the things of God. You will be called to serve in the house of the Lord. 2005-02-19 You are part of the giant army providing saving ordinances in the temples of the Lord. 2005-11-13 You will have the opportunity to perform Priesthood ordinances sealing. 2005-12-18 You will bring the gospel to your ancestors by having ordinances performed for them in the temple. 2006-02-12 You will have the privilege of entering the Holy House of the Lord to be endowed with power from on high and to receive the blessings that come to those who are faithful to the covenants they make within the sacred walls of the temple. 2006-04-23 You will have the opportunity of serving in the temple often and helping others receive their temple ordinances. 2006-09-15 Remember the temple to go there often to be close to your Heavenly Father. You will make covenants there with your Heavenly Father. There is work there for you in providing ordinances for those who preceded you and who are being taught the gospel. Now they desire to have the ordinances performed for them. They look up to you to accomplish that which they cannot do for themselves. 2015-06-28 You can extend that chain of linked generations as you go to the temple for yourself. I bless you that you will have the desire to seek them out and go to the temple often in their behalf, to do that sacred ordinance work for them. Blessing #23 You will be active in genealogy and will seek out your ancestors. The majority of this work will be accepted by them. You will do endowments, baptisms, initiatory and sealing work in the temple. You will be a temple worker and receive many important callings in the temple. Blessing #25 I bless you with the desire to seek out your progenitors, those who have gone on, who have not had the opportunity to hear the Gospel, but through your efforts, you will find sufficient information so that their work can be done in the temples, and they, too, can enjoy the blessings of the Gospel. Blessing #94 You will be blessed with the opportunity of attending the temple and making special covenants with your Father in Heaven. Blessing #74 I bless you with the desire to prepare to go to the Temple to receive your own endowment, but after that to go to the Temple to do vicarious ordinances for those who have died, and you will be received on the other side of the veiled with great happiness and joy and thanks for the things which you have done in their behalf. Blessing #273 Prepare yourself to go to the Temple often, so to receive those blessings that are there. That you might help people within your line and help within your wife's those ancestors that have gone on before so they will be prepared and meet you with open arms as you go across the veil at a later date.
