My dear daughter *****, by the power of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood, and in the name of Jesus Christ, I lay my hands upon your head and pronounce your patriarchal blessing. Your Heavenly Father loves you unconditionally and eternally. You are a treasured daughter of the promise. His plan for you is specific, in that, you will return to Him when your work on the earth is finished; pure and undefiled, to reside with Him and your family in celestial glory. The greatest blessing that the Father can bestow upon His children will be yours as a reward for your making and keeping sacred covenants. The covenants that you make with the Father, and this patriarchal blessing, will guide the choices that you make, and help you to resist temptation.
You are counted among the pure in heart with the blessing to see God. Let the commandments be the guiding principles of your life. If you will observe to do all of His commandments and hearken diligently to His voice, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. You and your family will be established by the Lord as a holy people unto Him as you walk in His ways.
Distinct talents and abilities have been given to you and have set you apart from others. Seek to discover these God given spiritual gifts, use them to glorify Him, and you will feel complete and whole. Things of God are spiritually discerned by the righteous. You are blessed with an acute sensitivity to impressions that will lead you to find good that may be concealed. You will perceive in others, and uncover for them, their better nature. You are blessed to discern the hidden spark that may be lighted for truth and inspire confidence. As you build upon this spiritual gift, you will continue to be educated in its spiritual foundations and be lead to a greater understanding of your divine nature so that you will not be lead astray.
You will be inspired to accomplish many great things from the words spoken by latter day prophets. As you open your heart to the refining influence of the Holy Ghost, a glorious new spiritual understanding will come to light. Seek diligently to commune with God and you will gain the light of gospel truth. His greatest reward goes to those who serve without expectation of reward. You will be given many opportunities to go about doing good and to serve others. You will be directed to your community, wards, stakes, and in your home, where you will minister with faith and humility. Every act of service that you provide will be a step on the path of discipleship and bring you closer to your Heavenly Father. Accept all callings, especially leadership callings, with grace, humility, and gratitude, and the Lord will bless you greatly.
You will labor much in teaching the truths of the everlasting gospel to the Father's children. The Sisters of the Relief Society will be your strength. Sisters will be sent from the Father to mentor and assist you in many ways. You will share with them your feelings and testimony that you could not express to anyone else. It will be your ministry to school the Sisters in many of the fine points of the gospel and unite them in the cause of helping others. Great shall be your joy in this service. A portion of God's love for His children will be given to you. The gifts of a tender and compassionate soul, characteristics of the Master himself, have been given to you. As you continue to magnify this precious gift the Father will add deeper feelings of Godliness to your understanding.
Intelligence is the measure of your ability to make changes in your life through learning and hard work. You have been endowed with this intelligence and are blessed with the ability to relate information to your surroundings. Prayerfully set and work diligently to achieve goals that will help you to justify your life's activities to the will of the Father. You will be blessed progressively through your righteous efforts.
You are numbered among the covenant daughters of Father Abraham and are entitled to the blessings of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You are of the House of Israel through the tribe of Ephraim. This is the chosen lineage spoken of in the scriptures. You are modest and unselfish like Ephraim, yet many important eternal responsibilities have been given to you. It will be your privilege to assist in bringing the message of the restored gospel to the world and raise an ensign to gather scattered Israel back into the covenant family. I bless you with all of the abilities, courage, and confidence necessary to magnify this great work. Center your life in Christ and you will rise above the lies of the adversary. Your life has the promise of great joy, happiness, and heavenly protection. Day after day on your path to your eternal destiny you must increase your faith in God. In your times of need the Father will send angels to bear you up. Humbly seek to serve God, and these blessings and more will be yours.
It will be your privilege to enter the Holy Temple to receive the ordinances of exaltation. The time will come that you will choose a son of the covenant, like unto Isaac of old, to be your eternal companion. You will receive the blessings of the new and everlasting covenant in His holy house. This choice will bring you joy and happiness throughout your life and into the eternities. Blessings of comfort and tranquility shall be yours as you worship in that sacred place along side your eternal companion. Answers to life's difficult questions, visions, and understanding of the eternities will come to you in this holy place. Choice, beautiful children prepared by the Father will be sent to you and your eternal companion. Be prayerful, seek to do those things which are right, and the Lord will give you wisdom in raising your children. Nourish your children with love and kindness, speak in soft voices to them, and enjoy the time that is allotted to you with your family. Challenge your children to learn the principles of salvation. Read and teach the word of God contained in the holy scriptures to your children and they will remain protected from the challenges of life. I bless you with joy and rejoicing in your posterity, sons and daughters.
Serve with an eye single to the glory of God. You and your eternal companion will lead the way in many efforts to serve those who are less fortunate and are in need of encouragement. Through your desire to serve, your eyes will be opened and you will be directed to those whom the Lord would have you help. You will teach eternal truth as you serve. Look for the joy in service and you will find it. Be quick to forgive and you will be forgiven. Enjoy the simple pleasures of this earth through your adherence to the fast and keeping the Sabbath day holy. Daily supplication to the Father, pondering the scriptures, time with your companion and family, attending your meetings, serving in God's way, and attending the temple will bring purpose to your contentment and harmony to your life. Remember that the Lord loves the laborer. Through your faithfulness you will be included among those who have a part in the first resurrection, redeemed by the Lord with eternal life. I seal this patriarchal blessing upon you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
