Sister *****, I place my hands upon thy head and in the name of Jesus Christ I give thee a patriarchal blessing. Thou art young in years, and the blessing shall be a guide in thy life, and in the future in reading thy blessing thou shalt realize that the Lord has made known to thee thy duty and thy calling in the church.
Thou art greatly blessed in receiving the blessings pertaining to the kingdom of God and being permitted to dwell and associate with the saints of the Most High and enjoy the blessings that thou art heir to that has been sealed upon thee through thy parents. Being born in the land of Zion of goodly parents, thou shalt witness the power of the Lord manifest in thy behalf for thou art one of the chosen vessels that the Lord has sent down upon the earth. Thou art of the lineage of Joseph through the loins of Ephraim and are destined to consecrate thy life, thy talents, and thy labors, and all that shall be given thee for the building up of the kingdom of God upon the earth.
Be obedient to thy parents and listen to their teachings and instructions, and as thou grow in years, thou shalt grow strong in faith and in the knowledge of the work of the Lord upon the earth and yet become one of the leaders in the midst of thy sex and to take an active part in the organizations and be a benefactor with thine associates and instruct them to be honest, truthful, and virtuous and live a righteous life. And the spirit of the Lord shall take the lead of thy mind and the principles pertaining to the kingdom of God shall be made known and thou shalt be enabled to overcome the tempter and through thy great faith, thou shalt be healed under the hands of the priesthood, and thy father shall be enabled to pronounce blessings upon thee.
Thou shalt be a companion to thy mother and a blessing to thy father, and they shall have joy in thy life and be permitted to live until thou art arrived to maturity and have the privilege of receiving a son of God given thee under the hands of the holy priesthood for time and all eternity, and to become a mother of sons and daughters who shall bear the priesthood and become mighty men and the daughters be glorious in the sight of God, and surround thy parents and call down the blessings of heaven upon them.
Thy days shall be days of usefulness, and the time will come when thou shalt be permitted to raise thy voice as an ambassador of the Lord Jesus Christ and teach men and women the principles of the gospel, and the visions of thy mind shall be opened and the future unfolded to thy view.
Therefore, be prayerful and listen to the promptings of the holy spirit for Satan shall endeavor to shake thy faith and to lead thee into and by forbidden paths, but thy body shall be strong. And through observing the Words of Wisdom, the destroyer shall pass thee by and not slay thee and thou shalt live to witness the redemption of Zion and the building of the new city, the New Jerusalem, on this continent and witness the united order established and witness many of the weak and the careless and the wicked who shall fall by the wayside and become as stubble and be destroyed.
Thou shalt enjoy the good things of this world. Thou shalt enjoy the sweet companionship of the spirit of the Lord. Thy prayers shall be answered, and thou shalt bless the sick and shall administer to the poor and the needy. Be a blessing in the house of mourning and to comfort those who mourn. Thy name is recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life and shall remain as long as thou art faithful and shall endure to the end of thy days in the work of the Lord and be a companion to thy mother and a blessing in the home.
Through thy faithfulness thou shalt be blessed with the privilege of laboring in the temples of God for the redemption of the dead and to enjoy the holy spirit. Thy bosom shall burn within thee, and thou shalt have joy in the midst of Israel. And through thy faithfulness I seal these blessings upon thee, and I seal thee up unto eternal life. And I seal thee up unto the day of redemption to come forth with a mighty host of Saints, thy relatives, thy parents, and thine husband and thy posterity and enjoy the blessings of the Celestial Kingdom throughout all eternity, in the authority of the holy priesthood and in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
