Dear Sister *****:
According to your desire I bestow upon you a patriarchal blessing and ask our Father in Heaven to grant unto you from this night peace of mind, contentment of soul, increased health, wisdom and understanding that you may study your condition and better know what to do to win your desires and that as impressions come to you you may be so sensitive as to understand them, that you may eat the proper foods, take the needed rest, lay aside worry and distress, put aside gloom and sadness and when united with your husband do the things that will minister to your joy and increased health; and whatever skill, wisdom and judgement together with divine faith is needful, you may so live to act wisely and do all things necessary to contribute to your peace and health; so that as you purify your blood, get a brighter outlook upon life, cheer and gladness may take the place of gloom and despondency; and whatever you do, act wisely and with a united heart.
No matter what may come, remember this counsel, follow carefully the impressions of the Holy Spirit, live near your Maker, make Him your friend and constant companion, and as you live in the light you will be astonished at the spirit of peace that will come to you as your attitude of mind changes to look at the living pictures of life.
Remember that in this life you are passing thru a great school in which are many trying ordeals, tests and examinations that require patience, skill, ripened judgement, alertness of intellect and determination of soul in order to win success and as you are obedient to law and order so will the blessings based thereon follow to bless your life for the Lord has said: I the Lord am bound when ye do what I say, but when ye do not what I say, ye have no promise.
I also bless you as a daughter of Ephraim that as you reach out for the choice blessings of believing blood, so will rich blessings come to you bringing increased joy and gladness, power and influence for good, opportunities to bless and aid others and thus you will minister comfort and encouragement to many by your actions, patience, goodness and loving kindness.
Bring your children close to you by the power of a mother's love. Put responsibility upon them, have them wait upon and care for you and they will be the more readily governed. Teach them willing obedience and govern by love and gentleness and they will take pleasure in doing the right and proper thing. Be one with your companion in all things and when you are united in any particular course of action and you feel clear, it will in the end give you greater joy and if you make mistakes, let wisdom teach you to avoid them and never reproach yourself after you have done your best.
Rise out of affliction and gloom to better health and happiness. Act as an angel of mercy. Make the best of every circumstance. Rejoice in all you do. Extract out of every hour the good and beautiful. Live in the light. Banish darkness and gloom. Bless, inspire and lift up others to a higher level and as you have opportunity, gather genealogy, work in the temple, do all in your power to complete all you came here to do, so that in the end you may come forth in the morning of the first resurrection with all your loved on ones, crowned with glory, power, immortality and eternal life, fully satisfied with the justice of the Lord to you for overcoming the forces of opposition in earth life.
Holy Father be Thou gracious to this Thy daughter, increase her faith, strengthen her body and may the blood carry the streams of life to every afflicted part, healing, cleansing and building up the weakened tissue and cause every organ of her Body to properly function, that pain and discouragement may be banished and joy and hope open the way for a useful and devote life, for unto this end I seal these blessings upon you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.
