*****, in the name of Jesus Christ and by the authority of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood I lay my hands on your head and give you a Patriarchal Blessing. It has been a desire of your heart to receive a blessing from your Heavenly Father to give you guidance and direction in your life. Your Heavenly Father is pleased that you are here this evening accompanied by your parents to receive this blessing.

This blessing comes to you, Sister *****, as a result of your faithfulness, your steadfastness, and your righteous living; not only here on earth but in the pre-mortal world. It was there, as a daughter of your Heavenly Father, that you took the opportunity to sustain and support our Heavenly Father's Plan of Life and Salvation. In so doing you received the opportunity to come upon this earth, take upon yourself a body and prove yourself worthy to return to your Heavenly Father through worthily completing life's experiences.

It was in that pre-mortal world that you stood out as a special child. As a member of your family you demonstrated leadership and great qualities even there prior to coming to this earth. Your brothers and sisters gathered around you, as they will throughout your life here on earth. You will be a beacon of light and truth and testimony to your family and to many others as you go throughout your life.

You have a great mission to perform here on the earth. The spirit of our Heavenly Father will accompany you as you go forward in the decisions that you have to make. There are those that have been assigned to watch over and to protect you and they intercede with our Heavenly Father that you will not falter in carrying out your mission here on earth.

Our Heavenly Father is desirous of you knowing that you are from the lineage of Ephraim, who was the son of Joseph, and as such you have all of the rights and privileges that were given to Father Abraham. What an honor and blessing it is in this life to know that you are of the House of Israel.

Now, blessings are extended to you that as you continue to be valiant and faithful in your testimony you will see opportunities of service throughout your life. You will feel the promptings of the gift of the Holy Ghost in many situations. You will be prompted to seek guidance and direction through prayer. As you prepare your life to go forward, I admonish you to prepare yourself to go to the temple of our Heavenly Father. The Lord would caution you dear sister to be careful in the selection of your eternal mate. Know in your heart that you are being prompted by the Spirit in that decision.

You will have the great opportunity of going to the temple and being sealed to your companion allowing you the opportunity to become a mother in Zion. There are children that wait to come into your home to have you as their mother. You will be blessed with a gift of understanding and love in relationship to your children. Throughout their lives they will seek counsel and direction from you. You will be blessed with a special feeling for your children and will be prompted many times to intercede in their behalf.

You have been blessed With a gift of empathy that will be a mighty blessing to you throughout your life. It will endear friends and associates to you in such a manner that you will be effective in influencing the lives of many people for good.

I bless you with wisdom and good judgement and the ability to counsel. I bless you with the ability to articulate your feelings. I bless you with the ability to write and to influence others through the written word. I bless you with the desire in your heart to have the good influences of the world in your life and in your home, good art, music and literature and those things that your children will cherish and through which they will learn to love their Heavenly Father.

I bless you that if it is the desire of your heart and if circumstances are appropriate you will be able to serve your Heavenly Father on a full time mission. And if it were so that you serve on a mission or you serve the kingdom at home you will be protected and blessed.

I bless you with continued health throughout your life. I bless you Sister ***** that just as you were a beacon of light to your family in the pre-mortal world you will be so throughout your life here on earth. Honor your parents. They love and cherish you. Appreciate their counsel and always be respectful of them.

I bless you with a desire to study the scriptures and to follow the counsel and direction of the prophet here on earth. I bless you with a heart that is willing to set before yourself the example of the Prophets and Apostles and the great sisters that lead, guide and direct the church organizations. I bless you with an understanding of the organization of the church that you might appreciate how to serve and understand the methods and reasons why our Heavenly Father directs His organization the way He does. I bless you that you might see the church move forward to meet its eternal destiny and be caught up in the preparations for the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior, that you might rejoice in the plan of our Heavenly Father as it rolls forth.

I bless you with a desire to be close to your ancestors and look forward to the day that you will be able to associate with them. Through your service here on earth you will be able to bless them through completing their temple work. I bless you to know and understand that you will be part of a great work going forth in the days of the millennium, as the temples of our Lord will be open to our Lord's children in a magnificent way. I bless you, along with your sweet companion, to have the opportunity of carrying forth this work during the millennium.

I also bless you Sister ***** as your parents get older you will have a love and a desire to look after them and to watch out for their welfare in order that they might be taken care of all the days of their lives.

I seal you up against the power of the destroyer. You will have times of great decisions in your life and the Savior will intervene on your behalf and the power of the destroyer will be thwarted and you will know and understand that the Lord has interceded on your behalf.

I seal you up to come forth in the Morning of the First Resurrection clothed in robes of immortality, there to meet your Heavenly Father and to receive of His love and His approval of your life here on earth. As you are true and faithful surely the great blessings of the Celestial Kingdom will be yours.

Again, I bless you to understand that you have a great mission to perform on earth. You will be a mighty influence in the lives of many people in helping them to understand the truthfulness of the gospel. You will help others to come to know that they have the power within themselves to live lives of righteousness and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

These promises and blessings that have been pronounced upon you this evening will surely come to pass, as you are true and faithful. This blessing is sealed upon you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
