Sister ***** it is by the authority of the holy Melchizedek Priesthood that I lay my hands upon your head relying upon the Spirit to make known those things which Heavenly Father would have you receive as your patriarchal blessing. *****, be assured that Heavenly Father knows you and has looked forward to this time when His promises and blessings are revealed to you.
When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, you were counted as a part of his portion, even to be of the House of Israel. You were called before the world was because of your heart, your faithfulness, and obedience. He still requires you to have a humble heart and expects you to continue to exemplify the attributes that were so typical of your character during premortal life. You are to be humble, loyal, obedient, and willing to exercise unwavering faith in the Savior and in His atonement. *****, you are a rightful heir to the blessings, promises, and covenants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob through the loins of Joseph and of Ephraim.
As a daughter of Ephraim, much is expected of you. You have come into mortality during the dispensation of the fullness of times to be added upon and to serve. Never be surprised when callings are extended to you for this is the heritage of Ephraim. You are to serve, lift, and strengthen those around you including members of your own family. You must be careful in your service to always do your very best, for Heavenly Father knows your best, what you are capable of, and expects you to give your best in all you are called to do.
I bless you, *****, to understand that while you were carefully prepared for the assignments and responsibilities you accepted for this second estate, you must still claim those blessings through hard work. To help you, spiritual gifts have been conferred upon you, including the gift of faith, which you are to use in your service. As you humble yourself and set aside your own priorities to serve, you will be taught to use this gift in the accomplishment of the things you are asked to do.
You have been raised as a calf in a stall in a world filled with turmoil, noise, and uncertainty. Appreciate your parents for their efforts to teach you the gospel from your youth. Honor and obey them. Remember that only the humble and obedient will be privileged to eat of the fruit of the land of Zion in the last days. To claim and maintain your heritage as a daughter of Ephraim, you must willingly obey. I bless you in your efforts to encourage and help your parents teach you and your siblings, that you may be a great help and blessing to them without finding your circumstances too confining. Thus you may one day look back and appreciate the blessing and protection that has been yours because of their efforts and persistence.
One of your important responsibilities for this second estate is to assist Heavenly Father by bringing some of His children into mortality to receive strong and healthy physical bodies and to be raised from infancy in light and truth in spite of the world around you. Thus it is imperative that you be strong and never allow anything to occur in your life that would disqualify you from going to the House of the Lord and entering into the new and everlasting covenant of marriage, so your children may be protected by temple covenants from birth. As you maintain those standards, live the gospel, and apply its principles, I promise that you will be led at the appropriate time to one who shares your standards and values and one to whom you may be a helpmate and partner with in fulfilling this important responsibility. Sustain, encourage, and strengthen him in his efforts to provide for your family and to work with you in teaching your children. Support one another in establishing and maintaining within the family personal and family prayer, personal and family scripture study, and family home evenings during which your children may hear and feel your testimonies and may know of your love of the Savior and appreciation for the plan of happiness. As you do this and willingly accept additional responsibility in the family during times when your husband must be absent because of responsibilities outside of the home, I promise you the strength, energy, and will to follow through to accomplish family goals and maintain the practices which you have jointly established so that all will be blessed.
*****, one of the imperatives of your life is for you to assist your ancestors who lived when the gospel was not available to them to receive every ordinance and covenant required for their return to Heavenly Father's presence. Go to the temple often to serve as their proxy and feast upon the spirit you will experience there. You will encounter many trials, difficulties, and hardships throughout life that are not of your own making. At those times, the temple will serve as a refuge to you, for as you serve there the Spirit will strengthen you, give understanding, and perspective so you can pass through your trials and difficulties, seeing them for what they are, opportunities to show Heavenly Father that you are just as faithful and obedient in this second estate as you were in the first. I bless you through the things you will learn in the temple to be able to move through life with purpose and direction.
You have been blessed with a keen mind and spirit. You must work hard to develop your talents and abilities. Don't take schooling lightly or for granted. Challenge and discipline yourself to do your best in all things. Don't limit yourself or allow outside influences to negatively effect your ability to learn, grow, and progress. Sacrifice the time and put forth the effort necessary to excel, and I promise that your power to lighten and brighten the lives of others will be greatly enhanced. Others will look to you and willingly follow because of your positive influence. Place your feet on the path of righteousness and move forward with faith, hope, and purpose. Don't be concerned about what others are doing, but work to become who you really are and who Heavenly Father expects you to become. I promise great personal joy and satisfaction in so doing.
*****, you will be privileged to do your full part for the redemption of Zion here upon the earth and are expected to do all you can to help prepare yourself, your family, and others around you for the return of the Savior. I bless you with physical, mental, and emotional strength and with the courage to do what is right regardless of the apparent consequences. If you act upon the things you know to be right, you will be protected and will be preserved.
I pronounce this blessing upon you, *****, as an ordained patriarch, calling you up to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection among the faithful children of Israel when the Savior returns on the condition of your obedience and endurance to the end, in the sacred name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
