Brother *****: in the name of Jesus Christ and in the authority of the holy priesthood and as an ordained Patriarch in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I lay my hands upon your head and give unto you a patriarchal blessing.

The Lord is mindful of you ***** and your great desire to fulfill your mission in life and to make a success of it. He has endowed you with many Christ-like qualities, the development of which will enable you to excel among your fellowmen and fulfill a marvelous mission and have success throughout your life.

You are blessed with a rich and precious heritage for you are born of the House of Israel and have come through the lineage of Joseph and his son Ephraim. By virtue of this lineage you are entitled to the blessings of the Lord pronounced upon Abraham and those of his descendants who remain faithful throughout their lives. You are blessed with a sound body and mind. I admonish you to use wisdom and preserve your health and strength, to keep yourself clean from the sins of this world and the Lord will bless and endow you with every gift and ability that you need as the challenges arise in connection with the calls you receive to serve in His kingdom.

I also admonish you as you pursue your education that it will be in harmony with your gifts, your talents, the principles of the gospel and thereby you will be successful. This will enable you to make a great contribution to the society in which you live and assist in building the Kingdom of God in these latter days.

You were reserved in the spirit world to come forth in this the dispensation of the fullness of times, when the gospel is upon the earth in its fullness and to perform a special mission. In due time the Lord will lead you to a special handmaiden of His and she will become your eternal companion. Prior to that important event, however, you will be privileged to receive the holy Melchizedek priesthood and be called to be a special ambassador of the Lord Jesus Christ, to spread the gospel among the peoples of the earth. As you prepare spiritually and devote yourself to learning the scriptures, the plan of salvation, the principles of the gospel, you will surely be an effective emissary of righteousness and make eternal companionships. You will be able to change the lives of many people who will cherish your love and friendship, revere your name and call you blessed not only in this life but in the life to come.

Your are living in a trying time in this world's history brother *****, for the Lord has set His hand to gather in Israel from the four corners of the earth, to purge the nations of iniquity, to try the faithful so that He may select His leaders and those who will follow Him into the millennial era. You will be blessed through the gifts that you are given and the priesthood you will bear to administer to the chosen Tribes as they gather to receive their blessings at the hands of Ephraim.

I bless you that you will be able to establish a home founded upon the principles of righteousness, such as love, faith, harmony, sacrifice and all of the virtues needed to make it a proper place where the Lord may safely send His spirits to be reared in this mortal life so that you and your companion may build your eternal family.

I bless you with joy and happiness in your labors and with the fortitude to withstand the efforts of the adversary to lead you astray. Through your faithfulness, he will not have power over you, and you will be able to rebuke him when the occasion requires it. The power of your testimony will influence many to change their lives so that they will live in harmony with the principles of the gospel and the plan of salvation.

You will be blessed to go into the temple of the Lord and there participate with your companion in the new and everlasting covenant of marriage. I bless you with the spirit of Elijah and that you will have a great desire to go to the temple often and do vicariously that important work wherein the spirits who have departed this life may receive the sacred ordinances necessary for their progress in the spirit world and for their preparation to come forth in the resurrection of the just. You will have great joy and satisfaction in this labor and the privilege of receiving communication from the unseen world as you devote yourself to this important work.

I bless you with a numerous and righteous posterity and the ability to take your family into the eternities and there know the joy and happiness of being in the presence of the Father and the Son. I bless you and seal you up to come forth in the resurrection of the just, there to reap the rewards of a good and righteous life and to join your loved ones and friends who are prepared to come forth with you.
