Brother ***** I place my hands upon they head and pronounce unto thee a Patriarchal blessing having been ordained to his high and holy office by Elder Harold B. Lee of the Council of the twelve. This blessing will be an inspiring influence in thy life inasmuch as it is a gift of the Lord unto thee. It will be a directive force and power for good and it will be manifest in thy future days. This will be in mortality and even beyond the veil and many of the problems that arise and many of the questions that arise in thy mind will be clearer to thee from this day forth. Dear brother it is pleasing unto the Lord that as one of His sons you have come out of the world of darkness in to that of light and truth. And you stand on the threshold of greatness in the Kingdom of God. Through thy righteous endeavors there will be manifest in thy life blessings that will bring comfort and joy and happiness and understanding. Even thy health and wisdom and knowledge will be increased and thy days upon the earth will be prolonged according to the will of our heavenly Father for the completion of thy fore-ordained mission here.

In the spirit world before this earth was organized you stood among the faithful and the obedient even those who were in tune and in harmony with the plan of the Savior. And you fought on the side of right and through fore-ordination you were reserved to come forth in this dispensation. And you may know at this time that it is not an accident in your life that you are a member of the Church.

You are through the loins of Ephraim the son of Joseph who was sold into Egypt and you are choice indeed even one of the princes in the Kingdom of God here. You will understand that being descended through the prophets Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that truly you are a noble son of our heavenly Father through righteousness. And that is your blessing as long as you are faithful in all the duties you have to perform for those three great prophets are now gods and sit upon their thrones in exaltation.

Dear Brother I seal your life against the power of the adversary who is aware of your fore-ordained mission and you may know that you do not have to wait until the days of the Millennium to bind the hands of the evil against you. Through your power as an Elder in Israel as you exercise your priesthood in worthiness and in righteousness you have greater power than that of evil for the only power that Satan can bring against you is that of tempting. And only those who permit their lives to become weakened are the ones who are led astray.

Dear Brother you will stand at the head of a numerous posterity and there will be those among your descendants even your posterity who will rise up and call you blessed for the goodness of your life and the blessings you have brought to them. You will be even as a savior upon Mount Zion in your father's household in the gathering of numerous names of your kindred ancestors. Your work in the temples of the Lord will be great indeed and great joy and satisfaction will come to you in that noble work. You will be one who truly will receive the inspiration of heaven in the gathering of your genealogy. In the temples you will receive the inspiration of heavenly messengers between heaven and earth in your behalf.

Sweet is the work that is yours to do but you will have problems in life dear Brother for there are those things that come about to try one but do not be discouraged. Have faith and great determination and through the power of the priesthood and those who preside over you in counsel and advice and through the wisdom that you will receive in prayer and in righteous living you will be a man of intelligence. And you will be able to give even unto others advice and counsel and even that which will direct them. It will be your mission to live in such a way that you will be a dutiful man in the Church and you will set a great example. And as you go unto the unbeliever there will be many who will understand the testimony that you give to them. Your power to explain the Gospel will be great indeed and there will be those who will go down into the waters of baptism through the sweet teachings of the Gospel truths that you will bear to them. There will be those who will stand before you even in such an attitude that they would gnash their teeth at you through the power of evil that influences them. But you will have the power to thwart all the forces that would tend to thwart the work that you can do in the Kingdom of God here.

Dear Brother you will be the means of bringing some who have departed from the truth and are negligent in their lives back onto the path of righteousness. This will be a great and inspiring influence with you. You will be in your home a loving husband and father and even your relatives will see the day when they will love you for the truths that you teach and for the manifest goodness that you show in your life as an example. And they will see the difference. Through the influence of the guardian angels of those who dwell within your home in your family those who come within will feel that sweet influence.

I seal you up to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection of the just and the faithful and to understand and to know that through your faithfulness your name will be recorded in the Church books of the earth and the corresponding books in heaven. And it will be your privilege with understanding to have your mind so enlightened that you will give with a clear vision to others the necessity of having their names recorded in those books that they will not be lost. Through your faithfulness and diligence even through tithes and offerings your name will be written in the holy book of remembrance and the Savior will choose you among His faithful jewels.

In the days of the Millennium you will stand hand-in-hand with your beloved companion and you will be numbered and called among the faithful and the obedient to the principles of the Gospel even among those whom the Savior loves. You will behold His face and hear His voice. You will go on and preach the Gospel to the spirits in prison being numbered with the faithful Elders in that sweet and great work. You will be able to teach and to understand that baptism is an earthly ordinance for water is an earthly substance. And all those who have lived upon the earth and accept the Gospel must be baptized either in mortality or through proxy.

Peace be in thy life dear Brother. And the promise unto thee is that in the due time of the Lord through your progression you will be able to go on in eternal progression and be exalted and crowned as one of the noble sons of our heavenly Father in the highest degree of the celestial kingdom.

The problems in your financial life will be such that through your obedience to the laws and the ordinances of the Gospel and through wisdom and discernment you will be able to see that your family has the necessities of life and even in a physical and a mental and a spiritual way. And this blessing will be given to you in such a way that you will be able to bear testimony of it unto many even behind the pulpits of this Church. This blessing is given through the inspiration and vision of the Patriarchal office into thy individual life. It is recorded and ratified by the angels of heaven who rejoice over you and your testimony. Read it often in your life and it is sacred unto thee. And there will be peace with you constantly as you do those things that the Savior has called you to do through His servants here upon the earth. This is in the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
