Brother Gibson Condie in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by authority of the holy priesthood in me vested, I seal and confirm upon you a patriarchal blessing, for thou art of the blood of Ephraim and thou art entitled to all the blessings of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and also of the house of Ephraim, and no power on earth nor in hell will ever be able to overthrow thee, and this because of the covenants of your forefathers, and also because thou art a descendant of Shem. The descendants of Shem are God's chosen people. And sure word of prophecy thou hast made thy calling sure. Thou shall live to be very old, and shall live to see the temple built in Jackson County, and shalt rejoice therein in conversation with thy brethren, and there shalt thy posterity gather around thee, and shall be numbered by the millions, and in their midst thou shalt be exalted to a throne. Thou shalt wield a scepter in thy own house, and thou shalt accomplish a work for thy forefathers, which shall bring them forth in the morning of the first resurrection, and thou shalt bring them up to inherit the same glory. Thy fathers are anxiously waiting for thee, and ere long many of them will visit thee and they shall make known to you their whereabouts and also their ages and their forefathers. All these blessings I seal upon you, and also seal you up unto eternal lives, to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection to inherit thrones and kingdoms, principalities and powers in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen.
