Dear Sister Elsie, I lay my hands upon your head in the name of Jesus Christ, and according to your faith and the desires of your heart, confer upon you a patriarchal blessing. Your Father in Heaven is well pleased with you for the purity of your mind. You are one of those noble spirits that came here upon the earth to do a great work in helping to redeem the sons and daughters of Adam and you shall enjoy every blessing that is promised to your sex.

You are entitled to all the blessings of Father Abraham, and as you increase in years you shall increase in knowledge, and the spirit of inspiration and revelation shall rest upon you. You shall have dreams and visions and eventually you will be a great prophetess and you shall have the discerning of spirits that you shall never be deceived by wicked men. The Lord has great respect for you because of the respect and the honor you show to your parents.

You shall fill many responsible positions among your sisters, and on account of your purity and the confidence that they have in you, many shall seek thee for counsel. When it is time, you shall seek unto the Lord for a companion and He will give you a man of God that will bless you through time and through all eternity. Your posterity shall be very great and become bright as the stars of heaven, and your name shall be handed down in honor to future generations. You shall be blessed with an abundance of the world's goods. You shall never want for bread for your posterity. Your Guardian Angel will always be with you to warn you of approaching dangers. You will yet return to the center stake of Zion, and you will do much work in the temples for the living and the dead. You will be called to teach many of the daughters of Jacob the principles of the everlasting Gospel.

Your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. You shall come forth in the morning of the First Resurrection, and your Guardian Angel that came to accompany you through this probation will never forsake you.

Now, dear sister, be prayerful and listen to the spirit that will be with you continually and you will understand the mind and will of the Lord. You shall be a great honor to your parents, and you shall live on the earth as long as you desire life. You shall behold the face of the Savior and many of the Holy Ones that are associated with Him.

You are of the lineage of Joseph through the loins of Ephraim.

You shall have power to rebuke diseases and the influence of evil spirits from your habitation and from your offspring.

Now be faithful, dear sister, and carry out the counsel of your parents and those that are set to counsel you in the Holy Priesthood, and every blessing which I have pronounced upon you shall be fulfilled and I seal them upon you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
