Sister *****, in the name of Jesus Christ, and by the power and authority of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood which has been conferred upon me, I lay my hands upon your head as an ordained Patriarch in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to give you a patriarchal blessing. This blessing will comfort and guide you throughout your mortal life and beyond into the post-mortal spirit world. It will be like a Liahona of light to give direction and inspiration. I admonish you to read it frequently. As you ponder upon the things which are written herein, the Spirit of the Lord will distill upon your heart and mind, your spiritual eyes will be opened, and you will receive insights and promptings that will guide your steps and be a source of encouragement.

*****, you are a chosen daughter of Divine Parents who know and love you. They are concerned for your temporal and spiritual welfare. You were nurtured in their presence and taught the glorious principles of life and salvation. You shouted for joy with the Spirit sons and daughters of God when the merciful plan of redemption was proclaimed. You championed the principle of agency and were devoted to the cause (of) truth and righteousness. You were admired and loved by many of Father's children for being valiant, for your charitable nature and the manner in which you conducted your relationships with others. When the time arrived to enter mortality, you were prepared and joyful at the opportunity of coming into a probationary and preparatory estate. You were taught the merciful plan of redemption whereby you would continue to grow and advance towards godliness.

You were born at a momentous time in the history of the earth when the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ has been completed. You were born into a marvelous family where there is love and harmony and peace and security. Your mother and father love you and a concerned about your development and happiness. I bless you, *****, that during these years of preparation you will grow and develop into lovely womanhood, you will be taught by the Holy Ghost, and you will become converted into the gospel of Jesus Christ and to the restoration. You will be given many opportunities to serve and participate in The Church of Jesus Christ. You will assist in the unfolding drama of the restoration and be a witness to the coming of the Lord in glory before the great millennial epoch. You will assist in bringing forth the latter-day Zion. You are blessed with the gift of faith in Jesus Christ to know He is the Son of God, the resurrected and glorified Redeemer who atoned for the sins and infirmities of mankind. Stand upon your feet at appropriate times and places and declare your testimony of Him and His holy work to redeem. As you bear this testimony, many individuals will be drawn to you, and desire greater faith in Jesus Christ and His divine work.

As you listen to and obey the counsel of your mother and father your days will be lengthened and spared. Express love and appreciation to them for the home in which you live and the opportunities you have to develop and learn. Love and honor them, especially as they advance in age and you will have an opportunity to nurture them. As you acknowledge the sacrifices they have made in your behalf, you will feel joy and experience peace and contentment. Observe carefully, *****, the righteous model of marriage and family life in your home. Learn from their experience and watch how they conduct themselves in providing temporal and spiritual strength to their children.

The day will come when you will desire to be complete and to have the loving companionship of one who will be true and devoted to you. Do not be hasty in this selection of a life's companion. Be prayerful and diligent in keeping the commandments, and you will be led to one who will be faithful. I bless you to become a righteous mother in Zion, to rejoice in faithful posterity who will honor your name. I bless you with strength and physical well-being in child-bearing, that you will not suffer physical complications in this regard, that you will be protected and guarded. I bless you with the gift of wisdom and the ability to teach and counsel your children, so they will grow to maturity whole and healthy. Because of your loving and nurturing attention they will experience joy and success.

Be pure in heart, in mind and body, and the Holy Ghost will be a constant companion. You will be an instrument whereby Heavenly Father will reveal spiritual and eternal truths that will guide you along the path of mortality. Listen carefully to the voice of the Spirit. Take nothing into your body or mind that would interfere with the reception of the Spirit of the Lord, for His voice is Spirit. You will make important decisions that will affect you and your children for the remainder of your lives in mortality and on into the eternities ahead. Therefore, I bless you with the gift of revelation and wisdom to make wise and righteous decisions that will protect and bring happiness.

You will be blessed with opportunities to teach and counsel young women in the Church, many of whom have lost their way. They will come to you for comfort and friendship. I bless you with the power to communicate, and give wise counsel. Because of your friendship and efforts they will be encouraged and strengthened.

You are of the House of Israel, an heir to the promised blessings given anciently to Isaac and Rebecca, to Jacob and Rachel. You are a descendant of Joseph and his son Ephraim, the lad upon whom the choicest blessings of heaven and earth were bestowed. These blessings are yours to enjoy in this life and throughout eternity. You will enjoy divine protection and guidance, and be blessed with righteous posterity. You are blessed with a bright and quick mind, and I bless you with a magnification of mind to reason and process and analyze. It will be made known to you by the whisperings of the Holy Spirit your life's work, and the avenues of education you should pursue that will qualify and prepare you to be productive, to become a leader in your chosen profession. I bless you that your home will be a haven of peace and love and harmony where there will be no poverty, and you will see eye to eye with your husband in temporal matters. Your home will be a refuge of comfort where spirituality will be developed.

There is a work for you to do in gathering names of loved ones for whom the sacred ordinances of exaltation must be performed. As you serve in this redemptive labor, the Lord will bless you, and you will feel the presence of those on the other side of the veil who will aid and protect you. You will have the opportunity of entering the House of the Lord with your husband to perform this labor of love which will bring joy and satisfaction into your life.

I bless you to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection, crowned with glory, honor, exaltation and eternal lives. If you are true and faithful to your covenants, your calling and election will be made sure and you will enjoy the presence of the Lord and see His face. I bless you to be a happy person, that your personality will develop and you will gain confidence. Do not be afraid of your friends or strangers. The Adversary is mindful of you. In your hours of prayer and meditation as you seek for understanding and strength, you will conquer the Adversary and the agents who uphold his work. Again, I bless you to be a confident person, able to stand in front of people and communicate and lead with ease. Both young and adult women will look to you for leadership and guidance. Do not fear nor be timid. The Holy Ghost will support you as you serve with an eye single to God's glory. Be humble and willing to yield to the Holy Spirit and be obedient to the commandments of the Lord. Be comforted and cheered and encouraged. Go forth, free to develop yourself, and choosing those things that are true, praiseworthy, lovely, and of good report, in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen.
