Sister ***** in the spirit of love and fellowship in the Gospel I place my hands upon thy head and pronounce unto thee a Patriarchal blessing having been ordained a patriarch by Elder Harold B. Lee of the Council of the Twelve. Dear Sister this blessing which is given to thee according to thy desire and in harmony with thy wishes will be a guiding light and an inspiration in thy life inasmuch as it is a gift of the Lord in thy behalf. And it is ratified by the angels of heaven who record these things given through the priesthood for thy good.

Thy lineage is noble indeed inasmuch as you are through the loins of Ephraim the son of Joseph who was sold into Egypt. And in that lineage the Gospel is restored in this day and you are one of the partakers of the same. It is for you to know that in the lineage of Ephraim are the home makers even those in Zion and this is the great mission of mothers in Israel. Our heavenly Father loves thee dearly for the manifest desires of thy heart to raise righteous and obedient souls unto him. Dear Sister you will know how great this mission is when you understand there is another lineage of father Abraham who are not home makers but are wanderers upon the face of the desert. The home that you make will be sweet and sacred and sanctified and even those who dwell therein will have their guardian angels to prompt them even as you teach you little children. The destroying angel will pass by your home even as is recorded in ancient and Holy Writ.

Dear Sister you were one of the sweet and obedient even one of the bright and intelligent spirits in the spirit world before this earth was organized. And you were numbered among the most faithful and you were fore-ordained to come forth in this day. Through thy manifest desires you will go on and do great and privileged deeds of righteousness even in the Kingdom of God here upon the earth. And through all the goodness of thy life you will stand high with light and inspiration to direct you. The spirit of the Lord will dwell within your righteous tabernacle of flesh and that sweet and holy spirit will be reflected even from your countenance. There will be those who will see you and love you feeling the inspiration of that sweet spirit which is manifest in your life. You will stand as one placed high and mighty with the principles of the Gospel as mighty supporting pillars to place and support you in that privileged position. Privileged dear Sister inasmuch as you will be an inspiration unto others.

You will be able to teach the Gospel and your prayers will be answered even that you will be able to teach many whom you love. And you will see the fruits of your efforts and labors. Dear Sister always understand that even though you are one of the few in the Church the work is great indeed. But you will be given power to perform the mission that lies before you for when the Lord calls His children to great responsibilities He provides the way. The way will be provided for you to be one of the dutiful sisters in Zion and you will be loved by your associates. You will be a teacher and an expounder of the Gospel even in the classes of the Church and among those with whom you associate. And the principles of the Gospel will be felt by you and you will be able to live and abide by the laws and the ordinances.

You shall go into the temple of the Lord and be sealed in celestial marriage unto your beloved companion and your children will be sealed unto that union. Dear sister that is a privilege and a blessing beyond the words of mortal man to explain to you in their entirety as a spiritual blessing unto you. But know and understand that the windows of heaven will be opened and blessings poured down even showered upon you. Dear Sister let there be peace in your life for sweet is the work that lies before you. Your health and strength will be such that you will perform the mission that is yours.

You will be an angel of mercy in your father's household among your kindred ancestors in the temples of the Lord. And you will feel that sweet influence in those holy houses inasmuch as you will be giving the privileges of the Gospel unto those who look to you. If the veil were withdrawn you would see those who love you and pray earnestly and intercede with the Lord in your behalf. And they are thankful that one of their number such as you has accepted the Gospel.

I seal you up to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection of the just and the faithful. And you will stand among those who are the faithful servants even those who have served the Lord.

Know and understand how great you are in the creation of all things. And in the words of King Benjamin those who are in the service of their fellowmen are in the service of God.

Dear Sister you will be a teacher of little children even in your home and in the Church. And the day will come in the eternities of time that you will be numbered and will join hands with the mothers and the wives and the daughters of prophets and you will do this in thanksgiving. You were fore-ordained to a great and a glorious mission and through thy earnest efforts and desires you shall be given every blessing promised unto thee in this recorded blessing. I seal upon thy head at this time all the blessings you have received in a proper way heretofore under the hands of the priesthood.

It will be you privilege to stand hand-in-hand with your beloved companion and be numbered with the faithful in the days of the Millennium when the Savior comes again to reign as King of all. You will be numbered with those to go forth in the celestialization of this earth. And truly in the eternities of time you will be privileged to be saved and exalted even crowned among the daughters of our heavenly Father in the highest degree of His celestial kingdom. And eternal offspring will be your great blessing there.

Dear Sister the blessings that await thee are numerous and great indeed and they are worth all the effort and the time and the talents and the gifts that you have in attaining those blessings. Your gifts and talents will be multiplied and increased and strengthened for your good and the good of your family and for the good of your fellowmen.

Let there be peace in your life as you read your blessing. Read it often for it is sacred unto thee and it is sealed upon thy head having been given through the power and the vision of the Patriarchal office of the priesthood into thy individual life. And the day will come dear Sister when there will be those who will love the testimony that you give. Your testimony will be such that those who hear you in the spirit of love will be greatly strengthened. This will be a gift with you.

Wisdom is a great virtue that you should seek of the Lord and the promise unto thee is that you will receive it in abundance. And you will use wisdom with the knowledge and the understanding and the blessings of life that you have and to direct you in all of your efforts. This blessing is given with the knowledge and the understanding that from this day forth your power to do good will be stronger and with greater determination. This is given in the name of our Beloved Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. Amen.
