Dear Brother *****, having the authority of a Patriarch in the _____ Stake,I lay my hands upon your head and give unto you your Patriarchal Blessing.
I bless you that you will be able to have an understanding of the work that you must do in this life, and that as you go to your Father in Heaven in humble prayer, he will give you the assurance of knowing the things you should do. You should be involved in helping other people to understand the Gospel, both as a missionary and with your family, with your relatives, with any people that you come in contact with. The Lord intends that the major function and role of Latter-day Saints in this dispensation is to so live and so teach that people will hear and understand the message of the restored Gospel and be led to participate in its privileges. You will have opportunities to teach the people you meet. I would encourage you to be bold in stating your position with the church, that others might realize your love and feeling for the Lord, for the church and for the Priesthood. I bless you that you will have words come to your mouth, and your understanding will be increased, that you might know the things that you should say to those who are inquiring, and to those whom you think would be interested.
I bless you that you will have inspiration given to you from the power of the Holy Spirit, that he might give you assurance, power and understanding, and prompt you to know the people you should talk with.
I bless you as a patriarch in your own home, in your family and with your children and grandchildren, that you will be respected and loved by them for the great person that you are. As you gather them together they will respect and revere you as their father and patriarch, and as one from whom the Spirit of the Lord emanates.
I bless you in your relationship with your wife, that you will be able to have increased love and peace together, even in such measures as you might have thought not possible, that the power of the spirit will be so great with you as you serve together that it will be a great joy and happiness to you.
I bless you that you will always be an example, that you will have power and strength from on high to be the example that you should be to your fellow men.
You should know that you were one of the favored children of the Father in the premortal world, and that you came forth in this particular dispensation of the fullness of times that you might do a great work here. Much of the work for you in mortality you have already done, but you yet have much that you can do to build up the Lord's Kingdom.
I bless you that you will have health and strength, commensurate with your desires and your righteousness and your faith, that you will be able to continue to function as you would desire.
I bless you that you will have the knowledge of being careful in the things that you eat, and the way you take care of your health so that you will have the opportunity of having increased vitality.
I bless you that as your years go on and mature, that there will be an increased outpouring of the Spirit upon you. You are entitled and will receive great peace and happiness and joy in this life and the next because of your service in building up the Lord's Kingdom.
I bless you that as one of the descendants of Ephraim, you are entitled to all of the blessings, even the responsibilities that are associated with that lineage. You will come forth in the morning of the first resurrection, crowned with glory and immortality and eternal lives and you will have great rejoicing in your posterity, even to the point of exaltation in the Celestial Kingdom of our Savior. You are entitled to that privilege and by faithfulness you will obtain it. You will have the great privilege of associating with the pure in heart throughout the eternities to come.
Again I bless you with the strength and power to contact those that you are inspired to visit with and teach them the Gospel. Help them to understand and grow and have the privileges and blessings that you have had since your baptism into the church and your participation in the Priesthood. You should help others to have the joy that comes from that kind of service.
As you continue to pour out your heart in humble prayer to our Father in Heaven, you will have questions answered that will increase your understanding of the Gospel, and will even unfold to you the mysteries of his Kingdom, the kingdom of our Savior, and you will have great peace in this increased understanding that will come to you. I would encourage you to read the literature of the church, read the Scriptures, and pray about the meaning and understanding that can be received therein.
I would encourage you to participate fully and as often as you are able, in the ordinance work in the temple, because that will bring you joy and peace and happiness.
All of these blessings I seal upon you, through your faithfulness, and promise you as well that you will have every unmentioned blessing that you seek for in righteousness, and that you prepare yourself to receive, and do this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, Amen.
