Brother John, in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, I place my hand upon thy head to give unto thee a Father's blessing, because thou has got no Father and because of thy integrity of heart. I seal upon thy head the blessings of the everlasting gospel, together with the blessings of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I seal upon thee and thy posterity after thee forever because thou hast obeyed the voice of the Lord through his servants and gathered up with the people of God. Thou shalt have joy and rejoicing in thy labours and thy last days shalt be thy best days. Thou shalt be blessed with long life and see good days in the land of the living. Thou shalt be a Father in Israel to comfort the afflicted, feed the hungry, and clothe the naked. I seal the blessings of the Fathers upon thy head, even the blessings of Jacob of old, whose seed thou art through the House of Joseph of the loins of Ephraim. Your faith and health and activity shall increase from day to day, the spirit of God shall come upon you to bless thy posterity, like Jacob of old thou shalt be a blessing and a comfort to thy family all thy days. I seal upon your head all your former blessings, baptism, and Holy ordinances with power to keep all the covenants thou has made. Thy feet shall not stray from the gospel path. Thou shall assist in the redemption of thy Father's House and forefathers and fill thy mission to this earth like a shock of corn fully ripe. Thou shall go to thy grave in peace and shall sleep till the trump shall sound to wake thee up to rise in the resurrection of the Just. I seal upon your head every blessing and desire of thine heart. I seal you up to eternal life to thy exaltation and endless glory. I seal all these blessings upon thy head according to the holy order and sealing power that binds on earth and binds in heaven in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
