Brother ***** I place my hands upon your head and seal upon you a Fathers and a Patriarchal Blessing. Thou art one of the noble sons of Zion and have been preserved to come forth in these the latter days for a great and wise purpose. The Lord has watched over thee and caused thy guardian angel to watch over thee from thy birth until the present time and has preserved thee from the hands of the Destroyer and from many accidents and from the evils of this world and opened up thy way before thee and assisted thee in bringing up thy brothers and sisters in honor before the Lord.

Thou art of Joseph and a legal heir to the priesthood of the living God. Thou shalt be enabled to accomplish a great work for thy family and thy kindred who have passed to the great beyond. It is thy privilege to live and behold the Redemption of Zion and the coming of the Savior with the mighty hosts of Heaven. Thou shalt have the privilege of sitting down with mighty men and angels and walking and talking with them as one now walks and talks with another. Therefore be determined and resolute in keeping the covenants you have made with your Heavenly Father and observing all of the ordinances of the gospel and your days and years shall be increased unto you as long as you shall have a desire to live upon the Earth with wives and a great kingdom who shall rise up and call you blessed.

All these gifts, blessings and promises shall be yours through your faithfulness, for I seal them upon your head in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
