Sister *****, by virtue of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood that I hold, and as an ordained patriarch in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I humbly lay my hands upon your head to pronounce upon you a patriarchal blessing, even a blessing from your Heavenly Father to you as manifest through his Holy Spirit, and through his humble servant. May this blessing be unto you a key of knowledge, a source of inspiration and guidance and a comfort to you throughout your life.

Dear *****, your Heavenly Father is most pleased with your earnest desire at this moment to seek his will in your behalf, to seek his blessings, his love, and confirmation of blessings he has for you through this patriarchal blessing. He is pleased with your goodness and with your desire to serve him and give of yourself to his service and to the service of others that surround you, and with your broken heart and contrite spirit.

*****, I bless you to remain strong and faithful, firm and immovable in the gospel principles of Jesus Christ. Your Savior knows you and is also anxious for you. He will be with you throughout your life as you seek him through earnest, mighty, and constant prayer in your heart, and daily upon your knees, seeking the blessings of your Heavenly Father.

*****, know that you are a special and beloved daughter of your Heavenly Father. You held that status even before coming to earth into mortality. In your pre-mortal life you were valiant, you loved your Heavenly Father, and a Heavenly Mother, who were close to you, and you were obedient. When our Heavenly Father explained the plan of happiness you too shouted for joy, and you were anxious to come to earth. You knew that you could be faithful even though your memory would be taken from you, and would prove true to the tests that would be given you. Also, to obtain that wonderful body that was promised you, which you needed to progress and become like your Heavenly Parents.

*****, you were blessed to come into a favored home because of your merits. You were taught the gospel of Jesus Christ, which truths ring true to you at this time, and the Lord is pleased with your reactivation, and your willingness to recommit and serve him faithfully. I bless you to continue to give honor and obedience to those wonderful parents that taught you well. As you do this your life truly will be happy and fulfilled, keeping the commandments of the Lord.

*****, as well as a rich heritage to which you were born, you were born of royal lineage, even that of being a daughter of Ephraim. You are therefore an heir to the promises, blessings, and covenants given to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and Joseph; but also the responsibilities given them and their descendants.

*****, as you came to earth you were given that most wonderful and beautiful body. I bless you to keep it pure, wholesome, and healthy and strong by obedience to the Word of Wisdom that has been revealed, and by keeping on the full armor of God, of truth, of righteousness, of virtue.

I bless you to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, for as you do these things faithfully, you will be blessed with that Spirit, the gift of the Holy Ghost, with his constant companionship in your life. I bless you with the gift of discernment to recognize with clarity the promptings and messages that will come into your mind and heart, enabling you to make the proper decisions at the proper time, also to heed warnings that may come to you. You recognize that you live in perilous times, when the Adversary has such a great influence in the world to deceive and mislead. But I bless you that he will not have that power over you. I bless you to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and be directed thereby. At these times of physical or spiritual dangers, you will be delivered to safety as you give heed to the voice of warning.

*****, you were blessed as you came into mortality with special gifts, the gift to love others, the gift of wanting to serve, to uplift, to help, and edify the lives of others. I bless you to become accomplished by using these gifts, also the gift to beautify. As you give of yourself, many spiritual gifts will flow unto you, even the gift of inspiration to know how to conduct your life and how to help others in their time of need. I bless you to be sensitive to their needs, and to have this gift. I bless you to be compassionate, with unconditional love, and also forgiving as you witness mistakes and wrong doings, but that you will only have a desire to help, and forgive. Also, with the ability to forgive and forget your own weaknesses and mistakes of the past, and to feel the full atoning power of your Savior In your life, to feel his love and his peace rest upon your heart and soul. Truly he has forgiven you. You will have that knowledge, that feeling, and that peace in your heart, which will sustain you through life making your trials, tribulations, and challenges light and easy unto you. Moments of discouragement will flee quickly and you will go forth in the brightness of hope with trust and faith in your Savior.

I bless you to have a love for the scriptures and to use and ponder them daily, and constantly in your heart, and a profound appreciation and love of your Savior will be there, for all that he has done and will do for you.

Your Heavenly Father is anxious to bless you with inspiration, with understanding, with knowledge, with wisdom, and with the truths of the gospel, and with the strength also to live it fully with exactness.

You will be called to positions of great responsibility. You were called to serve the youth and build their testimonies and their love of the Lord. I bless you to do this and to have a great impact upon the youth. I bless you also to be prepared for other callings, for you will be called to be a leader in Zion. I bless you with the gift of administration, the gift to organize, and the gift to work kindly and understandingly with others, for you have that ability and desire.

I bless you to quickly progress to the goal that you and your husband have set to go to the temple. Keep yourself prepared and preparing by learning, by studying, and by living a pure life. Prepare to go to the temple as soon as you can to receive your endowments and have your sealing work done which will truly make this family of yours an eternal family. I bless you to be a good mother and a good companion, understanding their hearts and needs, respecting the priesthood in your family, honoring it and following it, and being as one, hand in hand together with your wonderful companion. I bless you to be sensitive to the Spirit as you teach, as you nurture the children that will be in your home. They will look to you for guidance and they will esteem you highly as their eternal mother and follow your example and your teachings. For special children will bless your home. I bless your home to be one of love, one where the Spirit dwells, a house of God.

I bless you to go forth in your assignments and in your callings to be willing to give of yourself and to serve the Lord anytime, in any position. Eventually you will go with your companion serving missions. Be ready as a missionary. I bless you with the gift of testimony, the gift of faith, the gift of speech to teach. You will be instrumental in bringing many souls unto Christ and into his kingdom. So go forth anxiously, optimistically, and cheerfully always in your life knowing that your Heavenly Father is near unto you and anxious for you. I bless you to be prosperous both temporally and spiritually in all of your righteous endeavors, callings, and assignments. You will be blessed with the needful things of life so be faithful in your tithes and offerings and the Lord will be liberal with this prosperity.

I bless you also with the spirit and desire to return to the House of the Lord often, after you have once been there. As you do so you will continually feel the power, the strength, inspiration, and revelation to the fulfillment of your callings and your mortal mission. I bless you also with the Spirit of Elijah, that burning in your heart and in your soul will be the desire to seek out your ancestors and to see that their work is done. You will feel this need. You will feel their presence in this great work as you perform it. In due time you will be an officiator in the temples of the Lord.

I seal all of these blessings upon you, conditioned upon your faithfulness, and seal you up to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection, being with your Savior and with the elect of God, and assisting him in establishing his Heavenly Kingdom here upon the earth. *****, I bless you to come forth crowned with glory, honor, immortality, and eternal life as you return to your Heavenly Father in honor, fulfilling the mission that he sent you here to perform.
