Dear sister *****, as a servant of the Lord I place my hands upon your head and give you a Patriarchal Blessing that you might find joy and happiness and consolation in the things that will be pronounced upon your head. You were chosen as a choice spirit in the Spirit World to come forth in the day when the Gospel was restored that you might enjoy all the blessings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and be taught in your youth the Gospel and receive and understand it, and receive a testimony of the divine mission of the Prophet Joseph Smith. You are of the loins of Ephraim a chosen daughter of Israel. The Lord is mindful of you and He loves you dearly. You were known to him in the Spirit World for your sweet life and for the things you accomplished there. Now you have come to earth and God gave you a great mission to perform at your birth. Your greatest mission in life will be that of motherhood. Some very choice spirits are awaiting in the Spirit World to come to your home where they can be taught the Gospel and be reared in a home where the Spirit of God can dwell. Remember, in preparing these little bodies or tabernacles for the spirits that your Heavenly Father will send to you to occupy you become a co-partner with your Heavenly Father in this great mission. Those children who shall come to your home will bring you much joy and happiness and they will be choice spirits for the Lord knows that you will be a good mother and that you have a good husband. The Lord led you and your husband together for a wise purpose. In bringing children to earth you fulfill the great commandment the Lord gave to multiply and replenish the earth. The Lord's work is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man- so the Lord sends His chosen spirits to these Latter-Day Saint homes.

You will also be called to labor in the organizations of the Church. You have talents. Seek to understand and know them by prayer and you will be able to accomplish much good in helping others to understand this glorious Gospel. You have been richly blessed inasmuch as the way was opened so that you could come to Zion, the land choice above all other lands where Jesus will come and meet His chosen people and abide with them. You shall be among them that shall be taught from the Fountain Head. Dear sister, magnify your calling in the Church. Seek good companions, keep the Word of Wisdom, live the laws of nature, be kind to the poor, pay your tithes and your offerings and you shall be richly blessed. You shall have a good home, a home where the Angels of God can come because of your sweet personality as a loving mother and loving wife. I bless you, dear sister, that you may understand the purpose of life and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is to bring people into the Celestial Kingdom where God is — where Christ is. It shall be your privilege to be with Them throughout all eternity. You shall feel the nearness of Heavenly Beings and you will have a great desire to always live the Gospel. You shall see many things transpire. Sadness awaits the world and the Lord has promised that those who come to Zion shall be protected from the storm and from wrath when it shall be poured out without mixture upon the world.

Dear sister, be grateful for the Gospel. Thank the Lord for His many kindnesses and mercy unto you and the Lord will bless you abundantly. You will have a work to do in the Temple. Go to the Temple often. That is the Lord's House. The Lord says, "I will meet my people there." What a glorious privilege it will be when He comes to his Temple and His Chosen sons and daughters will be there. I bless you with the spirit of discernment and with a long and useful life that when your days are ended you will be changed in the twinkling of an eye and you will be among those who shall be caught up to meet Him in the clouds. What a glorious promise what a glorious blessing. I seal upon you the blessings of health and strength and everything that will be for your good and benefit that you might be able to fulfill your mission and be among those who will assist in bringing souls unto Christ and build up Zion. I seal you up to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection clothed in robes of glory and you will take your place by the side of your husband with your posterity assembled and they shall honor and bless you for your unselfish work that you have done for them. I bless you now with all your former gifts and blessings and that your calling and election will be sure, sealing these blessings upon your head by virtue and authority of the Holy Priesthood and in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
