Sister *****, by the power of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood which I hold, and in the name of Jesus Christ, I give you your patriarchal blessing this evening from your Heavenly Father. You are a choice spirit in his eyes. You were allowed to come to the earth at this time because you are a choice spirit. You now have the opportunity to prove yourself worthy to return back to Him. He is anxious for you to demonstrate the great qualities you had in the life before you came to the earth. You will have many opportunities to prove yourself worthy to be in His presence again.

Realize the love your Heavenly Father has for you and how He is looking forward to the great things you are going to do on this earth. You have many friends who look up to you and admire you. You will be given many opportunities to talk with them about the church.

You have been very fortunate to be born into a family who loves the Gospel and desires to do the right things. Always seek ways to be of service to those around you, particularly members of your family. You will have opportunities to be a peacemaker in certain situations and will have an opportunity to counsel members in your own family. You are loved and appreciate by them just as your Heavenly Father loves you.

There are many things you can do to be a spiritual person on this earth and gain the spiritual knowledge you need. Develop a system to read your scriptures and say your prayers daily and commune with your Heavenly Father. Let Him know how much you love Him. Ask for the things you need and they will be given to you. You will be blessed in spirituality through the opportunities you will have to gain knowledge. Attending seminary and institute classes are important at the appropriate time. You will also be given opportunities to learn through your Bishop and those in authority in the Church. Be mindful of our great Prophet and his counselors and the general authorities and their words of counsel. Seek the assistance of those in authority when needed, realizing they are Heavenly Father's chosen and elect on this earth to be of benefit to you.

There might be times when you are tempted to do things that are not right, if you keep yourself spiritually fit, you will recognize these things when they come and will ready to ward off the adversary and not let him take control of situations.If you are strong enough in the Gospel, you will not be tempted beyond that which you can resist. You can also avoid things that might be unpleasant for you.

Some of the most important and enjoyable times in your life will be when you are in the service of others. Seek ways to bless the lives of others with your spirituality. It is important for you to choose the correct field of study when you go to college. Get all the education you can. The classes you take and the information you learn in school will be very beneficial to you and those around you.

At the appropriate time, you will find the correct young man and be sealed in the Temple. The Temple is a special place. You will be allowed privileges through the sealing process that you would never have otherwise. Through the children who come into your family after you are married and sealed in the Temple, you will find great joy. They will appreciate you because of your desire to serve heavenly Father and follow His will. You will appreciate those little spirits that come so recently from His presence. No matter how successful you are, remember that the most important role you can have on this earth is that of being a mother in Zion. Being a mother will bring you the greatest joy of any activity in which you are engaged.

At this time you are to understand you are from the house of Ephraim, the tribe that has been set apart as the gathering tribe on this earth. You will be given an assignment from your Heavenly Father and will joyously carry out that assignment as you find those you have been assigned to seek. They will always call you blessed because of your desire to follow Heavenly Father's commandments.

When things are troubling you and you cannot receive answers through your prayers at home, go to the Temple and pray. You can feel a closeness to Heavenly Father there and quite often you can get the answers you need.

Take an interest in genealogy and seek out your deceased relatives. You will find great joy in doing this. Show love to those around you and let them know how important the Church is to you. Be joyous that you have found the true Church through your family and have been born into a family that loves the church.

No matter what success you have in this life, always give your Heavenly Father credit. Acknowledge His hand in all things. He is the reason for your success.

Keep the commandments. Give your testimony. Show others how much you appreciate Heavenly Father and what He does for you each day and you will always be blessed. I give you his blessing in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
