Brother *****, I lay my hands upon your head and confer upon you a Patriarchal Blessing. You are a descendant of Ephraim in the household of Jacob, and are an heir to all the blessings of the gospel. Dear brother, go forth in faithfulness and good works. Seek to carry your share all along the line. Draw near unto the Lord by faithful works, by prayer, by service. He will bless you with such great and wonderful blessings which will cause your heart to rejoice all the day long. The Lord will make of you a missionary of righteousness, a teacher of the gospel. Wherever you may be at home or abroad, carry with you the spirit of a missionary. Carry with you the spirit of the gospel. Joy will flow unto you in rich abundance. The Lord will bless you exceedingly. He will give you callings to serve here at home and also abroad. He will make of you a leader and a teacher in Zion. He will help you to go forth and hold high and responsible positions in His church. He will bless you with a knowledge of the gospel that will be clear and distinct. He will bless you with a testimony which will be strong and fervent. He will bless you with His spirit to lead and guide you in the things which you should do. Learn to recognize the promptings of the spirit and follow the same. You will be led and guided all along the line. The Lord will make known unto you things which you should do, give you promptings to prepare yourself for things which are to come. When trials of any sort come up in your life, present them to the Lord in prayer. He knows the answer. He will give it to you if you ask Him. Take your part in the Sabbath Schools and in the other associations of the Church.

Be a good student, a good listener, the Lord will make of you a good leader and a good teacher. Seek all the blessings of the gospel. Seek the blessings of the House of the Lord, working for the living and for the dead. When the opportunity comes that you may be able to attend the temple, you will receive the greatest blessing which the Lord has for man on this earth. There is a work to do in your family. You can assist in gathering genealogy, and work in the temples for the dead. You can assist in the work of the family organizations. I bless you that your life may be preserved long upon this earth to do a great and good work, that faith and service may be yours, that the spirit of a missionary and a teacher of the gospel may accompany you through life. Go forth, therefore, be of good cheer. The Lord will bless you with every blessing which you need. You will be filled with gratitude and thankfulness, and give glory unto Him all the day long. In the end, after you have finished your work here upon this earth, you shall have power given unto you to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection, to stand at the head of your posterity in the Eternal Kingdom of our Father, there to be crowned with glory and Eternal Life and receive the reward which is given unto the faithful. These blessings are yours through your faithfulness. I seal them upon your head by power of the priesthood, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
