By the authority of the Melchizedek Priesthood, as Patriarch of the _____ Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I place my hands on your head to pronounce your Patriarchal Blessing that is the mind and the will of the Lord to you.

Dear sister, the Lord is highly pleased that you are here. During the pre-existence, you stood with grace, nobility and character, promising to our Heavenly Father that you would come to the earth and lead a righteous life that would be beneficial to His children.

You were born and raised in circumstances in which you could be taught the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. You are a descendant of Ephraim and are entitled to the blessings of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You have a special responsibility to lead in the gathering of Israel in this, the Dispensation of the Fulness of Times. You will have a wonderful role in helping to prepare the earth for the return of Jesus Christ.

I bless you with the gift of compassion and empathy. I bless you to be a loyal friend and an example of righteous womanhood. I bless you with effectiveness in dealing with children. You will go to the temple and be sealed for time and for eternity, and you will raise a family. You will teach your children with love in a manner that they will never forget. They will go into the world to make a valuable contribution. l bless you that, as a mother, you will be an example to other women. They will see how you teach and train your children and will want to learn from you. They, thereby, will improve in teaching their families.

I bless you in your education, because you are willing to follow the admonition of President Hinckley to seek all of the education that you can. Your education will be profitable because it will enable you to sustain your family in times of need and will help you to teach your children correct principles.

I bless you to teach in Primary, Relief Society, and Young Women and to serve in other important ceilings in the Church. You will bless the lives of others for good. You will be conscious of the afflictions of others and will minister to them. You will be sympathetic and understanding. Your gift of compassion will develop into charity - the pure love of Christ as you uplift the downtrodden. Besides helping the righteous move forward, you will help those who have fallen behind. By your efforts they will gain renewed strength and recover and, with testimonies bolstered, they will go forward with you in seeking the kingdom of God.

Because of your wonderful talent and capacity, Satan would like to discourage you and halt your progress. But you must never fear evil. The Lord loves you as His choice daughter. He will take you by the hand and lead you through discouragement as you prayerfully and faithfully seek His guidance. I bless you that, as you do this, you will feel a strong testimony in your soul—a burning in your bosom—that will carry you forward.

I bless you with the gift of appreciation for good music, art, and literature. You will embody the concepts of the 13th Article of Faith. Your choices of good quality in culture will strengthen you and others against the darkness and subtleties of the world. Consequently, your life will be one of joy. As a woman, you will radiate beauty, wisdom, and all of the wholesome qualities you possessed in the pre-existence, but now greatly magnified.

I bless you to go to the temple often to perform ordinances for your ancestors, for you will have this opportunity and responsibility.

When you conclude your earthly ministry, you will return to the presence of the Lord and offer to Him your talents, which have been magnified in His service. Our Father in Heaven, your family, and others whose lives have been made more whole by your presence will rejoice because of what you have accomplished.

Always remember the wonderful gifts that you have and how much the Lord wants you to share these with His children. He loves you and appreciates your willingness to serve them.

I seal this blessing upon you by revelation from the Holy Ghost, by the power of the Melchizedek Priesthood, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
