In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I lay my hands upon thy head as thou has one Father to bless thee with a Father's blessing. Thou art of the tribe of Benjamin and inasmuch as thou shalt live humble before the Lord thou shalt receive Benjamin's portion. Thou art entitled to the priesthood with all the blessings and privileges thereunto belonging. Thou hast left thy native land to dwell among the Saints which is well pleasing in the sight of the Lord. The Spirit whispereth that thou hast a mission to fill in thy native land. Therefore dear Brother, gird on the gospel armor and make up thy mind to cross the mighty deep. Thou shalt have power to rebuke the winds and waves on thy passage if they rise to oppose thee. Thou shalt have power to confound all who rise in opposition to thy ministry. Thou shalt proclaim the gospel throughout the city of Edinburgh as with the voice of a trumpet. Many of the haughty and proud of that city shall humble themselves through thy words. Great men shall be brought down and many shall acknowledge the truth. Thou shalt go through the length and breadth of Scotland and shall perform a mighty Mission among thy Brethren. Through thy means many of them shall rejoice in the Kingdom of god.

Thou shalt have power to redeem all thy friends both dead and living. Thou shalt be blessed in thy family and thy children shall be useful in pushing forward the cause of Zion. Thou art not Especially called to preach to the different nations of the earth.

When thou hast finished thy mission thou shalt return to Zion in peace and then have an inheritance in peace with thy family and great shall be thy joy.

Thou shalt be a counselor in the Church forever.

I seal all these blessings upon thy head if thou wilt be sober and temperate in all things and faithful, and I seal thee up unto Eternal life in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
