Sister *****,

In the name of Jesus Christ and by the authority of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood and as an ordained patriarch, I place my hands upon your head and deliver your patriarchal blessing to be a guide and a comfort to you in the years that you will progress through this earth existence. There was a time in the pre-earth life where you had opportunity to make an important choice in choosing to follow Jesus Christ. You were both anxious and eager to accept the plan that was presented and looked forward to your opportunity to come to this earth to prove yourself. You were surrounded by acquaintances and friends there that you will again have opportunity to meet in this life. You will have experiences where it will be confirmed to you that there are those that you have known before. This will come as a reward of faithfulness and diligence and prayer. The Lord understands you and is willing and able at all times to give you those blessings that you need. Be particularly humble and give the Lord the credit for the accomplishments that you will make both in and out of the gospel.

I bless you that you will be able to find opportunities to share the gospel with others, that they will be natural occurrences and you will be able to feel inspired having words provided for you to make your testimony understandable and clear to those who are maybe confused or lack understanding in spiritual things. Study the scriptures and the Lord will help you to feel close to those that you will read about so that you will know instinctively the circumstances that the scriptures come from and that they will be a source of strength and comfort to you. Your talents and abilities will be useful to you in sharing the gospel and also in fulfilling assignments that are given to you. You will be called to teach children and will have opportunity to share the great stories about Jesus Christ.

Know that your Heavenly Father is in charge of the circumstances of the world and that through difficulties and times of stress or strain you will have an anchor to hold on to knowing that He is your Father and wants you to succeed in all the things that you do. Honor the priesthood, not only in your home but also the priesthood that is held by the prophet and others who administer the ordinances of the gospel in the wards that you will live in. Trust your bishops, and you will have many of them.

Know that they are called of God. Know that they can receive inspiration that will be helpful to you. Pay attention to the privilege that it is to pay tithing, realizing that the Lord will reward you openly for your faithfulness and diligence in following this commandment and that it will be a sense of pride that you have given the Lord His due. There may be times when your faith will be tested through this commandment and that you will be able to feel satisfied from your own performance. You have a responsibility to do family history work so that your ancestors will be provided with temple ordinances because of your efforts. You will be inspired not only where to look but will have the facilities available to do this and your family will be blessed because of it.

I bless you to go to the temple and be sealed for time and eternity to a worthy priesthood holder. Be careful in your selection of friends because your eternal partner will be chosen from among those that you associate with. The Lord will bless you with posterity that you can raise in righteousness and that you will have the joy that comes from training and teaching your little ones about the gospel, as you have been taught as a child. The Lord will provide you with an escape from temptations, discouragements and difficulties, by your verbal prayers asking Him to bless you with those good things that you need. You will be able to make the decisions that will bring you happiness and joy.

You are descended from the Tribe of Ephraim and will receive all of the blessings that are promised to the faithful. Never be willing to remember what the Lord is willing to forget. Follow the counsel and advice of your parents. Stay close to them throughout your life. The Lord has said that your days will be long upon the land for honoring your parents. I bless you to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection after a life of service and dedication to the gospel, helping your fellow men and women wherever you can. I bless you with a spirit of compassion to those around you. Have patience and understanding for those who are maybe slower to understand or unable to. The Lord will bless you for your kindness to them. All of these blessings and promises are conditioned on your desire to do what is right and maintain a good spirit about you and a spirit of optimism and cheerfulness.
