Brother *****, by authority of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood and in the name of Jesus Christ, as a Patriarch in the _____ Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I lay my hands upon your head to give unto you your Patriarchal Blessing. *****, as your blessing is administered you will feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. He will bear witness to you that the Savior loves you and desires that you return to Him clean and pure, as you are now. He desires that your testimony be strengthened and grow through your good works and that you be an instrument in His hands as you serve others and share the light of Christ with those that you will touch and reach. You will do this not only as missionary, but throughout your life as you teach and live the gospel of Jesus Christ in its purity, reflecting the love of Christ for others. I bless you as you study the scriptures and the principles of the gospel that your heart will be open to the truths that are contained therein and that your mind will be able to envision that which the Lord wants you to know. The Holy Ghost will bear witness of the truthfulness of the scriptures and the teachings of the Lord's prophets in the latter-days. You will witness change in many lives because of the way in which you present the gospel and you will have an opportunity to share your testimony in many places in many different ways. People will watch you and know that you are a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and desire to follow after you. Therefore, the example you are setting and the way in which you conduct yourself must be pleasing to our Father in Heaven. You will feel the love of the Savior and have the Holy Ghost guide and direct you throughout your life.

You are from the Patriarchs of old, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph through the House of Ephraim and have all the rights, privileges, blessings and responsibilities that attend this holy lineage. You will be called to serve as a full time missionary and the Lord will direct your call. You will be given the inspiration and guidance to bring them the gospel in its purity and simplicity so that they may understand, and you will witness them accept the gospel and come into the Church and Kingdom of our Father in Heaven here upon the earth. As you serve you will experience the trials and tribulations that all missionaries encounter and you will suffer disappointment when some do not embrace the gospel, yet you must press forward and turn in faith to the Lord. He will guide and direct you. You have the gift of faith and as you enlarge and improve upon it you will have the sure knowledge that the Savior loves you and that you will come back into His loving embrace. It is your faith that will ultimately enable you to return to the presence of Father in Heaven.

You will have the privilege of entering the Holy House of the Lord to be endowed with power from on high and to receive the blessings that come to those who are faithful to the covenants they make within the sacred walls of the temple. You will enter His Holy House with a righteous daughter of God and receive the sealing ordinances that will enable you to be together through all eternity. You must prepare yourself. You must seek for those things that are virtuous and of good report and praiseworthy for they will enrich your life and the life of your wife and your family. She will also bring great joy and happiness into your life because of her desires to seek for the same. You are to teach your children the way that they must walk in order to be together through the eternities, and they will be with you forever as long as you are faithful to all of the covenants you make throughout your life.

Satan desires that you not be successful in fulfilling your mission upon the earth and he will place many impediments in your way and try to challenge you. Rest assured that you can withstand his slings and arrows and that he will have no power over you, for he is bound by righteousness.

You will be called to serve in positions of leadership in the church. These stewardships will be enlarged upon and you will bless the lives of others through service. This will bring great joy and happiness not only to others, but to you and to your family as well. You will witness many changes in the world in the latter-days. You will see people struggling and not know where to turn. You will have a sure witness that you have a prophet of God to guide and direct you. As you follow his counsel you will be on the path the Lord desires.

You have been given many talents and gifts and as you develop and enlarge upon them, others will be added. The Lord will direct your path, be it your educational pursuits, your vocation, or all other worthy endeavors as long as you follow the Holy Spirit and the whisperings that will come to you. You must develop your receptivity to the gift of the Holy Ghost for this gift will bring you back into the presence of our Father in Heaven. It is the greatest gift that can be given to any mortal.

*****, the Lord loves you and desires that you go to Him often in fasting and prayer. As you draw closer to the Lord you will become more like Him. No matter what you are confronted with the Lord will watch over you and will guide you as long as you follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit. I bless you to go forward with cheer and happiness. Look for the good in life and you will be pleased with that which you see and you will be able to share with others. I bless you with the material, physical, mental and spiritual means to complete that mission through your faithfulness.

I bless you to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection with all of the blessings and all of the honor befitting a worthy bearer of the holy priesthood. Through your faithfulness you will have eternal life, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
