Sister *****: By virtue and authority of the office of Patriarch, I lay my hands upon thy head and give unto thee thy Patriarchal Blessing, to be a benefit, a guide, and comfort unto thee, throughout thy life, in accordance with thy faithfulness.

Thou art heir to thine inheritance blessings through the lineage of Ephraim, who was the son of Joseph, who was sold into Egypt by his brethren. They are choice blessings which come unto thee through thy lineage and shall continually be increased unto thee through thy faithfulness.

The Lord is mindful of thee that thou wast born in this a choice generation, under special circumstances, and for a wise purpose. The Lord has given unto thee special experiences which have enabled thee to receive of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to receive many blessings, even eternal blessings.

The Lord shall continue to so bless thee for he shall give unto thee continued experiences to further strengthen and prepare thee in fulfilling thy mission upon the earth. He has blessed thee with special talents and abilities to assist thee therein. Obstacles and barriers shall continually be removed from thy pathway in advance to enable thee to receive of the blessings and to assist thee in fulfilling the duties and responsibilities required of thee. He has blessed thee richly with those gifts and talents of patience and consideration unto others. As thou shalt continue to cultivate those gifts and talents and especially cheerfulness, thou shalt be given power to overcome the efforts of the adversary and even thwart his efforts and thou shalt be an influence and power for good unto others, especially among the younger generation and among those of thy sex for they shall rejoice in thy presence and thy teachings.

In positions of responsibility and trust in the activities of the Church, especially among those of thy sex, the Lord shall bless thee with success in thy efforts. He shall increase thy talents and abilities unto thee as may be needed to enable thee to fulfill those responsibilities. Thou shalt therein be an influence and power for good unto many for thou shalt be given experiences and training and preparation in advance to enable thee to give counsel and advice unto others as they shall come unto thee seeking counsel.

Through thy righteous living and thy teaching with patience and cheerfulness, others shall heed thy teachings and shall bless thee for thy interest in their behalf.

Continue to seek the guidance of the Lord in prayer and in faith, in humility and all things and the Lord shall not withhold His blessings from thee. He shall grant unto thee many blessings for thy good and desires of thy heart in righteousness and at such time as shall be for thy best good.

Thou shalt be given special experiences which shall further strengthen thy testimony of the divinity of the Gospel which shall give unto thee courage and strength to follow thy righteous convictions and assist thee to withstand the trials of life with joy and rejoicing in thy heart.

Continue to live in accordance with the laws of the Gospel and especially the Word of Wisdom and the laws of nature and in keeping the commandments of the Lord to the best of thine ability and the Lord shall add many blessings unto thee. He shall grant unto thee many blessings for thy good even blessings in disguise. Many physical dangers and difficulties shall pass by thee giving unto thee blessings in disguise.

Thou shalt have friends raised up unto thee who shall be a blessing unto thee both temporally as well as spiritually. As thou shalt diligently search in the scriptures and seek knowledge, thou shalt be given further knowledge and understanding for thy good both temporally as well as spiritually.

Through thy desires and efforts in righteousness, the opportunity is given unto thee at this time of receiving thy blessings in the house of the Lord and of being sealed to thy choice companion for time and eternity which shall be a source of eternal blessings of happiness and joy.

Continue to teach thy posterity of the principles of the Gospel and the plan of life and salvation and they shall bless thee for the inheritance which shall come unto them as a result of thy faithfulness and thy teaching, and they as well as others shall heed thy teachings and thy counsel. Thou shalt especially be an influence and power for good therein among those of thy household and thy kindred as well as thine associates.

Thou shalt be a savior upon Mount Zion. Many shall bless thee for thy efforts in their behalf. Be diligent in gathering together records of thine ancestors and thou shalt have much success therein. Thou hast come forth in this a choice generation, under special circumstances, to enable thee to be a saving power unto thy kindred and thine ancestors.

Thou shalt have need to rejoice in thy heart in gratitude for the many blessings of the Lord unto thee. These blessings with those which the Lord shall add, even blessings in disguise, I seal upon thy head and seal thee up to come forth in the first resurrection, in accordance with thy faithfulness and by virtue of the Priesthood I hold, and in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
