Brother *****, in accordance with your desires I lay my hands upon your head and, by the authority of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood, give unto you your Patriarchal Blessing. Your blessings come as a result of your faithfulness and desire to know the will of your Heavenly Father at this time. Your blessing can be a guide as you choose avenues that will bring mortal happiness and eternal joy. It will be a comfort as you are reminded that your Heavenly Father watches over you each day and that His spirit whispers in your ear as you follow your pathway of life.

You belong to the Family of Israel because you were valiant in your first estate while living with your Heavenly Parents. Your Heavenly Father recognized in you one who could be a blessing among the nations of the world so He placed you in the Family of Israel. You are an heir to the blessings promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and they are sealed upon you at this time. If you live worthily you will enjoy the blessing of wealth, a prosperous family, the holy priesthood, and the ability to be a leader in bringing peace and happiness among nations in the world. Your spirit earned this right because of obedience to Heavenly Parents during your first estate. You understood the plan of salvation as the Savior presented His plan of agency. You knew by diligent effort you could make proper choices and fulfill the purpose for which you were created.

As a member of the Family of Israel you belong to the Tribe of Ephraim, and son of Joseph and grandson of Jacob. You inherit all the rights and privileges of this tribe. Now in the latter days the Tribe of Ephraim is being gathered by the tens of thousands to prepare the world for the second coming of the Savior. You are part of the giant army marching forward, shoulder to shoulder, to bring joy to others, perfecting those who look for perfection, and providing saving ordinances in the temples of the Lord.

Brother *****, you are young in years but your spirit is powerful and understands the purpose of life. Listen for the communication of spirit to spirit as you live your life. Remember your first impressions when making decisions. Your guardian angel helps you to overcome temptations and to pattern your life to be a good example to others.

You were placed in mortality for a special purpose to perpetuate the human race and provide mortal tabernacles for spirit children coming from Heavenly Father. You are here to find a worthy companion who by keeping herself morally clean will join with you, through love, to provide those tabernacles. You are yet too young for this activity. You are still growing physically, emotionally, and spiritually but when the time comes you will know you are ready to assume the responsibility of an eternal companion and a father of children. You are yet making decisions as to a field of labor that will be for your good and well-being. Choose one that is compatible with priesthood responsibilities, one that will provide sufficient remuneration for your family, one in which you will be happy each day of life, and above all one in which you can be happy in your home and with your family. You can then be an eternal companion and enjoy the blessings of fatherhood. You will use your priesthood to help your brethren along their pathway of life. If you are faithful you will sit in the councils of the priesthood instructing those in need of instructions, love to those in need of love, and assistance to those needing assistance. Because of your ability you will see your brethren follow the pathway to eternal life, or return to that path if they have gone astray.

Brother *****, in your educational pursuits get a well rounded education so you can be a benefit to your fellow beings. Remember that whatever principle of intelligence you attain unto in this life will rise with you in the resurrection and if you are to become a creator in the worlds to come a greater knowledge of the laws of the universe will be to your benefit.

Learn to be obedient while you are young because obedience is one of the first laws of heaven. If you learn to be obedient while you are young then future years will become much easier and you can then remain on that straight and narrow path leading to eternal life.

Your Heavenly Father promised many blessings when you departed your first estate, when your spirit left the spirit world and entered a small body and was placed in the ***** home. You have grown in that home to become a strong healthy young man, you have learned great principles from you mortal parents, and you will continue to enjoy their instruction and guidance. You must follow their instructions and honor them as instructed in the Ten Commandments. If you honor and respect them they will continue to sacrifice for you and bless you. They have blessed you in the past with a comfortable home and will continue guiding you whenever you need their help.

I seal all these blessings upon you, Brother *****, and through your faithfulness you will have a happy mortal life, your family will be instrumental in bringing peace in your neighborhood, and many will look to you and call your name blessed. You will come forth in the resurrection after your mortal body has rested in the earth and your spirit has returned to paradise. On that glorious morning your spirit and body will be reunited to become a perfect being and you will be judged according to your works in mortal life. May you receive instructions similar to those used in the parable of the talents by the Master and hear the words, 'Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of the Lord.' These blessings are yours. You earned the right to receive them. You live in mortality when temptation is running rampant, but through the influence of the Holy Spirit you will resist evil temptations and be a good example among your peers in this life.

I say unto you to go forth with determination to succeed and the Holy Spirit of Heavenly Father will be with you to guide and help you to excel. I pronounce this blessing by the authority of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood and in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen
