Sister *****, in the name of Jesus Christ, and by the authority of the Melchizedek Priesthood, as an ordained patriarch, I lay my hands upon your head and give you your patriarchal blessing. *****, your father in Heaven is pleased that you have faith and have sought this blessing to know more concerning your service and possibilities. I promise you that you will know the love that your father in Heaven has for you, His daughter. I promise you that, through your obedience, you will return to him, be exalted, and have eternal life.

You are blessed to be upon the earth in this dispensation. You were reserved for this time when you could give service. You were faithful in the premarital existence and served faithfully in that realm. You will have the same privileges upon the earth, for you were chosen to help the work of the lord and to serve your brothers and sisters.

You are of the lineage of Ephraim. Your lineage has significance, for it indicates responsibilities of service and callings you will have. Those of the lineage of Ephraim, are to assist in the gathering of Israel and enable them to receive blessings and ordinances that are necessary for salvation and exaltation. That doesn't mean the responsibilities are limited to missionary work. It encompasses much more. Ephraim's lineage is to lead and teach Heavenly Father's children.

Another responsibility is to do work for those who passed from mortality without the blessings of the gospel. Therefore, temple work will be an important responsibility and blessing for you. I promise you that you will receive the spirit of Elijah and learn your responsibility to do temple work for ancestors. I bless you that you will feel the promptings of the Holy Ghost as you do research and are engaged in temple work. You will have experiences, *****, that will open your heart and your mind to the promises and blessings of eternity. You will sense that the veil is thin. You will receive communications and impressions from beyond the veil. You will know the nearness of those for whom you do work. As you are engaged in temple work, you will sense the greatness of Heavenly Father's plan for His children.

I promise that as you teach the gospel, in many settings, your heart and mind will be opened to the promptings of the Spirit. You will sense the influence of the Spirit. You will know whisperings. You will receive impressions. You will know the peace that comes through the Holy Ghost. These are gifts to help you and to strengthen your faith.

You have the gift of wisdom, along with the gifts of faith, knowledge, and understanding. These will come to you as you fulfill your responsibilities within the Church and in other settings. Be willing to go to the Lord to ask for help and to ask that your gifts be strengthened so you may have exceeding faith and your wisdom increased. I promise you that they will.

You will know, with assurance, that the lord is helping you meet the challenges of the period in which you live. There will be many obstacles and societal impairments of the world in which you live. The lord will help you to overcome the challenges as you witness negative behavior and interference from those who fight against Christ and his church. You will become a peacemaker and be able to handle conflicts. You will be blessed to know Christ's peace and comfort. You will have assurance that you are doing his will as you keep the commandments and exercise your faith in him.

You will counsel and assist those who are struggling, those who do not know the lord, or have forgotten him. You will bring light into their lives. The darkness that has enveloped many will be brightened through your acts of love and service. Listen for the promptings of the Spirit when you need to rescue those with needs or in difficulties. Rescuing is a special gift. It requires the companionship of the Holy Ghost. Therefore, live that the Holy Ghost May prompt you and speak to you. Sometimes impressions will be as though you have been spoken to, directly and verbally, but most often they will be rich, sweet impressions. When you receive these, act. Act, so you can help those who are struggling spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

I promise you that you will have the privilege of a temple marriage. Prepare for that blessing. You will know, through prayer and righteous living, that your choice of husband is right. You will receive confirmation through the Holy Ghost.

I bless you that you will be a mother. Your children will be tutored and directed in love. Use your gifts to help them. Your husband will support you in your callings and responsibilities. Provide that same support to him.

The priesthood's power will bless your home. Never be reluctant to exercise your faith in the priesthood. Call for blessings and you will see the hand of the lord. You will witness miracles for you and your children. Have faith in the power of the priesthood, and miracles will ever be present.

I bless you that your testimony will be strong. Acquire knowledge and wisdom through earnest study and prayer. Feast, and you will be constantly satisfied. The spirit will burn within you as you bear testimony of Christ and his atonement. Rejoice as your burdens are lifted and trials are eased, through Christ's atonement.

Your time on earth will be long so you can give service and help in the building of the church. You will see marvelous events transpire during your life, *****. You will see the majesty of Christ's Church rolling forth to bless people throughout the world. You will see more and more temples being built. You will be involved in temple work. Always be found where the church is established so that you can make contributions and be strengthened by others. You will be an example to church members and seekers of truth. You will have peace and happiness.

You will be blessed in your schooling and your desires to improve through education. Equip yourself with the skills that will be necessary to meet the challenges of your time. The lord will help you. Ask. Listen. You will be guided.

I promise you that, through your faithfulness, you will come forth in the morning of the first resurrection. You will be with the righteous. You will be with your family. You will be received back into the presence of your father in Heaven and the savior. These blessings I seal upon you in the name of Jesus Christ amen.
