As a patriarch holding the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood, I place my hands upon your head, and give you your patriarchal blessing as directed by the Holy Ghost.

*****, Heavenly Father and the Savior are pleased that you made the decision to join Their Church here on the earth. They love you very much. As you left Their presence you received a blessing. That blessing came from Heavenly Father. It was one that promised you that you would be able to join Their Church. You would also be able to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, and that you would be directed in your life by that Holy Spirit. Heavenly Father and the Savior expect great things of you. That you would receive the Melchizedek Priesthood and be called to serve. As you serve, you will be acting for and in behalf of Heavenly Father and the Savior. You will bless those with whom you work, by virtue of that holy priesthood which you hold both as an Aaronic Priesthood bearer, and as a Melchizedek Priesthood bearer.

*****, you are of the house of Ephraim. Ephraim has been called and set apart, to teach and preach the gospel across the face of the earth, in preparation for the return of the Savior. You will be a part of that work. You will receive a call to serve a mission. You will bear your testimony with power and conviction to those people with whom you come in contact. They will feel the Spirit emulate through that testimony, and through that Spirit, they will desire to be a part of Heavenly Father's and the Savior's Church here on earth. They will become active and productive members because of your service. Your blessings will come through the Holy Ghost, and through the house of Ephraim.

*****, as you are called to serve others, using the Melchizedek Priesthood, you have the gift to heal them, through your faith and through their faith. Whatever they need to have come into their lives to be closer to Heavenly Father, they will receive in righteousness. As you use that power of faith and the power of the Priesthood, you will become a valiant servant in Heavenly Father's Kingdom.

Eventually, you will find a young woman that you will take to the temple to be sealed for time and eternity. You will start a new eternal family, and you will use your priesthood to bless her and your children. You will use that priesthood to become the person Heavenly Father wants you to be, and the person you wanted to be when you left His presence.

*****, you have some special gifts. You have the gift to be able to think things through and understand them. You have the gift of understanding, you also have the gift to be able to communicate, and as you use these gifts, you will be able to bear your testimony with honor and humility. You can obtain other gifts, which are many as indicated in the scriptures, as you desire and need them. As you are called to leadership positions in the Church, you will use your priesthood to officiate, counsel, and be supportive of those in your care. As you do this you will be honoring the priesthood which you hold.

*****, the adversary is real. He desires to destroy you and each of us. He cannot destroy you unless you allow him to. As you trust Heavenly Father and go to Him in prayer, as you listen to the whisperings of the Spirit and act positively on them, be able to bind Satan. The media and other things of the world will not be able to tempt you beyond your ability to withstand, and you will be an honorable priesthood bearer all the days of your life.

Remember always that all blessings you receive from Heavenly Father are dependent upon your faithfulness, your willingness to honor the covenants you make, your willingness to use your Priesthood in the service of others, and your willingness to reach out and help those that need your help.

*****, as you visit with your parents about your membership in the Church, remember that the Holy Spirit will communicate from you to them. Trust that Spirit. Trust the Spirit in all your doings, and you will be able to influence your family and friends positively, and you will become a valiant servant and worthy husband and father. Recognize at all times the importance of the family, and you will have the opportunity to search out your ancestors, and see that that work is done for them in the temple. As you do this you will become a Savior on Mt. Zion. Always remember, that as you complete your life here in worthiness, righteousness, and in honor, Heavenly Father will bless you with the greatest of all His gifts, the gift of eternal life, and the opportunity to live with Them in the celestial Kingdom throughout eternity.

I seal this blessing upon you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
