*****, in the name of Jesus Christ and through the authority of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood, acting in the office of an ordained Patriarch in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I place my hands upon your head to pronounce your Patriarchal Blessing, as you have requested.

*****, our Father in Heaven is aware of you, and knows you and loves you. He has known you since the days of the Preexistence, and looks upon you as one of His choice daughters. He is pleased at the things that you have chosen to do with your life at this point, namely to join the Church and be active in it.

In the Preexistence, because of choices you made there, you were privileged in this life to come through the loins of Ephraim. Ephraim was the chosen lineage, not because he was better than anyone else, but because he and his posterity are to wear out their lives in service of others, in preparing the world for the second coming of the Savior. I bless you with the desire to learn of Ephraim and to learn of his promises and his responsibilities and expectations.

Our Father in Heaven is aware of you and your hopes and your plans and you desires. I bless you that will be able to have the desire to stay firm in the Church, to follow the counsel and the teachings of the Prophets, and those wk. Remember that because you have just recently joined the Church, that Satan desires to cause you to depart therefrom, and he knows your strengths and he knows your weaknesses. At all times he attacks us in our weakest point. He would attempt to use doubt and despair and discouragement and temptations and stumbling blocks of all kinds, because those are his, and he will try to get you to do those things which are not pleasing in the sight of the Lord, and to lose faith in those things which you know to be true. I bless you with the power and strength to recognize all of these things for what they are, and to be able to tell Satan to depart from your presence, and the Lord will bless you that you will indeed be able to stay on the straight and narrow path.

I bless you with the continued desire to become a mother in Zion, to be married, and remember that the best place for any of us to be married is the House of the Lord, whee we can make those covenants and commitments that will seal us together for time and all eternity, because that is the Lord's plan. Remember that when He blesses your home with little children, that these little physical bodies house a full-grown spirit that has grown up in the Preexistence over many thousands of years, and is placed in a little tiny body to begin again, without the knowledge and understanding that we need to return to our Father in Heaven. He loves them dearly and places them in your home on loan, for us to teach and train and love, and walk beside, and help them to do and to be what they need to do and be in order to return unto Him. Respect them for who they are, indeed Children of our Father in Heaven.

I bless you to know that there will be callings in the Church that will come your way, as you prepare yourself to serve through study and prayer and faith you will be asked to fulfill callings of responsibility, sometimes as a follower and support person, and other times as the leader and the one who needs to make the final decision. Counsel always with those with whom you work, and counsel with our Father in Heaven is always as close as prayer, and we need to approach Him daily, and sometimes many time during the day, that we may resolve problems which we face, that we will know the decisions which are best to make.

I bless you that as you gain in your knowledge and understanding of the Gospel, that you will have a desire to share those things that are close to your heart with others, and you can be an influence for good in their lives. I bless you to know, that as a pioneer in the Church in your family, that there are those of your loved ones who have gone on to the next life without the knowledge of the Gospel, and you hold he keys to opening the doors for them that they can progress. I bless you with the desire to prepare to go to the Temple to receive your own endowment, but after that to go to the Temple to do vicarious ordinances for those who have died, and you will be received on the other side of the veiled with great happiness and joy and thanks for the things which you have done in their behalf.

All blessings that you desire are yours to claim through your faithfulness, and if you are willing to pay the price, the practice or the effort of the exercise, whatever it takes to achieve that blessing, that they can be yours.
