*****, in the name of Jesus Christ and by the authority I hold as a Patriarch in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I place my hands upon your head and give you a Patriarchal blessing. This blessing is to be held sacred by you and it is personal. You may treat it even as scripture. Refer to it often and pray to Our Father in Heaven that the Holy Ghost will help you as this blessing will point out possibilities that await you. In times when questions need answers, and challenges need solutions, and also in time of opportunities, refer to this blessing. It will also serve as a guidepost and ensign.

You are of the House of Israel and the Tribe of Ephraim. This is a choice lineage.

I bless you to remember that all blessings are predicated on obedience to the commandments of the Lord.

The blessings for obedience are those promised to Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and Joseph to Ephraim and then to you.

You are a choice son of our Father in Heaven. It is no accident that you have come to earth, at this time, to help the Lord to build up His kingdom and to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of mankind.

I bless you, as the Lord calls upon you, to have courage and strength and faith to go and do the things He commands and asks of you for He will ask nothing except He prepare a way for you to accomplish the things He asks of you.

I bless you to refrain from murmuring and you will be exceedingly blessed in serving the Lord.

All blessings come from the Lord, and He has been merciful to you as you have been born of righteous parents who love and respect you.

I bless you to remember your heritage, and all of those who have sacrificed, in righteousness, to give you opportunities that await you in this life.

I bless you to beware of the temptor's power and remain on the straight and narrow way that leads to happiness and joy and eternal life.

I bless you with the health and strength and courage to walk uprightly before Him and obey his commandments.

The Lord knows you and is cognizant of your challenges and temptations placed before you. He is pleased with your progress. Though there have been troublesome thoughts and unanswered questions, these will diminish in time and I bless you with peace and comfort through your faith and knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You will receive great joy in serving the Lord.

I bless you with the spirit of Elias and that you will bring many souls into His church. You will receive blessings for your righteous efforts, and many will call you blessed for your teaching them the Gospel of Christ. No righteous efforts will even go unrewarded.

I bless you, as you desire further education, that it will be granted to you. Study and learn whereby it will be a means for you to care for your future family.

I bless you to not want for the necessities of life.

I bless you, in proper time, to meet that young lady of your choice, with the same righteous goals. Be cautious in your actions and choice of a mate, as you are blessed to take her to the House of the Lord and there you will be united for time and all eternity. You will take upon yourselves higher covenants and laws and responsibilities and thereby receive greater blessings and happiness. Through your faithfulness and diligence, you will go through the eternities, together, and inherit eternal life.

I bless you to teach your children, as you have been taught in righteousness, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as taught by your parents and others.

I bless you that your understanding of the scriptures will increase. Your knowledge will expand from the scriptures and other good books, and you will be helped in your communication with people.

I bless you to have a listening ear to your church leaders and others as you are taught righteous works. As responsibilities are given to you, in His church, you will be ready and prepared for them.

I bless you to be successful in your social and civic activities. You will be known as a righteous person. Remember that obedience to laws brings blessings.

I bless you with good health and strength and energy to accomplish your life's mission.

I bless you with the spirit of Elijah. Remember to bless those who have preceded you that still need your assistance and labors. This is one of the greatest responsibilities placed upon this generation, which is, to seek after their dead.

I bless you to receive higher education, if that be your desire, and to strive for excellence in this goal.

I bless you to come forth in the first resurrection of the just and therein inherit eternal life and happiness with your wife and family and others who have preceded you that have inherited eternal life.

I bless you to display love and kindness and patience and tolerance toward your family and future family and to others who seek your help in righteousness. These acts will return to you many fold.

Some blessings are carried over to the eternities if not fulfilled in mortality. There are blessings that are unspoken that will come to you and you will know of them. Be grateful as they come from the Lord who is merciful to His children. He loves you and knows you. Have courage. These blessings I pronounce and seal them upon your head in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
