Sister Sarah, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by virtue of the Holy Priesthood, I lay my hands upon thy head and give unto thee a Patriarchal Blessing and say that thy art a daughter of Joseph, which was sold into Egypt, through the loins of his son Ephraim, and thou art one of those noble and valiant spirits that kept thy first estate and was obedient to thy Heavenly Parents and was in that glorious assembly when the sons of God shouted for joy, and through thy obedience thou hast the privilege of coming down through that Holy lineage of Priesthood and taking upon thee a body, which entitles thee dear sister to the blessings promised to the daughters of Abraham and through rendering obedience to the Gospel entitles thee to the blessings of a numerous posterity, for this blessing was promised to Abraham and his seed throughout future generations and inasmuch as thou hast been blessed and brought into the fold of Christ, and been gathered up unto the land of Zion, if thou wilt be faithful before the Lord these blessings will rest upon thee throughout all eternity to come. For the Lord will not withhold any blessings from his children which would deprive them to the blessings of Celestial Glory. Therefore, thou shalt be blessed with a true companion, thou shalt be blessed with posterity and live long upon the Earth to do good for the cause and kingdom.

Now I bless thee dear sister, that thy body may be healthy and every member thereof that thou may have power to fulfill every design of thy being here in thy probation and even have power to live until thou art satisfied with life. I bless thee that thou may become useful in society and have mighty faith to enjoy the gifts and blessings of the Holy Ghost even that glorious gift of discernment and that faith which rested upon the good sisters of old, that thou might have power to call down blessings from the heavens, upon thy own person and upon many of those of thy sex. I also bless thee that thou might enjoy that glorious gift of healing also that thou might call down blessings in time of need, both in thine own family and in the families of the Saints.

I also bless thee that thou may perform a labor in the temples of the Lord, for many of those of thy ancestry of thy father's house for many generations back, for I say there is a host waiting for thee and thy heirs, that the ordinances of the Gospel may be officiated for them in the temples in the land of Zion.

I bless thee that the Lord may give unto thee means and every ability to perform this glorious labor, for I promise thee it will give thee greater joy than anything thou hast realized in thy past life, that thou may have power to gather up genealogies, and I promise thee if thou art faithful that they will come even if it has to be through the administration of Holy Beings. Now I bless thee dear sister with the comforts and blessings of the Earth and say that the Lord will open up thy way in the future that it will be wonderful and miraculous for thou art one of his chosen ones and thy name shall be written in the Lambs Book of Life. And I promise thee in the name of the Lord, if thou wilt be faithful that there is no power on earth or beneath that shall deprive thee of these blessings for thou art of the blood of Israel.

These blessings I seal upon thee, also that thy might have power to come forth in the morning of the first Resurrection and become a queen and have power to go on to thy exaltation and receive the blessings of Celestial Glory. These blessings I seal upon thee through my office and calling in the Holy Priesthood and in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
