Beloved Brother Quince. Agreeable to the desire of thy heart and in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I have placed my hands upon thy head and seal upon thee a Patriarchal and a Father's blessing. Behold I say unto thee fear not, for the Lord has heard thy petitions and has preserved thy life that thou mightest do a great and good work in thy day and generation, and to perpetuate the name of thy kindred. Thy name shall go down with honor unto the latest generation and thou shalt stand in thy lot and place in thy Father's and Mother's house. Behold, they have made many sacrifices, and great promises have been made unto them that of their increase there should be no end. It is thy calling to labor as a Savior unto many of thy kindred that have passed away. Holy Angels will yet administer in thy behalf. They have watched over thee in thine infantile moments and thy guardian angel will never forsake thee.

Listen strictly to the still small voice, and it shall be as a lamp unto thy feet, and thou shalt have influence and power to do much good. Fear not. Reprove the wayward and let the solemnities of this great and glorious work predominate in thy heart. These words are given thee to be a comfort unto thee with a promise through thy obedience that thou shalt attain unto a celestial crown, and let this day be unto thee never to be forgotten. Thou shalt have power to rebuke the enemy and thou shalt not be tempted beyond that which you can bear.

Beloved brother, call upon the Lord in secret every day of thy life, and thy children, and thy children's children shall rise up and call thee blessed, for thou art entitled to a fullness of the Holy Priesthood. The fullness thereof shall be conferred upon thee in due time. Thou art through the loins of Ephraim and I seal upon thy head the blessings of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Thou shalt be remembered and blessed with every comfort and blessing which shall be for the honor and glory of God. The poor and needy shall honor thy name. I seal upon thee the spirit of prophecy and revelation and say unto thee be of good cheer for thy life shall be prolonged, and shall become mighty as a counselor in Israel.

Behold, there is a mansion prepared for thee in the Eternal World for thy faithfulness and thine associations there shall be with the Prophet Joseph Smith and his Brethren who have been instruments in carrying forth the gospel unto the inhabitants of the Earth, and shall be prepared through humility to do a great work. I seal all these blessings upon thy head with all thy former blessings and with every blessing thy heart can desire in righteousness, by the authority of the Holy Priesthood and in the name of Jesus Christ.
