Brother *****,

In the name of Jesus Christ and by the authority of the holy Melchizedek Priesthood, I lay my hands upon your head this day and give you a patriarchal blessing. You must realize ***** that your blessing will be from the Lord. It will be of benefit to you throughout your life if you will live worthy and do the things the Lord would have you do, and you will know the things you should do as you are guided by the Spirit.

You have been blessed abundantly by the Lord. He has given you a beautiful strong body, a sweet spirit, a pleasing personality and a very keen mind. Truly, the Lord has blessed you abundantly and he will continue to bless and uphold you in all you do in righteousness.

*****, you are of the House of Israel even of the seed of Ephraim, and as Ephraim is being called to bless and bring others of Scattered Israel together from the far quarters of the earth, so you are called and will play an important part in doing this. You will have the opportunity of traveling thousands of miles in doing the work of the Lord. You will help to spread the gospel and those that are honest in heart will have the opportunity to hear, even from your lips, the truthfulness of the gospel and the things that are important in their lives. You will teach with authority and there are those that will hear your voice and know the things you speak are true as they are touched by the Spirit.

You will realize the great blessings that are coming to us in these days with the new inventions and you will help in the research and even with the inventions. You will learn the technologies of the day and you will use this knowledge for the development of many things. You must realize that truly we are living in the days of enlightenment and this enlightenment comes from the Lord. You will be inspired to do those things that are right and best and you will help your fellow man in many ways.

You will not be selfish. Any amount of selfishness you may have at this time will be taken from you and you will be very generous with the things with which the Lord will bless you. Truly, he will bless you with an abundance as you walk uprightly before him, keeping the commandments, paying an honest tithing and being generous with your offerings. You will be an example of a true Latter-day Saint.

You will honor the authorities of the church and will even sit in counsel with the brethren. Your ideas will be brought forth and your inspiration will come from the Lord. The Holy Ghost will be a constant companion of yours as truly as you pray for guidance and then listen to the promptings of the Spirit as they come. You will preside in wards and stakes and you will have much joy in seeing the work of the Lord going forth throughout the world. The Lord will make you equal to every task that you are called upon to do.

You will have the opportunity of taking one of the beautiful daughters of Israel to the Holy Temple of the Lord and there be sealed for time and all eternity. Great blessings will come to you as children are born in the new and everlasting covenant and you will teach and train them in righteousness and they will be a dear part of your life. Truly, you will have joy in your posterity.

You will never cease learning all the days of your life and you will be able to put into practice the things you learn and will help many people. You will know of the physical elements on the earth. You will also know of the Spiritual elements that exist and how the two fit together. You will enjoy the things that are of most importance in this life.

You will return many times to the temple and there do an unselfish work for those who have gone on before. You will also direct some to the temples of the Lord that they may receive of this great endowment that will be yours and all those who attend the temple. Truly, you will help many people in their lives. You must remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy and you must remember all the commandments of God and walk in his paths. You will teach many people to believe in Christ and of the great sacrifice that he has made for all of us. You will help many to understand more clearly the things that need to be done in these the latter days.

Brother *****, you will come forth and be one of those who will meet the Savior at his coming, be it in this life or arise from the grave, and this will be your calling. You must realize that all the blessings you receive, that are right and true, will come from your Father in Heaven. All these things I declare unto you as a patriarch in the church, but all according to your faithfulness and I do it in the name of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, Amen.
