***** as an ordained patriarch in the House of Israel and in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I lay my hands upon your head and pronounce upon you your patriarchal blessing as the Spirit shall direct.

Sister ***** your Father in Heaven has always been watching over you. He has watched over you from the very beginning to make sure that the labor of the kingdom be assigned to you, in a sense, for the burden that will be placed upon you will be a unique burden.

It will be your responsibility of making sure that you perfect yourself to the point where you can return home to live with Him. When that burden is met He will continue to add upon you. You will then accept the burden and responsibility of making sure that those children who will be sent into your home also know and receive the blessings of the Gospel of Eternity. The responsibility of motherhood must be the most important thing in your life. To first receive salvation through the atonement of Christ in your personal life and then make sure that salvation is brought into the lives of the children you will bear and bring into this life.

Mortality is a foreign land, it is a strange place, it is a place that was made not to be as Heaven is, but only in the form of eternity. It was made so that you might come here and learn how to become like your Father in Heaven by overcoming the world. In as much as there is opposition in all things it is necessary that you learn what you are up against. The Lord has sent prophets into the world that they might teach you. He has given you parents who have laid a firm foundation for your spiritual education. As you listen to the counsel that will come from both the living prophets and your parents you will know the specifics of what you must do to overcome the world.

There are great things for you to do. There is a foundation that must continue to be laid in preparation for the Lord's second coming; you have part in that work. You are part of the plan of our Father in Heaven. You have been called to make sure that as you labor in the Kingdom of God that you prepare yourself and the kingdom for the Lord's second coming.

These latter days are days of struggle and trial, but they are also days of joy. For in the evilness of this place, or the world, there is joy to be experienced. Do not be discouraged by how the world is moving forward, but prepare yourself and you will find joy. There is great joy to be had, but do not let yourself become discouraged as time goes on by what is going on around you, but create a world within your own life, even your home, where the Spirit can dwell, where eternity can be understood. That will be a burden that you must bear to know that the world is as it is, and that you will have to send your children into that world, that they too might work out their salvation in fear and trembling. But you will lay for them the spiritual educational framework that will allow them to be able to experience mortality and not be overcome by it.

You will see the fulfillment of prophecy in your lifetime. You will see great things occur within the Kingdom of God, even as the world around you begins to embrace the things of evil. You will be a light in that dark world, and in that darkness your light will shine, and it will light the hearts of many. You will be a beacon in this world of darkness. You have been called to be so and you must perform your duties and make sure that your life is full of light.

You will be blessed in this life, for you will share in the blessings of Israel through Ephraim, and will receive the blessings of exaltation and eternal life which were promised to father Abraham and to his posterity, that all of the nations of the earth would be blessed through the priesthood, the power of which you will be blessed to experience in your life. As a leader within this church, as you serve in Relief Society presidencies and other presidencies, you will have the right to bear the power that goes along with the priesthood as you serve under its direction.

I bless you with wisdom to understand all things, to know what your Father in Heaven desires of you, what He wants you to become. There is greatness within you as a daughter of God. Never forget who and what you are, and you will have joy in this life and eternal life in the world to come, even worlds without end.

These blessings are yours. Be faithful, accept them, know what your duties are, and trust in the teachings of the prophets who have been set up as watchmen on the towers. They will warn you of evil and they will help you in your defense. This blessing I bestow upon your head, with a reminder that your kindred dead look to you for the saving ordinances of the Gospel. There were promises made before the world was, you must fulfill those promises, and bring the saving ordinances into their lives, that you might become a Savior on Mount Zion. Your efforts will be appreciated and the Lord will bless you for your service.

This blessing I pronounce upon your head, and do so in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
