1844-07-01 The destroyer shall not trouble thine house. 1844-11-18 The gates of Hell shall not prevail against you. 1845-06-09 Thou shalt be enabled to fight the Lord's battles against all unrighteousness of men and the Lord will furnish thee out of his treasury and thou shalt be blessed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit so that the aliens and gainsayers shall not be enabled to stand before thee. 1845-07-19 Thou shalt become mighty in the truth in pulling down of the strongholds of sin and Satan and be a builder up of the little flock in truth and righteousness. 1845-08-26 Thou shall be a putter-down of the strongholds of sin and Satan, and a builder-up of the Little Flock in righteousness. 1845-10-24 Thou shall have power to drive the destroyer from thy dwelling. 1846-01-14 Although Satan has desired to have thee, and has sought many times to destroy thee, yet he has been baffled in his attempts, and he shall never prevail against thee. The destroyer shall pass thy dwelling and health and peace shall abide therein. 1874-02-05 The Lord has suffered Satan to afflict thee almost like his servant Job to prove thine integrity the honesty and sincerity of thine heart. But out of all these troubles and from the power of Satan he will deliver thee. 1874-07-28 Satan has laid many plans to destroy thee, but thy guardian angels have delivered thee out of his power. They will continue to deliver thee until the fullness of thy work is accomplished upon the earth. 1876-05-07 Satan hath had a desire to slay thee! But God, thy Heavenly Father, has preserved thee. And I say by virtue of the Holy Priesthood, that thy health shall begin to amend, for the Holy Ghost shall come into thy body and be in thy body from the crown of thy head to the soles of thy feet. 1876-09-24 And thou wilt not be apt to be deceived by the evil influences that are from beneath. 1879-01-23 You shall be lifted above those that may seek to destroy you. You shall have power over the adversary. 1880-07-20 Thou shalt help to break down the strong hold of Babylon by strong reasoning, for thou shalt become like the pen of a ready writer. 1885-05-15 I seal upon thy head power to shun the path of evil. 1887-10-26 No power on earth nor in hell will ever be able to overthrow thee. 1888-11-28 I pray my Father that thou mayest be preserved, that no evil power, no seducing spirit of any kind, name or nature, may draw thee aside from the love of truth. And they will not, brother, because of the integrity of thy heart, and for the prevailing spirit, which is of the noble of heaven. 1891-12-21 Power shall be given thee over evil spirits. 1894-12-16 The destroyer shall be rebuked! He will not have power over thee though Earth and Hell shall rage; for thy eyes shall sparkle as living diamonds, that every power within its grasp shall fall before thee. 1895-04-17 Thou shalt carry the gospel to foreign lands, and thy labors shall be blessed; Thou shalt return in honor to thy family, and the Destroyer shall not have power over them during thy absence. 1896-01-16 Be patient in tribulation, and murmur not, neither faint, and the Lord your Redeemer will give you power to triumph over all the powers of Satan, and you shall come off conqueror, and rejoice with exceeding great joy. 1897-10-31 I pray that thou mayest be preserved from the powers of the adversary and the snares laid to entrap thee. 1897-11-12 The Lord shall give thee inspiration to guide thee that thou shalt make no mistakes, that thou be not deceived that thou be not over persuaded and entrapped by the evil one. 1898-04-08 You shall have power to rebuke diseases and the influence of evil spirits from your habitation and from your offspring. 1898-12-30 I bless thee with the gift of faith, wisdom, revelation and the spirit of discernment. Through exercise of those gifts you may have power to rebuke Satan. 1899-06-08 I ask God the Eternal Father to give thy angel special charge concerning thee to go with thee through the Journey of Life to protect thee from the evils of the world, and the power of the destroyer. 1899-08-21 Let thy heart be comforted, and fear not the powers of darkness, for thou shalt have power over all evil spirits that come in thy way, and they shall have no power to tempt thee more than thou canst bear. And I seal thee up against the power of the devil, and he shall not lead thee from the Church of Jesus Christ. 1900-08-28 I seal thee up against the temptations of the evil one. 1900-09-16 Through the inspirations of the Holy Spirit and in dreams at night in your chamber you shall receive understanding and through its gifts shall be enabled to wrest from the Powers of Darkness and the destroyer the souls of the children of men. 1900-12-05 You shall be one of the wise that shall enter into the marriage supper of the Lamb, before the door is closed against the power of Lucifer, and he shall not have power over thy body to lead thee to sin. 1901-03-17 Thy adversary will strive in his might to hinder thee in the accomplishment of thy life's mission and in many ways seek to tempt thee and put stumbling blocks in thy pathway. But the Lord will ever be attentive to thy humble supplications and will answer thy petitions in blessings upon thee and thine, and the Adversary shall not prevail against thee, for thou shalt have strength to stand firm and steadfast in the Lord's cause unto the end of thy days. 1901-05-14 You will have power over the enemies of truth. 1902-02-28 The Lord has preserved thee from the hands of the Destroyer and from many accidents and from the evils of this world. 1902-03-17 Thou shalt have faith to cast out evil spirits. 1902-07-01 Evil persons and wicked spirits shall have no power over you, and thou shalt have power to rebuke them and they shall flee from you. 1902-07-25 I seal you up against the evil one with a knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with God and angels to protect you. 1902-09-08 Thou shalt have power to rebuke the enemy and thou shalt not be tempted beyond that which you can bear. 1910-07-03 The power of the destroyer shall be rebuked for your sake for through prayer and faith you shall overcome every assault made by him. 1918-03-05 Honor the Holy Priesthood, for it is a power in thy hands against the designs of the adversary. 1920-07-02 Thy life has been spared through an unseen power for Satan has sought to destroy you in your youthful moments. Thou hast been nigh unto death's door and knew it not but our Father has preserved you. 1920-08-01 The destroyer will not have power over you. 1922-09-08 I rebuke by the authority of the Holy Priesthood the power of the destroyer, and I seal you up against this power till the day of redemption. 1923-07-20 I seal you up by the authority vested in me as a Patriarch against the power of the Adversary and ask that you may not be tempted over and above that which you are able to bear. 1924-01-27 I seal you up against the powers of the destroyer. 1926-11-22 In the end you may come forth fully satisfied with the justice of the Lord to you for overcoming the forces of opposition in earth life. 1927-01-02 The destroyer shall not have power over you until your life's mission is completed. 1927-12-18 Seek the Lord at all times and he will guide and direct you in the way of truth and righteousness and you will not be confounded by the power of evil, but will be enabled by your faithfulness and righteousness to overcome all things. 1929-02-04 Thou shalt be enabled to overcome the tempter. Satan shall endeavor to shake thy faith and to lead thee into and by forbidden paths, but thy body shall be strong. 1930-08-27 I seal you up against the powers of the destroyer even unto the day of redemption and bless you that your last days in the earth shall be your best days. 1931-01-24 The Lord shall direct thy course in life and shall stretch forth his hand and save thee from the hands of the destroyer and raise thee up at the last day. 1932-04-26 Many obstacles shall be placed in your way and the adversary will seek to discourage and destroy you; but because of your implicit faith and trust in the Lord, you shall overcome these obstacles. I seal you up against the power of the destroyer, that his efforts to destroy you or to hinder your progress shall be thwarted 1932-09-24 The Lord will hear and answer your prayers and give you strength to resist evil. I seal you up against the powers of darkness and against the adversity that you may never be overcome. 1934-05-15 The destroyer shall not have power to take thy life until thou has finished thy work. 1936-06-23 Satan is striving to lead astray all those that he can reach. By inspiration you shall be able to detect evil and will be able to thwart the designs of the wicked and conspiring men and women, because there are wicked men and women in the earth laboring for Lucifer and striving to tear down the work of the Lord. 1937-10-03 There have been times in your life when you have felt a rebellious spirit, but through the teachings that were given unto you in your youth, they have helped you to overcome that feeling. 1938-07-07 You will be given strength to overcome evil and temptation and live above the besetting sins of the world. 1939-05-14 I pray the Lord to bless you to have power to overcome temptation. 1939-07-02 I seal upon you power to resist the evils of your day for many of these evils will come among this people and the Evil One desires to lead away the choice daughters of Israel, to lead them into temptation and unto the evil, but you shall have power to resist these temptations and stand clean and pure before the Lord continually, and your body will be a fit receptacle for the Holy Spirit of the Lord to dwell in. 1940-04-15 Through prayer you'll have power and strength to keep yourself out from the Evil Spirit that is working among the children of men because He will try to tempt you in your future life maybe harder than in the past. If it is possible for him to get you to deny the very existence of God. Brother don't suffer yourself down in spirit but look up into the future with hope and trust to the Lord and He will sustain you so the evil one won't have power to harm you. 1940-04-26 I seal you up against the power of the adversary. 1941-08-03 I would have thee to know also that there is a power upon this earth that is seeking continuously to destroy the works of God and to entice and bring down to his level the souls of the very faithful of God. Therefore pray that thou mayst have the gift of discernment to know the various influences which thou mayst come in contact with and through thy righteousness exercise wisdom to choose the right course of life under all circumstances and if thou art strong and unyielding the evil one will cease to tempt thee. 1942-08-16 Especially keep yourself free from that rebellious spirit which Satan places in our hearts making us feel that we want to be a law unto ourselves and not subject unto the law of God, neither the laws of man. 1943-05-02 If you will continue to pray and to draw near unto the Lord in your youth, Satan will not have power to lead you astray. 1943-09-09 You shall see the powers of Satan crushed. 1951-06-15 I bless you with the power of discernment that you may always be in a position to solve your problems and to thwart the evil designs of those who would do you harm. 1951-06-15 If you will be humble and prayerful, the spirit of the Lord shall be a close companion unto you and lead you into all truth that you may have strength and power to withstand the temptations of the Evil One and to say when you are tempted, 'Get thee behind me.' 1951-08-08 I bless you that you may have power to overcome the temptings of the adversary. He shall tempt you in many ways and in many forms, but evil comes from the devil and good from the Lord. You may always know the source whether it is good or evil, by that measure. 1952-06-01 The Lord will be right there in your time of trial and temptation to give you strength as soon as you make resolute effort to resist evil. 1953-03-30 Search the scriptures and build up an abundant amount of knowledge that you will be able to confound the wise and wickedness shall flee before you and the adversary shall not make inroads upon you. I bless you with the spirit of discernment that you shall discern the signs of the times and shall be able to repel the advances of the adversary. 1954-10-10 Dear Brother I seal your life against the power of the adversary who is aware of your fore-ordained mission and you may know that you do not have to wait until the days of the Millennium to bind the hands of the evil against you. Through your power as an Elder in Israel as you exercise your priesthood in worthiness and in righteousness you have greater power than that of evil for the only power that Satan can bring against you is that of tempting. And only those who permit their lives to become weakened are the ones who are led astray. 1956-06-08 May you have the ability to choose values and the strength to withstand the temptations of Lucifer who is always present with his cunning devices and inducements to deceive and mislead. 1957-08-07 I bless you that Satan shall not have power to destroy your good works; that you may be able to overcome all evil, and perform your life's labors. 1957-11-03 I bless you that you will have power to overcome the temptations which may present themselves from time to time. 1957-11-29 The evil one will try to lead you astray. Pray always and the Lord will hear your prayers and when you are tempted, the Holy Ghost will guard and protect you and the evil one will have no power over you. 1964-12-13 You shall be shielded from the darts of Satan. 1967-09-26 As thou shalt continue to cultivate those gifts and talents and especially cheerfulness, thou shalt be given power to overcome the efforts of the adversary and even thwart his efforts. 1969-05-01 Shun the temptations of the tempter. He will tempt you sorely. Put your faith and trust in the Lord and cleave to the Iron Rod. The evil one is real and he is working energetically, and if you cleave to the Iron Rod the Lord will give you the assistance that you need to overcome the powers of the evil one so that you can return unto your God who has provided you this Second Estate. 1972-03-26 Inasmuch as Satan is anxious to destroy the work of our Heavenly Father, I seal you up that he shall not have power to overcome you but that you shall have the power to resist as temptations come into your life. 1973-05-08 I bless you that you may be able to resist the temptations that come into your life because they will be there and they will be great. Temptations that if allowed to take influence over you could destroy you spiritually. I bless you that you might have the spirit of our Father in Heaven and the strength to withstand these temptations, but the obligation is yours to remove yourself from these influences and avoid them. 1974-10-27 I seal you up against the power of the destroyer. 1976-08-22 I say to you that you will find your life beset with temptation, that the Devil will seek after your soul. You will be tempted with the things of the flesh and also with the desire for riches and you will be tempted to drop your activity in the church. The Devil will seek to discourage you in your activities and I say to you to determine now that you will not let this happen. Pray to the Lord for strength and then the Devil will have no power over you. 1977-08-22 Put your heart and mind to the test, and defeat Satan as his promptings approach you, and you will receive great joy in your heart. 1978-07-05 If you will seek the guidance of the Lord in your daily life and for the welfare of your family, you will have the strength to overcome the adversary that you might walk uprightly before the Lord. 1978-10-15 If you will pray to our Heavenly Father diligently, and will keep Him in mind at all times, whether it be in praying to Him in your closet, as you walk along in those leisurely moments, that you have to pray silently to Him. If you will do this I bless you that the adversary will pass you by and can have no hold upon you. 1979-04-09 Make sure that you do not allow Satan to taint you, to cause you to become in any respect immoral. For Satan is powerful in these days and has great capacity to darken and confuse the minds of men. But those who bear the Lord's Holy Priesthood and understand His Gospel can be lights in that darkness, and you must train yourself to be such a light. 1980-02-10 I bless you with a desire and determination to turn aside the temptations of the adversary, blessing you that your shield of faith shall protect you from the fiery darts of the adversary. These are perilous days. Satan is striving with all his cunning to deceive mankind. 1980-02-24 The snares that have been laid by the adversary to decoy you from the path of truth and right shall be removed and you shall walk in the light of truth as though it were the light of the noonday sun and nothing shall hinder your progress nor your advancement so long as you are engaged in the work of the Lord. 1981-09-06 You will have feelings of spirits that are not desirable, that will try to deter you, and you must have the power of the priesthood to give you the strength you need. 1981-10-11 You will continually gain in strength and righteousness even to where the time will come that for you, Lucifer will be bound. He will have no power to tempt you. 1982-01-28 I bless you with the fortitude to withstand the efforts of the adversary to lead you astray. Through your faithfulness, he will not have power over you, and you will be able to rebuke him when the occasion requires it. 1984-12-01 Lucifer will flee at your bidding. 1986-08-31 Listen for the whisperings of the Holy Ghost that you might receive wisdom and knowledge to thwart any attempts of Satan to lead you astray. 1991-01-15 You will be called upon to cast out evil spirits, you will know how and when to do it. That evil one would like to destroy people in the church. 1992-11-01 Be aware of the great influence of the adversary upon mankind, of its purpose and the concerns in the world today because of these influences. I bless you with power over the adversary and the ability to make correct choices. Satan is real and his influence is great. It may touch your family. 1993-06-20 If you will seek and obtain this great witness and keep it uppermost in your mind on a constant basis, I bless you that Satan shall have no power over you. While he will tempt and try you, this great witness will act as a bulwark and a shield blunting his fiery darts and you shall be able to walk through life unscathed from his wiles and his temptations. 1993-09-19 The Lord will take you by the hand and make a way for your escape and bless you with the discernment and the strength to foil the tempter's power. 1993-09-26 Now dear *****, you are on the path that winds through this world of trial and testing. You have observed that the adversary has carried his rebellion and subtle persuasion into this world. Here he continues to try and win the souls of those who opposed his plan before coming here. So he will seek to entice you from the straight and narrow path upon which you have set your feet. But if you will be humble and prayerful, you will be blessed with the gift of discernment to detect the devious designs of the adversary, both through the actions and persuasions of others, and also in the false precepts that are going forth in this day in such great abundance from high places, as well as from some of your associates. 1994-01-16 Satan will attempt to sway you. He will do this in many and various fashions. I bless you with the ability to recognize these attempts to sway you. You will be able to cast his thoughts and desires out of your life here upon the earth. 1994-06-12 Satan knew you in spirit and he knows you now. No veil was drawn across His mind. He knows your weaknesses and your strengths and so He will tempt you when He can even to the limit of your endurance. Do not be afraid *****. 1994-06-19 Remember, the evil one is real and he desires you to be his. Because of the special association you have had with your Heavenly Parents he has an increased desire to cause you to stumble. Listen to the whispering of that still small voice and you will be guided and directed and warned in advance of difficulties and dangers and be spared many of the problems of the world. 1995-08-06 There are great difficulties and problems in the earth and our Father in His infinite wisdom has reserved to come into the earth those spirits who are special and who are strong and who will resist temptation and evil and who can find out who they are and what they must do in service to Him. 1995-08-18 Be faithful in prayer and Satan can have no power whatsoever upon you. 1995-09-06 I seal you up against the power of the destroyer. 1996-01-21 I bless you with power over the adversary and with the ability to move forward with an eye single to the glory of your Father in Heaven. Through your obedience, faithfulness and willingness to follow counsel, you will avoid the pitfalls into which many of our Father in Heaven's children are succumbing. 1996-02-11 The Adversary is mindful of you. In your hours of prayer and meditation as you seek for understanding and strength, you will conquer the Adversary and the agents who uphold his work. 1996-05-01 I bless you with power against the adversary that you might overcome evil. 1997-05-04 These are dangerous days because Satan has unleashed great power in trying to destroy the Work of the Lord. As with all people He will try to discourage you in your mind and have you think that God does not live. Whenever you feel evil near fall on your knees and humbly ask our Heavenly Father for the protection of the Holy Ghost and you will feel His Power encircle you. 1997-07-13 You were directed by the great Archangel, Michael, in casting Lucifer and his spirits our of the heavens. He warns you that you then and there became an enemy to Lucifer and he is dedicated to your destruction if you leave him room. He has not been given title to destroy you except by your permission. We must be in the world but we need not be part of it. To state it again, you needn't be afraid for Lucifer has power only where you give it. 1997-08-31 By faith you will have the power to overcome the effects of the adversary 1997-11-16 Through love and faithful prayers, you shall overcome all, even the evil one - for in truth, you are a chosen noble warrior of our Lord; He has designs on you, great blessings and accomplishments to be realized. 1998-05-09 Guard yourself that you do not allow any evil to come to you, cast aside those things that are not in keeping with the will of your Father in Heaven and guard yourself that even the appearance of evil should be about you. 1998-05-14 I bless you to beware of the temptor's power and remain on the straight and narrow way that leads to happiness and joy and eternal life. 1998-11-29 Remember there will be temptations. You must be obedient to the covenant you made in order to resist temptation. 1999-10-31 Shun the very appearance of evil. Resist Satan in all of his forms. 1999-11-06 You have been given power and motivation to move against Satan and evil and opposition. 2000-01-24 Satan will put temptations in your path. But I bless you that the Holy Ghost and the Gospel of Jesus Christ will be a shield and protection to you that he will not have power over you. 2000-01-30 Our Heavenly Father will bless you as you seek Him in prayer to overcome the evil forces prevalent throughout the world. 2000-02-02 You will have times of great decisions in your life and the Savior will intervene on your behalf and the power of the destroyer will be thwarted and you will know and understand that the Lord has interceded on your behalf. 2000-12-17 Though there will be temptations you shall have the strength to overcome all of the weaknesses of the flesh and to also avoid high living with an understanding of the need of thrift and self mastery. 2001-06-12 I seal you up against the power of the destroyer. 2001-08-12 I bless you that as you turn your back on Satan, as you seek the face of the Lord, as you humble yourself before Him with a broken heart and a contrite spirit, and in prayer asking forgiveness for your sins and pouring out your thankfulness with all the strength your soul can muster for the many blessings that have enriched your life, Satan will have no power over you. 2002-02-24 You recognize that you live in perilous times, when the Adversary has such a great influence in the world to deceive and mislead. But I bless you that he will not have that power over you. 2002-08-25 Remember that in the last days the great powers of Satan will be loosed upon the children of men and you will be called upon to distinguish the principles and actions of the Gospel and the imitation of righteousness by Satan. 2002-12-18 There might be times when you are tempted to do things that are not right, if you keep yourself spiritually fit, you will recognize these things when they come and will be ready to ward off the adversary and not let him take control of situations. If you are strong enough in the Gospel, you will not be tempted beyond that which you can resist. You can also avoid things that might be unpleasant for you. 2003-01-26 Insulating barriers have been placed between you and Satan that he has not been able to test you beyond your ability to overcome. 2003-07-18 Remember that Satan would influence for evil those who seek to follow the Lord and build up His kingdom, so always be aware that danger lurks in paths that are not in accordance with the principles of the gospel. If you will remember this, you will be protected, you will be able to discern good from evil and be strengthened with resolve to ban evil thoughts and feelings from your mind. 2003-11-17 Your Father in Heaven knew that you would be strong enough to overcome all temptations and do the things He had in mind for you to do. 2004-01-11 I bless you that you will have the strength to live the commandments of God and the power to resist and overcome any temptations or feelings of self doubt which are the tools of the destroyer. 2005-02-13 You will have power to command the adversary to depart from the lives of people. 2005-02-19 You live in mortality when temptation is running rampant, but through the influence of the Holy Spirit you will resist evil temptations and be a good example among your peers in this life. 2005-11-06 Your Father in Heaven has blessed you with the desire to overcome temptation. You will resist Satan and He will flee from you. Do not court Satan, for He will consume you. 2005-12-18 Now, Sister *****, Satan is abroad in the land. He will seek to tempt you and draw you away from your Heavenly Father. But you must put your trust in that Spirit which leads to do good, to do justly, to judge righteously and to walk humbly. This is Heavenly Father's Spirit. If you will do this, you will be led away from every power of evil. 2006-02-12 Satan desires that you not be successful in fulfilling your mission upon the earth and he will place many impediments in your way and try to challenge you. Rest assured that you can withstand his slings and arrows and that he will have no power over you, for he is bound by righteousness. 2006-04-23 You have been faithful in your youth and have overcome the temptations of the world. I bless you that the Holy Spirit may continue to guide you and help you to avoid the snares that the adversary will put in your path. 2006-09-15 Satan rages trying to claim you. Others who have not been faithful he already claims. The work he has appointed for himself is to claim you if he can. Remember your scriptures every day, your daily prayers. You will be strengthened so he will not have power over you. 2006-12-06 Now know that it is necessary to use your time in righteousness, to overcome the temptations of the adversary, to overcome the meaningless things of the world. 2007-08-16 Because of your wonderful talent and capacity, Satan would like to discourage you and halt your progress. But you must never fear evil. 2008-04-20 The adversary is real. He desires to destroy you and each of us. He cannot destroy you unless you allow him to. As you trust Heavenly Father and go to Him in prayer, as you listen to the whisperings of the Spirit and act positively on them, be able to bind Satan. 2009-07-19 I promise you that the temptations of the Adversary, and the influences of that side, will never make an inroad into your life. 2010-02-21 The adversary is mindful of your righteous desires, and of your commitment to be found worthy to return into the presence of the Lord. He will strive to thwart your eternal progress. Through the Gift of discernment, you are prepared to recognize and discern his cunning temptations and his subtle, negative impressions of doubt, impatience, concern, and discouragement. Through faith, coupled with the power of the priesthood, dismiss him from your presence and he will have no power over you for you are an elect son of God. 2010-02-27 I bless you that Satan will have no power over you for he is bound by personal righteousness and you need not fear him. 2010-08-01 You will have the ability to discern when the adversary will tempt you to lead you away from the church. 2010-09-26 You will have the ability to overcome all challenges. You will be protected from the elements and from Satan's temptings. 2011-03-20 You will use your gift of the Holy Ghost to discern truth from error, to recognize Satan in all his disguises and not be a victim to evil schemes or plans to take you away from the Gospel. 2011-06-26 The adversary will tempt you to take detours off the straight and narrow path, for he desires you to be miserable like unto himself. I bless you with the spiritual strength to resist his temptations and to stay on the path that leads to happiness. 2011-08-21 Now we bless that you will have the ability to recognize the hand of the adversary in all things, and use the priesthood which you shall gain to dismiss him from your presence and be able to overcome him, and not be enticed by his devious methods. We bless you with the ability to cast him from your presence. 2011-09-08 I bless you that you will be protected from the angels of the evil one. You will be able to turn your back on any situation in which you know you should not be involved. You will walk away, and it will have no effect on your life. 2012-11-18 The evil one is reviling against the children of God, for his time is short. The adversary knows who you are, because you were so valiant in the preexistence. The adversary knows of your great strength, your service to the Lord, and that you were with Michael and his angels in the war for the agency of man. Fear not. The evil one will shrink from your presence, and will tremble at your purity and righteousness. 2013-02-24 Without the Priesthood, mankind would fall into the hands of the evil one. Resist Satan and use the God-given power that resides in you to fight him. I bless you with the power to resist evil. 2013-07-09 Satan will strive to divert you from the path that leads back to our Father in Heaven and the blessings that await you. I bless you with the power of discernment to be able to recognize Satan in his many devious and cunning ways and say to you that if you hold to the things you know to be right you will not be deceived. 2014-05-18 I bless you that through your faith you will have the power to resist the sophistries of the adversary and avoid the distractions of the world that would seek to move you away from places of safety. 2014-07-13 Satan is very real and he will attempt to influence you and to put stumbling blocks in your way. Know that his stumbling blocks will not cause you any difficulty whatsoever if you are righteous. In fact, his stumbling will become steppingstones of growth for you that will improve your desire and ability to be strong in living the gospel. 2015-07-31 I bless you that you will use the internet properly to learn and not to be tempted by Satan to do things that would case problems for you. 2015-11-29 The lord will help you to overcome the challenges as you witness negative behavior and interference from those who fight against Christ and his church. 2016-04-05 You will be given strength to shun the adversary, and to flee from evil, and to avoid the distractions of this world. 2016-05-01 As you listen to the counsel that will come from both the living prophets and your parents you will know the specifics of what you must do to overcome the world. 2017-09-24 Beware of Satan who desires that you not fulfill your potential. Always remember that he cannot tempt you beyond that which you cannot overcome. You have the power to rise above any temptations which Satan will place before you. 2017-09-24 Center your life in Christ and you will rise above the lies of the adversary. 2020-03-01 You will be blessed with the power to resist temptations. Blessing #20 God will strengthen you to reach out for success and not be distracted by Satan or his followers who will invite you to be evil. I bless you with the strength to overcome every temptation from Satan and seal you up to return to God Blessing #21 You will be able to withstand the influences of the evil one and deflect the fiery darts of the adversary. Blessing #23 You are blessed to know that Satan will not spend much time with you for he will know through your actions that he is wasting his time. You are blessed to always be strong in the gospel and do those things that you should. Blessing #24 I caution you, my dear brother, that because of your capacity for good, the evil one will use all of his cunning devices to deter you in subtle ways and to lead you away from the path that leads to eternal life. You will readily recognize his evil designs. You will have the spiritual strength to shun evil and to rise above his temptations. Blessing #33 I bless you, as you go forth from this day, to be filled with the power to overcome the obstacles of life that you shall face - to overcome Satan and the temptations and evils of the world. Blessing #6 You will be able to recognize the evil snares and pitfalls that Satan will lay before you, this because of your greatness and your ability and that which you must accomplish. Satan desires your soul and will do all in His power to impede and slow your progress. Blessing #94 You will be able to avoid the temptations of Satan. You will understand and be able to know when those temptations are coming from Satan, and through that inspiration you will know what to say and what to do in order to avoid these temptations. Blessing #49 I leave a blessing upon you against the power of the destroyer: as long as you are in line with your duty and living as you should, no evil power will be able to deceive you or lead you astray. Blessing #74 Remember that because you have just recently joined the Church, that Satan desires to cause you to depart therefrom, and he knows your strengths and he knows your weaknesses. At all times he attacks us in our weakest point. He would attempt to use doubt and despair and discouragement and temptations and stumbling blocks of all kinds, and he will try to get you to do those things which are not pleasing in the sight of the Lord, and to lose faith in those things which you know to be true. I bless you with the power and strength to recognize all of these things for what they are, and to be able to tell Satan to depart from your presence.
