Brother David, in the name of Jesus of Nazareth I lay my hands upon thy head and pronounce and seal the Blessings of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob upon thee and say unto thee be of good faith and of good cheer and let thy heart be comforted. The Lord hath heard thy petition and is pleased with thine integrity. Thou art of the House of Israel and entitled to the blessings of the New and Everlasting Covenant with the gifts and privileges of the priesthood. Thou art of the blood of Joseph through the loins of Ephraim and numbered among the sons of Zion of whom much is expected. Therefore put thy trust in the Lord and thy guardian will not forsake thee but will guide thy footsteps and watch over thee by day and night and converse with thee and give thee counsel in time of need and ward off the shafts of the Adversary which may be hurled at thee and give thee strength in time of trial and warn thee of dangers in time to escape. The destroyer shall pass thy dwelling and health and peace shall abide therein.
Thy posterity shall be numerous like unto the sands of the sea shore for multitude. Thy sons shall be mighty in the priesthood and bear thy name in honourable remembrance from generation to generation. It shall be thy lot to travel much for the gospel sake. Thou shalt confound the wisdom of the wicked and set at naught the counsels of the unjust. Thou shalt counsel wisely among thy brethren. Many shall seek thee for counsel and wonder at thy wisdom. Thou shalt assist in avenging the blood of the saints which was shed by the ungodly and not a hair of thy head shall fall by the lances of the wicked and enemies shall flee before thee as chaff before the wind. Thou shalt be blessed in thy journeyings at home and abroad and if necessary thou shalt command the elements and the waves of the sea shall obey thy voice. Thou shalt be mighty in healing the sick by the laying on of hands. Thy life shall be precious in the eyes of the Lord and thy days and years shall be many. Thou shalt be blessed in thy daily duties and thou shalt be blessed so that thou shalt have of the world's good all which is necessary until thou art satisfied and shall feed many in time of scarcity. Thou shalt see the coming of the Messiah and have joy and rejoicing.
This with all thy former blessings I seal upon thy head and I seal thee up unto eternal life to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection to inherit a kingdom which shall increase for ever, even so Amen.
