Sister *****, in the name of Jesus Christ and by the authority of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood, I lay my hands upon your head in order to give your Patriarchal Blessing. *****, it is a pleasure to be able to participate in this blessing that comes from your Father in Heaven and is intended to be a guideline and source of comfort for you throughout your life. You are a choice daughter of our Father in Heaven. He loves you and wants you to feel that. He is and has been there for you.

You are of the House of Israel. Your lineage is through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, through Joseph and his son Ephraim. I bless you with the blessings of Ephraim; to be fruitful, with accomplishment in your life and with leadership ability.

You are on the strait and narrow path that leads back to the presence of our Father in Heaven. It is important for you to realize that the path back to our Father in Heaven entails a journey that will require a change of course at times in order to stay on the path. Seek the guidance of your Father in Heaven on a regular basis as you evaluate where you are and the changes you need to make in your life in order to stay the course.

Rely on your Father in Heaven through regular prayer. He will answer your prayers in the way that is best for you in His own way and in His own time. With His help you will be able to accomplish the desires of your heart. Avoid self imposed hardships. You have endured hardships that have been imposed, not of your doing, and as a result of these experiences you are better prepared to deal with difficulties that are yet to come. Live your life to have the companionship of the Hold Ghost and you will be directed for good in all things.

Prepare each week to partake of the Sacrament worthily that you might be fully cleansed by the atoning sacrifice of your elder brother Jesus Christ and remember Him as you renew your covenants. Give thanks for what He has done for you and receive the promise to have the Holy Ghost to be your constant companion. Seek, listen for and follow the promptings of the still small voice.

Decide who you want to be. Set your eternal goals that will enable you to become who you want to be. Your accomplishments in life are important, but of far more importance is who you become. We have been given our free agency and are free to choose. The consequences of the choices we make are fixed. Consider the eternal consequences of the choices you make. What the Lord requires of us is our best effort. He will make up for whatever else is needed in order to accomplish His purposes.

Continue to pursue your plan to obtain the education that will enable you to achieve the desires of your heart and to serve your fellowman. You will find joy in your service to others. It is important to look for the opportunity to serve within your family and extended family.

The greatest responsibility you will be given will be that of a 'mother in Zion.' No greater challenge and charge will come than that of bringing up Heavenly Father's children in a righteous home and teaching them the ways of the Lord and inspiring them to follow our elder brother Jesus Christ and to become the best they can be.

The greatest decision that awaits you in accomplishing these goals is the choice of your eternal mate. Look for one who honors his Priesthood and is prepared for the responsibilities of an eternal family and live your life to be worthy of him. Prepare carefully for the blessings of the Temple. There you will receive your endowments, be taught more fully in His ways and will make covenants with Him that will help you in your goal to attain eternal life.

Be grateful for the blessings you have received and express your gratitude to your Father in Heaven and your extended family who have helped you along the way. You can become who you choose to be. Continue your preparation by regular scripture study, particularly the Book of Mormon, a lifetime pursuit. Be prayerful in all you do. The triad for your success will be scripture study, regular prayer and service to your fellow man. These will inspire you to keep all the commandments all the time and to receive the blessings that come in no other way.

Live the word of wisdom in its fullness and you will be blessed both physically and spiritually. Live the law of chastity. Attend your meetings on a regular basis. Look for the opportunity to serve others.

The path has not been easy and will not be in the future but no blessings will be withheld as you keep on the whole armor of God. Satan will strive to divert you from the path that leads back to our Father in Heaven and the blessings that await you. I bless you with the power of discernment to be able to recognize Satan in his many devious and cunning ways and say to you that if you hold to the things you know to be right you will not be deceived.

You will be called to positions of leadership in the Kingdom but no responsibility will be greater than that of establishing and maintaining a righteous home. Strengthen your relationship with those within your family and extended family and give support to them in their times of need and draw strength from them in your times of need. Your life will be whatever you make of it with the help of the Lord. Remember His desire is for your success and to return to Him and receive all He has.

I bless you to come forth on the morning of the first resurrection, clothed with glory and eternal life. These blessings I seal upon you, according to your faithfulness, in the sacred name of Jesus Chris. Amen.
