*****, In the authority of the office of Patriarch, I place my hands on your head and pronounce upon you your Patriarchal Blessing.
*****, I declare unto you your lineage in Israel. You lived with our Father in Heaven before coming to this earth. Through your valiance and the decisions that you made you earned the right to the blessings of the tribe of Ephraim. You have obligations, rights, and privileges that attend this sacred blessing to be part of Ephraim.
I bless you that as you mature and as you study the gospel you will gain an understanding and appreciation of those blessings, and your obligations to use the priesthood that you will receive, that you already hold, to work for the building of the Kingdom of God on the earth. I bless you to have an understanding of the authority and power of the priesthood that you will hold. Your preparation as you serve now as a priest in the Church to become an elder in the Melchizedek Priesthood will help you grow to understand the will of our Father in Heaven and His Son for all of the House of Israel, and for all of the inhabitants of this earth, that the blessings of Ephraim contain privileges and obligations to bring the gospel to them and to bless their lives with the ordinances of the priesthood, especially the House of God, so that all of our Heavenly Father's children might receive eternal life.
I bless you, *****, with the gift of testimony. Your testimony will continue to blossom and grow and strengthen as you prepare yourself for a full time mission, which it will be your privilege to serve. I bless you with the gift of tongues, with the gift of knowledge, with the gifts of understanding and discernment, that you might be a righteous and powerful servant of the Lord as you are called and accept the call to serve as a full time missionary. I bless you to have an attitude of love and of service towards those you will be called to serve. There will be people that you teach who will accept the gospel more readily as you love them and righteously serve them. They will feel the Spirit, they will know the Church is true, and will accept the gospel, repent and be baptized through your instrumentality.
Though you will see things in your life that will challenge your testimony you will be one who will stand up to defend the Church and to defend its teachings and doctrines. Through your example, I bless you that you will give faith and strength to those who surround you, your friends and members of your family, who would otherwise weaken and be negatively affected by the events that surround them. You will be one who has the ability to reach down and lift up others who are in need temporally and spiritually.
I promise you that as you live the gospel faithfully you will never want for the material things in this life. You will be guided that you will know the career that you should pursue. I promise you that as you righteously follow the teachings of the Church, as you keep the commandments, as you are faithful to the covenants that you've made at baptism, and that you will make in the temple, in addition to your priesthood covenants, your path will be made straight, you will see clearly what you should do regarding your education, and what you should do to provide for your family.
I now bless you, *****, to know that our Father in Heaven desires for you to seek out and find a righteous and worthy young woman to be sealed in the House of the Lord. Everything that you do now in your life the standards that you keep, the example that you set, will prepare you to find a young woman who will love you for the kind of person that you are, and she will desire to be your eternal companion. In addition, I promise that you will have the guidance of the Holy Ghost to determine who she should be. Everything that you do now will affect your relationship with her later, so I admonish you to know the standards of the Church, to choose good music, to read and view good things that are uplifting and inspiring. Choose good friends who will encourage you to make righteous choices. Be one of those righteous friends to them and I promise that the Lord will honor you by granting unto you all of the righteous desires of your heart.
I bless you that you will be protected from the evil influences of this world. You will have the ability to discern when the adversary will tempt you to lead you away from the church. I bless you to be a faithful and righteous father, to love your children, and you will have a faithful and righteous family.
You will be called upon to lead in the Kingdom. I bless you with the gift of administration, that you might understand the workings of the Church and the organization of the priesthood. I bless you with the gift of organization that will help you to prepare for other assignments and missions that the Lord will call upon you to serve. You will have a clear understanding of how the priesthood functions, how our Father in Heaven and His Son organize and carry out their work. I bless you ***** that you will bear up under the sacrifices that you will be called upon to make, even leaving your family at times to fulfill the callings and the assignments and the missions of the Lord. He will make you equal to the work and He will give you all of the blessings, power and the understanding you need to fulfill what He calls you to do.
I bless you regarding your career to always keep in priority those things that matter. Pursue an education and a career that first are consistent with the teachings of the Church and your standing in the Church. Choose a profession that will allow you to serve the Lord, to sacrifice your time in serving the Lord, and that will allow you, in addition, to provide for your family.
The Lord will bless you. He loves you, He knows who you are. You are His son. I promise that as you faithfully abide by the admonition given to you in this blessing that all of those things that are promised you will come to pass in time and in eternity. I bless you that you will be one who stands with the Lord when he comes again as you faithfully live up to your covenants and to these blessings, and say this in the sacred name of Jesus Christ. Amen
