*****, by authority of the holy Melchizedek Priesthood that I hold, I lay my hands upon your head and give you a patriarchal blessing. I bless you that you know of a surety that you are a spirit daughter of a loving Heavenly Father who has a great destiny and future. I bless you that you also know that your Elder Brother Jesus Christ knows you personally and loves you deeply. I bless you that you will develop a strong desire within your heart and soul to learn all you can about your Master, that you will study His teachings, restored gospel, and example, and that you will incorporate into your life those principles of the gospel that will enable you to qualify to live with Heavenly Father in the eternities.

I declare unto you this Sabbath afternoon that you are a member of the house of Israel through the loins of Ephraim. You are a member of the tribe that has been commissioned to help Heavenly Father gather Israel. I bless you that you give voice to your convictions and express with courage your testimony of the divinity of the Savior. You will by your example be a light for all of those with whom you associate. They will see in you something of the divine. Through your works, you will be able to influence many for good. Your light will illuminate not only your path but theirs as well. That light will provide others with a glimpse of eternal truths.

I promise you that you will one day qualify to go to the house of the Lord to receive your endowment, a most precious gift and treasure, and you will also have an opportunity to meet and marry a faithful and dedicated holder of the Melchizedek Priesthood. You will be able to go hand in hand to the house of the Lord and be sealed for time and all eternity. I further promise you that you will raise up a family. You will have children who you can teach, nourish, nurture, and love, and you will create a home that will bring peace and happiness to your family. I promise you that, as you build your home on the rock of your Redeemer, your home will never fall. Your family will be protected and fortified. You will be able to withstand the influences of the evil one and deflect the fiery darts of the adversary. Build your home on the principles of righteousness with Jesus Christ at the center.

I promise you further that you will be a leader in Zion. You will be able to influence the sisters of the Church to be united in purpose with the priesthood of God. You will demonstrate in your actions as well as in your intentions the principles of faithfulness and obedience. You will be able to show the sisters for whom you have stewardship responsibility the path that will lead to eternal life. Through your emphasis on harmony in the home and unity of the faith, the sisters with whom you associate will also want to be united, not only with you but also their Redeemer.

I promise you that, as you study the scriptures and as you carry out the saving ordinances and eternal covenants of the gospel in your life, you will qualify to see God. You will glimpse the mysteries of the kingdom. You have a gift of revelation and prophecy. You must cultivate this gift, not only for your own profit but also for the blessing of others and for the glory of God.

As you humbly and faithfully magnify your callings, I promise you that you will be sanctified by the spirit. You will partake of the morning of the first resurrection and sit on the right hand of God with your united eternal family. This blessing I seal upon your head in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen.
