Sister *****, by the authority of the Melchizedek Priesthood which I hold, and as the Lord's agent of communication as a patriarch here in the Kirkland Stake, I lay my hands upon your head to give you your patriarchal blessing.

I bless you, *****, with the gift of compassion - a gift you will use throughout all your days here upon the Earth: in your family; in Church callings; with friends and associations; and neighbors in the various places where you will live; and even in organizations in which you will be affiliated in the school and community where you will live and where your children will be involved.

I bless you, *****, with the gift of bearing a fervent testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ - not only in word but in deed, and in your kind personality that will shine through to those in whom you come in contact both inside and out the Church. Your willingness to help those of our Father in Heaven's children in need will bring blessings to you and your family that could be received in no other way. You will have many opportunities to serve, and very often without any recognition whatsoever; but Heavenly Father will always be well aware, and the blessings of greatest worth will be bestowed upon. These character building opportunities - and the closeness to the Spirit that you will develop due to your involvement - will prepare you for not only continued service in the Kingdom here upon the Earth, but more importantly in your development and preparation for Eternal Life and all that which encompasses such.

*****, you are a descendant of the tribe of Ephraim and, therefore, have the right to receive all of the blessings of that lineage - according to your faithfulness in living all the laws and ordinances. of the Gospel. I promise you, *****, by keeping the covenants you have made, and will yet make in the House of the Lord, you will have the blessing of rising in the morning of the First Resurrection with your eternal mate, and with a loving posterity - who will have been raised in the Gospel by you and your eternal mate and, thereby, they also will continue to live and teach those principles that they will have observed lived in your home.

I bless you, *****, with the gift of seeking guidance and direction from our Father in Heaven in all of your goals and aspirations. You will have difficult choices that will come to you, all of which in each instance will have the appearance of being somewhat equal and, thereby, could present a stumbling block in your eternal progression if not studied out carefully, and then asking Heavenly Father's confirmation to the decision that you will have already made. I therefore bless you, *****, that you will make some decisions early in your life, and recognize that only the very best will take you back to the presence of Father in Heaven. Even at your young age now as you make those decisions, I bless you to always seek the counsel of Heavenly Father after you have studied it out and made a decision; you will find as you look back years from now that that will have been of help to you and your children. The occasions when these decisions will come as such are too numerous to enumerate; but you will sense an immediate feeling, in each occasion, that will give you direction to make the best decision that would assure you the blessing of Eternal Life.

I bless you therefore, *****, with the fortitude and spiritual strength to always do the things you know you ought to; and keep associations, whether within or outside of the Church, with only those that are seeking to do what is right.

I bless you to begin a habit of reading from the Scriptures daily; saying your prayers, both morning and evening; avoiding entertainment, recreation, literature, movies, music, or anything similar that would minimize the promptings of the Holy Ghost; and, I promise you that by so doing you will have the guiding hand of our Father in Heaven throughout your entire life and have the pleasure one day and the blessing of having seen the results of such living for your, and your children, and their children.

I bless you, *****, to be quick to answer the call of the Master in callings, or assignments, or requests that come from inspired leadership of the Church: and , by so doing, I promise you that Heavenly Father will be mindful of your health - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually; and, He will buoy you up in all aspects of your life, because of the stalwart daughter that you are of His; and, He will thereby know for certain that you will always follow in the path that would be an example to other, and would merit the constant promptings of the Holy Ghost in your life.

*****, there are blessings and promises left unuttered in your patriarchal blessing that will be pronounced during settings apart and other blessings that you will receive. I promise you, through the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, that every particular of this - your patriarchal blessing - will be fulfilled in detail according to your faithfulness and obedience to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

And I promise you that the temptations of the Adversary, and the influences of that side, will never make an inroad into your life; you will be protected from the darts of the Adversary, in whatever form they come, as you direct your life in the footsteps of the Savior.

And of all this I assure you, through the inspiration of the Holy Ghost and as the Lord's mouthpiece in your blessing, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
