Brother Dalton, it is in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I lay my hands upon thy head to confer a blessing upon thee, according to the Patriarchal Order of God, which has come to us from our forefathers, even Abraham, our forefather and seer; for thou art entitled by lineage to all the promises and blessings that the Lord, our God, conferred upon Abraham. Thou art a descendent of Abraham, through the loins of Ephraim, whom the archers tried to destroy when he made his abode in the land of promise, wherein he took root and brought forth fruit by the power of God. Power shall be given thee over evil spirits. Billows of the oceans and the wind, storm, and hurricane shall obey thy voice; therefore, fear no evil, for the angel that was given charge at thy birth shall whisper in thine ear and warn thee from every danger; and every voice raised against thee in thy sojourn be confounded at thy voice. Not only angels of God shall surround thee, but the presence of the Almighty shall be near thee. Ask and it shall be given thee. Thy mind shall be lit up as a lamp by the Glory of God. God will give thee line upon line for thy mind shall be filled with intelligence. The Holy Ghost shall rest upon thee with great power and demonstration and you shall be able to take of the things of the Father and make them known unto the children of men. This blessing I seal upon thee, that it remain in all thy sojournings and be a lamp to thy path, to guide thee on to victory; for in the day of famine and pestilence, thy basket and storehouse shall be filled, and thy posterity shall never pine for food. The Glory of God and intelligence shall be imparted unto thee. I ratify all former blessings, washings, and anointings in the temple of the living God, and many yet ye shall receive, and thy soul filled with praise and gratitude. Thy days shall be lengthened to do a mighty work yet. I seal thee up to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection, crowned with immortality and eternal life in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ, Amen.
