*****, by virtue of the holy Melchizedek Priesthood and office of Patriarch which I hold, I lay my hands upon your head, and as the Lord shall direct, give unto you your Patriarchal blessing to be a comfort, benefit and guide to you throughout your life in accordance with your faithfulness.

You are heir to your inheritance blessings through the lineage of Ephraim, the son of Joseph who was sold into Egypt. They are choice blessings and shall continually be increased unto you throughout your life as you prove yourself worthy.

The Lord is mindful of you and wants you to know that He loves you. You were faithful to your Heavenly Parents in the pre-existence. Because of your love and devotion to your Heavenly Parents you were detained to come to the earth until the gospel had been restored in all its fullness so that you could receive all of the blessings that are promised to the faithful. Responsibility is coupled with each blessing but not without proper instruction. As you study and ponder the scriptures, listen to your priesthood in all that you need to keep your life straight and direct your activities so you can return to the presence of the Lord.

Remember, the evil one is real and he desires you to be his. Because of the special association you have had with your Heavenly Parents he has an increased desire to cause you to stumble. Listen to the whispering of that still small voice and you will be guided and directed and warned in advance of difficulties and dangers and be spared many of the problems of the world.

You have a winning personality which you should develop and cultivate as a means with which to serve the Lord. As a missionary you will convince many of the gospel truths because of your sincerity and your love for them. There will be many join the church because of your efforts. There will be others that you will not see develop as converts but because of your industry the seed has been sown and others will be able to convince them of the truth at another time. Do not be discouraged if you do not see the fruits of your labors at all times.

You will have the opportunity to sit in counsel with the brethren and provide leadership to many of the saints throughout the world. You will be an instrument in touching the lives of many in a special way. You will be able to provide that help and counsel as you are inspired by the Lord and as you follow the brethren.

You were born of good parents, a rare privilege not available to everyone. Follow their counsel and listen to their advice. Live your life as a product of their example and you will be heir to all that Heavenly Father has.

Brother *****, there is a young lady now being prepared for you. You will recognize each other at the proper time if you live faithful and keep the commandments and keep yourself clean and pure. You will take her to the House of the Lord where you will be instructed from on high, endowed with knowledge and sealed for time and all eternity as husband and wife. Your children will be born in the covenant and you will experience great joy as you watch them grow and develop. Your joy will grow as your posterity expands.

I bless you with a constant desire to serve your Heavenly Father and His children here on earth. I bless you with the spirit of discernment and the ability to comprehend all you need to know in preparing yourself to provide for your wife and family. As you direct your time, talents and means to the service of the Lord they shall be continually increased unto you and you will have additional time, talents and means with which to accomplish your work and provide for your family and you and your family will never want for the necessities of life.

I seal you up to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection enjoying all of the blessings of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They are choice blessings and many will be recognized as you study and ponder the scriptures and grow in maturity and become conversant with the Lord in prayer.
