Sister *****: In the authority of the Holy Priesthood, I seal upon you a Patriarchal Blessing, to strengthen your faith and give you a desire to labor in the service of the Lord to prepare yourself for the blessings in store for you.

Having kept your first estate and gained the confidence of your Eternal Father, you were counted worthy to come to the earth through the royal blood of Israel in this glorious dispensation. You are of the seed of Joseph through the loins of Ephraim, and you are heir to the blessings pertaining to this branch of the chosen seed of Israel.

The Holy Ghost has been conferred upon you to be a light to your pathway, and if you follow its promptings it will lead you in the way of life and salvation, and inspire your mind with an understanding of the great plan of our Heavenly Father to prepare His children for exaltation in the Celestial Kingdom, and for eternal progression. It will assist you in your search for knowledge and prepare you for the positions of trust and responsibility unto which you shall be called.

Your faith shall increase as you exercise it for the benefit of yourself and those among whom you labor. You shall minister comfort and blessing unto those who are afflicted in body and depressed in spirit; and many shall be led to rejoice in your words of comfort and sympathy, and your wise counsel; and they shall profit by the same and shall place themselves in a position to receive the blessings of the Lord, through their faithfulness.

Many obstacles shall be placed in your way and the adversary will seek to discourage and destroy you; but because of your implicit faith and trust in the Lord, you shall overcome these obstacles. You shall be blessed in your family, and the way shall be opened up that you shall obtain those things that you need for your sustenance and your comfort, and means shall be provided for you to accomplish the righteous desires of your heart and assist in carrying on the work of the Lord in preparing a people for the second coming of the Savior.

I seal upon you the blessings of life and health, and I seal you up against the power of the destroyer, that his efforts to destroy you or to hinder your progress shall be thwarted, and you shall live to accomplish the mission for which you have been sent to this earth, and come forth in the First Resurrection, clothed with glory, immortality and eternal life. These blessings, dear Sister, are yours, through your faithfulness, for I seal them upon you by authority of the Priesthood, I hold and in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
