Brother *****, I a servant of the Lord in the authority of a Patriarch lay my hands upon your head and give you a blessing which shall be a guide and a comfort unto you in this mortal life.

I bless you with the blessing of health that your body may be invigorated and your memory strengthened, that you may be enabled to retain the things that you learn and bring them forth for your own benefit and blessing and for the blessing of those of your associates and friends.

I bless you with the blessing of faith that you may be enabled to go forth and discharge the duties that will be required at thine hands for you have been born of goodly parentage, who are of the house of Israel, and much will be required at thine hands.

You will be called upon to go to the nations of the earth and warn your fellow-men and declare unto them that the power of the priesthood has been restored in this day and dispensation and that Jesus is the Christ the redeemer of the world and Joseph Smith was a Prophet of the Lord.

Store your mind with useful knowledge and God will give unto you a testimony of the work that will be required at thy hands.

Be prayerful, be honest, be virtuous, seek the Lord at all times and he will guide and direct you in the way of truth and righteousness and you will not be confounded by the power of evil, but will be enabled by your faithfulness and righteousness to overcome all things. For you are of the house of Israel through the lineage of Ephraim and much is required at thine hands in carrying truth and righteousness unto your fellowmen.

These blessings I seal upon you together with the power of discernment that you may be enabled to discern good from evil and seal you up against the power of the destroyer and the power of evil, until the day of redemption in the name of Jesus our Redeemer, Amen.
