John in the name of Jesus Christ I lay my hands upon your head and give thee a patriarchal blessing, for thou art a descendant of Ephraim and a lawful heir to the Melchizedek priesthood, and you shall receive all the blessings that belong to the sons of Ephraim in connection with the holy priesthood. There is a great work for you to do on this earth, and thou shalt be with the remnant of Jacob upon this land when they shall go to the center stake of Zion. And you shall preside over thousands of them while they are building the great city and temple, and you shall have joy in your labors on that land, and you shall see that beautiful temple erected and your eyes shall behold your redeemer, and hear his words and what you shall see and hear in that temple shall repay thee for all thy sorrows and afflictions, and you shall receive all of your endowments and anointings that are for the sons of Ephraim, and you shall be filled with the power of God and your words shall cause the wicked to tremble and you shall lead the children of Ephraim to their rest in that goodly land, and you shall be a seer unto those you preside over and they shall look unto thee for counsel and wisdom, and your name shall be known unto the tribes of Israel, as one whom God delights to bless. And the Lord shall give thee wisdom and power to go amongst the sick and afflicted and raise them up from their beds of affliction by the power of the Holy Ghost that shall be with thee. And you shall be one of the wise that shall enter into the marriage supper of the Lamb, before the door is closed against the power of Lucifer, and he shall not have power over thy body to lead thee to sin. And I seal you up unto eternal life to come forth in the resurrection of the just and take your kingdom and glory that you have labored for on this earth. These blessings I seal upon your head through thy faithfulness in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
