Brother *****, having the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood, and by virtue of the ordination I have as a patriarch in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I lay my hands upon your head for the purpose of bestowing upon you the Lord's Patriarchal Blessing, a blessing to be of great strength to you as you journey through mortality; a blessing to be a focus for you to follow; a blessing that you will read and reread to be a guide in your life as you journey in the future; to give you comfort and strength in time of difficulty or need that might arise in your life; to be as a guiding star to help you find your way through the difficulties of mortality; to help you guide and direct your thoughts and your efforts in righteousness; to give you an understanding of the great love that your Heavenly Father and the Lord have for you here upon the earth; and their desire for you to be successful. You will be successful as you put your faith and trust in the Lord and do the things that you know to be necessary to return to your Heavenly Father in celestial glory and goodness.

You are of the lineage of the House of Israel through Joseph and through the tribe of Ephraim, and as such, you are entitled, and you can claim, the great blessings that are promised to you through the seed of Abraham. I bless you that your desires will be to follow the Lord's teachings and the great example that He has given us to live by. Learn the great truths that come through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to enlighten your mind, to give you the spirit and the guidance that you need to be a faithful, diligent and obedient son of our Heavenly Father. Use your time in righteousness as a servant unto the Lord by being of help to others. Know that your great mission in life is to be a servant unto the Lord, to fulfill the great promises that you have made in the preexistence to the Lord, to be useful in furthering his work and glory upon the earth.

I bless you that the Holy Priesthood, that you hold, will be a great source of strength to you to enable you to receive the principles of revelation, and understand the things that you should do to enable you to be a wonderful servant unto the Lord. Be a great help to your fellow beings, and you will be a strength to others, through your priesthood and opportunities to bless others. One of your great gifts, *****, will be to be as a teacher, and I bless you with the voice of communication to converse well, to use your voice in proclaiming the truths of The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Help others to understand the whole purpose of life and the meaning they have for being here upon the earth in this dispensation of the fullness of times when The Gospel is here to strengthen and prepare the earth for the return of the Lord, in goodness and in glory.

I bless you that your mind might be ever open to learning and growing, and you will have a great desire to increase your wisdom and understanding. You will have the gift of wisdom and the ability to use that wisdom in righteousness. I bless you that as you honor the priesthood and magnify it, the windows of heaven will open and, as you are faithful and diligent and obedient, great blessings will flow unto you. Go forth as a servant of the Lord, and know that it is necessary for you to be humble, to be teachable, to listen to the still small voice as it comes to you, a voice that will come to you through feelings as much as through words. It will be the voice of the Lord, speaking to you to guide you, to lead you unto truth and righteousness so you can bask in the light and truth of the Lord. Lean upon the Lord rather than on your own understanding, and know that He will be with you to support you and to strengthen you in your righteous desires, to enable you to go forth and make your life meaningful and to reach the full potential that you have as a worthy son of our Heavenly Father.

I bless you with health and strength in your body and in your mind, and in your spirit, that they will enable you to accomplish greatness in your life. I bless you that you will have the work and employment that you need to have income to properly raise and nurture your family. You will be a great strength to them, and understand your wife and your children, and know their needs and be able to guide them temporally, and more importantly, to guide them spiritually, so they might be always an important part of your eternal family. I bless you that, together with your dear wife, you will be as a king and queen and as a priest and priestess in the celestial glory with your Heavenly Father in the eternities to come.

Now know that it is necessary to use your time in righteousness, to overcome the temptations of the adversary, to overcome the meaningless things of the world, and to focus your time on the goat spiritual needs that exist in the world and in your life. Train yourself well to follow the Lord's teachings.

Study the scriptures intently and ponder upon them to understand and receive the great council that only the Lord can give you, which will be a source of strength to you as you journey in mortality. I bless you with the ability to be a servant unto the Lord in many ways; to be a teacher, and you will sit in council with others in The Church, and be helpful in promoting the work of the Lord upon the earth, as needed to prepare the world for His return in great glory and goodness.

Be faithful, be diligent, be obedient, and use your time in righteousness, and know that great blessings are yours to claim in the eternities together with your wife. These blessings are yours, *****, and all others that the Lord has in store for you, and there are many. As you live worthily and keep the commandments, you will come forth in the morning of the first resurrection to receive the comment of the Lord, Well done, come join with us in the eternities. I seal upon you these blessings and all that you can receive, through the power of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood and in the worthy name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
