There is much wickedness in the world around you. I warn you of this and counsel you to avoid all that is degrading and unwholesome, even the very appearance of evil. So much of this influence is found in the things that are seen, heard, read and felt. 1996-02-11 You will see great turmoil, not only physical turmoil upon the earth, but you will see great evil taking place in which Satan will try to destroy the Lord's work. 1996-06-13 I bless you that you will be able to overcome any of the temptations that are in the world today, that you will overcome evil and always do that which is good and right. 1996-08-11 I bless you that your home will be a bastion of peace and safety completely separated from the contemptuous spirit of the world. 1997-05-04 There are turbulent times ahead in this wicked World therefore be on guard from evil night and day. 1997-07-13 We must be in the world but we need not be part of it. To state it again, you needn't be afraid for Lucifer has power only where you give it. 1998-05-31 You have learned from experience the difference between good and evil, and have done well to keep yourself clean from the serious sins of the world. There is so much happening and many people are starting to look into our church. 1999-07-18 I bless you to beware of the tempter's power and to be aware of peer groups who would lead you unto unrighteous paths and away from peace and happiness. 2000-03-19 As you experience negative and evil influence, you will be blessed through the influence of the Holy Ghost according to your desire that you may recognize and know the action that is proper in every circumstance. 2000-12-17 You are now blessed with the power to overcome the evils and darkness and destruction that will attempt to hinder your desires to serve the Lord, blessed with strength and the gift of helping others. Also to overcome the ways of the world. 2001-06-09 The Lord blessed you with an understanding of the world's problems and of humanity. 2001-08-12 Never compromise your principles or standards or beliefs for the sake of popularity or gain or worldly pleasure. There will be those who deride and criticize and even exhibit hatred, but know that deep down in the recesses of their hearts they will know that you are right and that the truth is in you. I bless you that you will create a home that is a refuge from the chaos and turmoil of the world. 2002-08-25 Remember that this is the Lord's church and it is important to follow his directions and not that which we have learned from the outside world. 2003-07-18 There are also new and dangerous paths and temptations, for the world is becoming ripe in iniquity. 2005-02-13 Keep yourself unspotted from the sins of this world. 2005-04-24 Heavenly Father says, beware of Satan and his minions for they are abroad in the land. 2005-11-06 Do not yield to pride, fashion or the vanities of the world. As you recognize the evil that comes before your family, you will teach your loved ones what they must do to remain true and faithful to Heavenly Father. 2006-04-23 You have been faithful in your youth and have overcome the temptations of the world. 2006-08-27 Lucifer still desires to have you, so be aware of this and never let yourself be found in any place or situation where the Holy Ghost could not be with you. Do not become involved in any of the enticements that Lucifer has, which are so prevalent in the world today. 2006-09-15 Your world is one of electronic marvels with earphones and screens and games. These properly used will multiply your capabilities, but if abused will cover your ears to the shutting out of the still small voice and glue your eyes to screens distorting your view that you cannot see to discern between truth and error. 2008-01-27 You have been raised as a calf in a stall in a world filled with turmoil, noise, and uncertainty. 2008-02-03 The world is full of evilness. It is rampant here. 2008-04-20 The media and other things of the world will not be able to tempt you beyond your ability to withstand. 2008-06-08 You will be protected from harm and the evils of the world. 2009-10-17 As you are aware, there are many evils and temptations in the world today. 2010-02-14 Now we live in a world of great turmoil and concern. I bless you that you may not worry about the conditions of the world. 2010-05-30 I bless you that you may establish Zion in your home, even in the midst of increasing Babylon. 2010-08-01 I bless you that you will be protected from the evil influences of this world. 2010-08-12 The world will tempt you. Satan is very clever in presenting the evil things of this world as good and the good things of this earth as bad or evil. When you look off that path into the world it looks tempting, it looks exciting but it is a road to destruction, spiritual destruction. 2012-08-17 You will naturally in the course of events encounter people who would like to take advantage of you and turn you away from the truth, or to use you to their own ends. They will tell you that right is wrong, that wrong is right, and that the 'old ways' have been done away with. 2013-03-12 I bless you with the ability to resist the evil things about you in the world. 2013-04-07 The world is in turmoil and there are catastrophes and tragedies occurring. 2015-04-28 Many will be converted and be lifted from the sins of this generation. Be mindful that Satan is alive on earth and he will try to destroy all the things that you have accomplished while laboring among Heavenly Father's children. 2015-05-17 This world is becoming increasingly hostile to the principles of righteousness, increasingly disrespectful of those who are prophets and apostles. I bless you to give no heed to the world and its influence as it pertains to apostles and prophets and true doctrine. 2015-11-29 There will be many obstacles and societal impairments of the world in which you live. 2016-07-29 Satan spends his entire time trying to convince society that sacred things are no longer important in the eyes of God. He teaches that infidelity, immorality and vulgarity are all acceptable. As you live among the peoples of the world and see the evils about you, I give you a blessing of the power of discernment, that you might be able to recognize right from wrong and that you will have the strength to choose the right. 2018-10-14 You will see something of wickedness in the earth and turmoil among nations, but you will not be unduly concerned because of your faith, which will be strengthened over the years as you strive to be prayerful and remain true to your gospel covenants. 2019-05-05 At this time, where the complexities and confusions of the world are greater than they've ever been, it is your challenge to introduce and reinforce sanity and spirituality. 2019-09-22 You have been saved to come to the earth at this time when there are many trials, temptations, challenges and struggles. 2022-09-25 In a world filled with contention and strife you will become a messenger of peace. 2023-11-12 You will be patient in adversity as it may come, because of the world that we live in. 2025-05-07 Rejoice in following the Lord Jesus Christ, and avoid all forms of darkness. Blessing #23 This is a very wicked world you are living in and Satan may prompt you to do things. Blessing #33 I bless you, as you go forth from this day, to be filled with the power to overcome the obstacles of life that you shall face - to overcome Satan and the temptations and evils of the world. I bless you with strength, faith and courage in the face of the wars and evils that shall continue to increase until the Savior comes to rule and reign in the millennial era.
