Sister *****: By the authority of the Priesthood which I bear and in the name of Jesus Christ I place my hands upon your head and give unto you a Patriarchal blessing. The giving of a Patriarchal blessing has been a practice among the people of God from the earliest ages of men and so it is pleasing in the sight of our Heavenly Father that you should receive such a blessing at this time. The Lord has blessed you abundantly all the days of your life and these blessings have come to you Sister *****, because of your faithfulness here in this life and also because you were faithful and obedient to the commandments of our Father in Heaven in the Spirit World. As one of our Father's children in that preexistent state, you found joy and gladness in accepting the plan of life and salvation as it was presented to all of our Father's children by our Elder Brother Jesus Christ. You not only accepted the plan, but you were valiant in its defense and were loyal and true to the covenants which you there made with your Father and your God. Because of your faith and devotion you were chosen and promised certain blessings to be given to you here in mortal life. You earned the right to come into the earth at this time when the Gospel in its fullness is here upon the earth whereby the children of God, by obedience to its teachings might eventually gain exaltation in the Celestial Kingdom of our Father. You were also promised and that promise was fulfilled, that you should some to the earth through a noble lineage and should be an heir to the Priesthood and should have faith to understand the Gospel and live its principles all the days of your life here upon the earth. This has been fulfilled in your behalf, for yours is a royal lineage, you are a daughter of Israel through the loins of Ephraim and your fathers before you are numbered with the great and mighty men and women of latter day Zion.

Your life has been spent in service to the Church and your fellowmen, and your heart has been lifted up in gratitude as you have contemplated the great blessings which our Father has showered down upon you from your earliest infancy. You have been blessed with the blessings of the Priesthood and the blessings of parenthood and in humility and faith have you taught your children the principles of life and salvation and from generation to generation shall your honor and glory increase as your children and their children after them labor to build up the Church and Kingdom of God. The Lord has blessed you with great faith and with courage to meet the problems and difficulties of life. His spirit and inspiration has been with you and He has blessed you with understanding and with faith and with great comfort in your hour of need. Rich spiritual blessings await you as you continue to serve the Lord. Your understanding of the purpose of life and the opportunities of service to our Father's children will continue to grow and increase, and you shall enjoy rich and wonderful experiences that shall bring you nearer to your Father in Heaven than you have ever been before and as you continue to serve and labor among His people. There shall come a time when all doubt shall be brushed away for the Spirit of the Lord will come to you in such power that you shall know the purposes of the Lord and His will concerning you; and great shall be your joy as you contemplate the visions of eternity and as you commune with the unseen world. The veil shall be thin and you shall marvel at the nearness of the unseen world, and shall receive strength and power that will bind you to your Father and to your Redeemer with such chains of love and devotion that no power on the earth will ever be able to lead you away or darken your mind or your understanding.

Lift up your heart in gratitude Sister *****, you are choice in the sight of our Heavenly Father. Great and wondrous blessings have been bestowed upon you all the days of your life, but even greater blessings await you in the days to come. Now by the authority of the holy Patriarchal Order of Priesthood which I bear I seal these blessings upon your head and I say unto you that they shall all be fulfilled in your behalf as you serve the Lord and keep His commandments. I say unto you that you shall live upon the earth as long as life is sweet and desirable unto you and the angel of death shall come as a friend and with joy and gladness shall you go out to meet him. In the Spirit World you shall enjoy a period of rest and peace and shall renew your associations with many of your loved ones. You shall find work suitable to your nature among the rest of the spirits who have returned to the Spirit World, and your influence will be such that you shall bring peace and comfort wherever you shall go. You shall look forward to the great day of Judgment with anticipation and without fear and when that great day shall come, you shall stand with your husband and with all of your loved ones and it shall be a day of rejoicing for you shall not be found wanting. You shall gain exaltation in the Celestial Kingdom of our God, and throughout endless ages of eternity shall you rule and reign with all of our Father's righteous children in His presence forever and forever. To this end I bless you and seal you up Sister *****, and I say to let your heart rejoice, for you are choice in the sight of our Heavenly Father, and His peace and blessings shall be with you forever and forever, which I promise unto you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
