Membership in the Church

30% of blessings since 1950 included the promise of Membership in the Church.

1845-06-09 Thou hast entered the Covenant by baptism. Thou art adopted into the family and kingdom of God. 1845-07-19 In as much as thou hast joined the true church and given thyself unto the Lord and honoured him in the blessed ordinance of baptism thou art a new creature in Christ Jesus in the everlasting covenant with faithful Abraham and his servant in the holy Priesthood is witness to thine adoption into the family and kingdom of God. 1845-08-26 Thou has been honored in the Blessed ordinance of Baptism. 1857-01-23 Thou art truly blest, inasmuch as thou hast embraced the gospel in thy youth. 1866-01-29 Thou hast left thy native land to dwell among the Saints which is well pleasing in the sight of the Lord. 1870-12-26 Thou hast received this gospel with an honest heart. 1874-02-14 You have been willing to forsake friends and country for the sake of the Gospel of the Son of God. Therefore your sacrifice has been accepted. 1877-01-12 You have suffered yourself to be gathered to this land of Joseph by the power and revelation of God the Eternal Father, given to his servant Brigham Young, the lawful and legal successor to Joseph Smith. 1878-09-03 I say unto thee be thou comforted for thou art one of the daughters of Zion and art numbered among the daughters of Israel. 1879-07-04 Thou hast obeyed the voice of the Lord through his servants and gathered up with the people of God. 1880-01-11 You shall be numbered with the Church of the First-born. 1880-01-21 I say unto thee, be thou faithful unto the end of thy days for thou art one of the daughters of Zion. 1880-07-20 Thou art a child of God by adoption and thou shalt eventually become a member of the church and Kingdom of God. 1890-01-15 Thou art blessed to receive the Gospel because thou did not harden thy heart. 1891-04-19 Thou shalt receive the glories of Zion. 1891-07-12 The Lord has given you faith and his Holy Spirit and has brought you into His Church and Kingdom. 1891-09-24 Thou hast received the gospel with good and honest heart. 1895-04-09 Notwithstanding you were born in a foreign land thou art numbered among the daughters of Zion, of whom much is expected. 1896-01-16 You have embraced the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in your youth, and have endeavored to live a holy and upright life, therefore the Lord is pleased to bestow on you great and precious blessings. 1899-02-13 Thou hast been blessed and brought into the fold of Christ, and been gathered up unto the land of Zion. 1899-06-08 Notwithstanding thy youth thou art numbered among the daughters of Zion. 1900-08-04 Thy heart rejoiced greatly when thou heard the servants of the living God proclaim the true and everlasting gospel. 1902-02-02 You have come upon the earth in the day and age in which the Lord has established His church, never more to be taken from the earth, and you have yielded obedience to the requirements of the Lord and have embraced His gospel. 1913-01-12 I will say to you that the Lord is pleased with you in your integrity in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and I say unto you, dear Brother, be faithful in the Lord. 1929-02-04 Thou art greatly blessed in receiving the blessings pertaining to the kingdom of God and being permitted to dwell and associate with the saints of the Most High. 1931-01-24 Thou art an heir to all blessings promised unto the daughters of Zion among who thou art numbered. 1934-05-15 Thou wast permitted to come down upon the earth in the dispensation of the fullness of times, heir to the blessing pertaining to the Kingdom of God. 1937-03-15 You have had the privilege of coming in this day and age of the world according to your own free will and choice. Thank the Lord that you have been permitted to come in this day and age when His Gospel has been restored. 1939-05-14 You have been born of goodly parents to come forth to this generation, where you'll have an opportunity to do much good in the church. 1939-06-28 The fruits of your loins shall be numbered among the honorable and loyal men and women and as faithful representatives of the great church of which you are a member. 1941-08-03 Thou hast been given the privilege and blessing of going through the experiences of mortality when the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the only true plan of life and salvation, has been restored to the earth for the last time. 1944-06-01 You are entitled to all the blessings which pertain to the gospel in these latter days. 1951-06-15 You have availed yourself of the opportunity of becoming a member of this great organization and have lived to enjoy the blessings it offers those who faithfully serve the Lord. 1951-08-08 You are an heir in faithful living and by participation in the activities and privileges offered you in the Church, to all the blessings which the Lord has promised to His Covenant people in this dispensation of time. 1952-06-12 You have been chosen in these last days to come to Zion to the stakes of Zion where you can advance in the Church and help bring souls unto Christ and build up Zion. What a glorious privilege that has come to you to come to Zion in these the latter days to the shadows of the Temple where you can rear your family. 1952-06-12 You were chosen as a choice spirit in the Spirit World to come forth in the day when the Gospel was restored that you might enjoy all the blessings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and be taught in your youth the Gospel and receive and understand it, and receive a testimony of the divine mission of the Prophet Joseph Smith. 1954-10-10 The Gospel is restored in this day and you are one of the partakers of the same. 1954-10-10 You may know at this time that it is not an accident in your life that you are a member of the Church. 1955-02-10 You were permitted in time to receive the Gospel and to aid the Priesthood in building up His great church preparatory to His second coming. 1955-12-17 You now have the opportunity to hear, accept, and enjoy all the blessings of the gospel as they have been restored to earth in the time in which you have the privilege to live. 1956-06-08 Through the waters of baptism you have associated yourself with the House of Israel and you have the promise, that if you continue faithful and maintain the standards of the Church, and are willing to make such sacrifices which will be required of you, you will share in the gifts and blessings of the Lord. 1957-02-18 You earned the right to come into the earth at this time when the Gospel in its fullness is here upon the earth whereby the children of God, by obedience to its teachings might eventually gain exaltation in the Celestial Kingdom of our Father. 1957-08-07 Thou hast already been greatly blessed in thy life in receiving this fine tabernacle in which you dwell, and in thus far partaking of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 1957-11-03 I bless you, at this time, that you will continue to serve in such a manner that others seeing your good example and hearing your sincere testimony of the truthfulness will feel to glorify our Father in Heaven and to join with us in the acceptance of the restored gospel. 1957-11-29 Because of your sweetness and your devotion to the Lord, He sent you to earth that you might come to a good home and be taught the gospel of Jesus Christ and enjoy all the blessings the Church has in store for the Children of God. 1964-12-13 As one of His sons He has guided you thus far and your life has been preserved to the end that you should receive the Gospel. He reserved you to come to this earth at this time when many wonderful things are taking place and when the Gospel is here in its fullness and when you are privileged to associate with His people. 1967-09-26 The Lord has given unto thee special experiences which have enabled thee to receive of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 1971-09-18 Thou art blessed to have come forth in this dispensation and to have had the privilege and opportunity of gaining a knowledge of the Restored Gospel and entering the waters of baptism and making thy covenants with thy Heavenly Father to keep His commandments and to serve Him. 1973-05-08 You have been blessed to receive in childhood the message of the gospel. 1977-08-22 The Lord is pleased that you have found the truth and were baptized and have dedicated your heart and life to Him, that you may fulfil your second estate honorably. 1978-10-15 You have pleased our Heavenly Father greatly in having asked to become one of His within this gospel. 1979-04-09 Brother *****, you are, along with a very few people who have been born in this world, most fortunate that you have in your young adult life found your way into the Church and Kingdom of Jesus Christ in these last days. 1979-07-03 The Lord intends that the major function and role of Latter-day Saints in this dispensation is to so live and so teach that people will hear and understand the message of the restored Gospel and be led to participate in its privileges. Help them to understand and grow and have the privileges and blessings that you have had since your baptism into the church. 1980-02-10 This is the fullness of time when the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored with all the powers and authority of all the previous dispensations restored to earth for the salvation of mankind. The gospel shall not be taken again from the earth, for these are the last days. I bless you that you shall fully realize the great value of your membership in the Church to you, for it is the way unto life eternal in the Celestial Kingdom. I bless you that you shall treasure this membership above all else in life. The greatest accomplishment of your life shall be to convert yourself to the truths of the Church and the gospel. 1980-02-24 Your footsteps have been guided and your heart touched that you might hear and be receptive to the message of the restored Church. Know that the Lord rejoices in your acceptance of the gospel and in your willingness to go forth and to serve Him all the days of your life. 1981-10-11 You can be the means of helping many of them become members of the Lord's Church and to enjoy the blessings that you enjoy. 1983-06-26 I say unto you, dear brother, that you have come in a blessed age when the gospel is upon the earth and been privileged to partake of it. 1989-05-14 Now *****, there are many special things in store for you, blessings that would not come to the common man who is not a member of this great Church and who does not know Heavenly Father. 1991-01-15 The Lord needs your help very much here in the world. You came here when the gospel is in its fullness. You are blessed by being born into a Latter-Day Saint home. 1994-06-12 You will be part of His church and so the blessings will be poured down upon you. You are of the Church of the Firstborn, selected even before you were born to have the gospel in your life. You were elected to belong to a certain family, one that had the gospel and it was natural for you to become a member of the Church. 1994-07-31 For this is a great work which you have embraced, as it is restored in all its purity and with all of the gifts and powers that are embraced in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 1995-02-11 As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and because of your repentance and baptism you are heir to the blessings that were given to Abraham and renewed to Isaac and Jacob. 1995-08-06 You have been blessed to live in this dispensation to enjoy the fullness of the gospel, membership in the Church and the blessings that come from the priesthood. 1995-09-06 You have been blessed to be a member of the only true and living church upon the earth. 1995-10-27 He has blessed you to be born under the New and Everlasting Covenant where you are sealed to your parents for time and all eternity. 1996-02-11 I bless you, *****, that during these years of preparation you will grow and develop into lovely womanhood, you will be taught by the Holy Ghost, and you will become converted into the gospel of Jesus Christ and to the restoration. 1996-08-11 You have been called before this earth was ever created to be a leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to come to know the Prophet and the Apostles, to journey throughout the length and the breadth of the earth as a messenger of truth and righteousness. 1997-09-01 You have been blessed here upon earth to have found the restored Church of Jesus Christ, and if you are faithful and obedient, and remain active in the Church, your life will be greatly blessed. 1999-10-31 To assist you in your quest during mortality you have had the privilege of becoming a member of the only true church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with all the ordinances for exaltation. 1999-11-06 You are a spirit child of God and a member of the Lord's Church. 2001-08-12 Your spirit was withheld until these latter days when the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ is on the earth and you would be able to experience the restored Gospel in your life. 2002-02-08 It was your desire to come into a home where these principles were taught and lived so that you could enjoy a lifetime membership in His church. 2002-04-14 Continue your activity in the Church. 2008-04-20 Heavenly Father and the Savior are pleased that you made the decision to join Their Church here on the earth. 2009-05-17 You have had a living prophet to guide you throughout your life. You were also blessed for you were born when the restored gospel was here on earth. You have lived to work in God's kingdom. 2009-07-05 You have had the opportunity to be raised in the Church and in that time you have been taught the gospel. 2010-02-12 You have been blessed to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ. 2010-02-27 You are one of your Father in Heaven's choice daughters and entered mortality at this time to be able to receive the gospel and all of the incumbent blessings reserved for the faithful. One of your responsibilities as a member of the Church and a member of your family here upon the earth is, at the appropriate time, to seek for your ancestors and have the sacred ordinances of the Temple performed for them so they may have the blessings that are yours. 2010-03-28 You have been watched over and guided to where you would have the blessing of finding the true church of Jesus Christ. 2010-06-10 God sent you to earth to a wonderful family that has loved, cherished and taught you the restored gospel. 2010-06-13 You are blessed to be part of the great movement of your family in accepting the gospel and being baptized into the church and looking forward to receiving the blessings of the temple. 2010-09-02 Your heavenly father held you in reserve for many, many years so that you could be here upon the earth at this time when the Gospel had been restored and the message of the Plan of Happiness is spreading throughout the world under the direction of the Prophet and those who are ordained to preach and to baptize. 2012-09-02 God knew that you would be blessed here in this home, you would be raised in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Be grateful for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Because of the Church and by and through the Gospel of Jesus Christ you know who you are and you know what God expects you to do. 2012-11-18 >One of the reasons that this is the greatest time in the history of the world is that you belong to the true Church of Jesus Christ. The everlasting priesthood of God has been restored, and you hold that priesthood. Temples dot the world as was prophesied. The windows of heaven have been opened in this dispensation. 2014-05-18 Your Father in Heaven has blessed you to have been placed in an environment wherein you would have an opportunity early in your life to learn the truth of the gospel, to know your Savior, to know your Father in Heaven, and to become a member of your Savior's kingdom. 2015-06-28 God does talk to men in our day. He has revealed Himself again. His Church is restored to the earth today with Priesthood authority. 2016-04-24 I bless you to recognize the favored position you occupy as a member of the restored Church of Jesus Christ, with opportunity to make covenants with God. 2017-09-10 You have received the gift of the Holy Ghost by being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. 2018-03-04 Du hast den Bund mit dem Himmlischen Vater geschlossen durch die Taufe und Dich so entwickelt, dass Du heute ein gehorsames Mitglied der Kirche des Herrn bist. Blessing #74 Remember that because you have just recently joined the Church, that Satan desires to cause you to depart therefrom.
