Dear Sister *****: I your brother by virtue of the holy Melchizedek priesthood, and in the name of Jesus Christ, and in the office and calling of Patriarch in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, place my hands upon your head and give you according to your righteous desire a Patriarchal blessing, which shall be unto you a comfort, a guide, an inspiration, and an incentive to greater and better endeavor. Dear Sister, the Lord is pleased with your desire and for coming to one of His servants who has been called and appointed in His church for the purpose of blessing His children. You will not have come in vain, for you shall receive information which pertains to both your life here in mortality and your life while with your heavenly parents as one of their noble, faithful, spirit Daughters. For you were born to heavenly Parents and reared under the most desirable and divine influence you could wish for. You were there instructed pertaining to this earth life and the great plan of redemption as decided upon in the councils of heaven. You understood that if you were faithful and true to the laws and commandments given to God's spirit children at that time, you would have the opportunity to come into this mortal life and receive a body such as you now have and enjoy. You came to noble parents who taught you from childhood the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ, both by precept and example, by which they instilled into your heart and soul a faith in God and in His Son Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world, a faith in the Prophet Joseph Smith whom the Lord called to usher in this great and last dispensation of time and restore the gospel and establish His church and kingdom upon the earth, upon whom He conferred the holy priesthood by messengers sent from heaven which authorized him to officiate in all the holy and sacred ordinances in the church. So you now have the opportunity to hear, accept, and enjoy all the blessings of the gospel as they have been restored to earth in the time in which you have the privilege to live.

Therefore, rejoice with all your heart in gratitude to the Lord for the many great opportunities and blessings which He has provided and made possible for you to attain. You are blessed with a beautiful body, a keen intellect and a great degree of intelligence which enables you to become a valiant and powerful factor for good among God's children, for you have a pleasing personality which appeals to all who love the good and beautiful. Your influence therefore will be felt for good wheresoever you may sojourn. I bid you dear sister; go forth in faith, courage, and a determination to serve the Lord and you will not fail, for you shall be successful in every righteous endeavor of your life, and no righteous desire of your heart which is expedient for you in harmony with the will and wisdom of the Lord will be denied you. Be ever grateful to your parents for the many great, great things they have made possible for you to attain. Tell them at every opportunity how much you love and appreciate them, and they will rejoice in gratitude to the Lord for having blessed them with a noble Daughter who loves and appreciates them, and you will be entitled to the great blessing of long life, which the Lord has promised in His fifth commandment when He said: "Honor thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee." Remember; there is no greater blessing than long life when spent in the service of the Lord.

Therefore, be humble, faithful and true to the covenants you have made with the Lord in Baptism, and his holy spirit which was given you at that time as a gift will be your constant companion. It will lead, guide and direct you upon the path of truth and righteousness. It will take of the things of the Father and the Son and reveal them unto you in the flesh when necessary for you to know more pertaining to your mission and calling, and the purposes of the Lord with His children. But the Lord has a great and special mission for you to perform in this life. It is that you become a mother of men and women, by which you will earn the greatest crown which the Lord has for His children, which is the crown of motherhood; and the diadems in your crown will represent your children and they will constitute your kingdom, your joy and your glory. You will remember, the Lord said: "This is my work and my Glory: to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." This He cannot do unless He has mortal children upon whom He can bring to pass immortality and eternal life, which constitutes His glory; and that which glorifies your Father In heaven will glorify you in His presence. It is therefore your opportunity, yea it is your mission and calling to provide mortal children for your Father in heaven upon whom He can perform His great and glorious work.

Dear sister, your mission and calling is beyond your full comprehension at this time; but as you grow and increase in knowledge and understanding of the purposes of the Lord with you and His children, you will more fully appreciate the great opportunities and blessings which are yours. Therefore, take advantage of every opportunity which comes your way. Testify to the divine mission of Joseph Smith the Prophet and you will experience great joy in your labors, and great will be your reward and eternal your glory. If you are faithful and true to the Lord and diligent in His service, His holy spirit will guide and prompt you to find one of the noble sons of Ephraim as your companion with whom you can fill the full purpose of your creation, for he will be worthy of your love and devotion to him and his children, worthy to bear the holy priesthood, and willing to go with you through the holy Temple of the Lord and there be sealed to you for time and eternity, so that the children which will come to bless your home will belong to you, for they will have been born under the New and everlasting covenant and will be legal heirs to the choicest blessings which the Lord has promised to His faithful children. If you are thus sealed to each other, and are faithful and true to the covenants you will have made with the Lord and each other, your marriage will endure and your relationship will continue in and after the resurrection, and you will have increase and your children will be spirits, and when sufficient spirit children will have been born to you to justify the organization of an earth, it will be done, then your faithful spirit children will be given the opportunity to go upon that earth and receive a body even as you have done and now enjoy. This is the great plan of eternal progression and eternal increase.

And you are blessed with the intelligence and power to achieve these things through obedience to the commandments of the Lord, for He has said: "If you do what I say, I the Lord am bound; but if you do not do what I say: ye have no promise." The prophet Joseph Smith has revealed the great truth: "That there is a law, irrevocably decreed in heaven before the foundations of this world, upon which all blessings are predicated; And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated." Therefore, read the scriptures. Become familiar with the laws and commandments of the Lord so that you may be better able to observe them and receive the blessings promised through obedience to them. For you are of the house of Israel, through the lineage of Joseph and Ephraim, and are a legal heir to the choicest blessings which the Lord has promised under the covenant unto Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and their posterity; all through obedience to the commandments of the Lord. I bless you with health and strength of body and mind; and with wisdom to enable you to fill the full purpose of your creation. I seal you up unto eternal life, to come forth in the resurrection of the Just, crowned and exalted with a celestial body, which shall be fit and prepared to dwell with God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ and associate with the faithful Saints of the Lord; which I do in the Name of His beloved Son Amen.
