Power to Heal the Sick

14% of blessings since 1950 included the promise of Power to Heal the Sick.

1834-12-09 At thy word the lame shall walk, the deaf shall hear and the blind shall see. 1844-07-01 Thou shalt have power to heal the sick in thy house by the prayer of faith, shall have skill in herbs, and shall be esteemed as being an excellent nurse among the sick and the destroyer shall not trouble thine house. 1845-02-19 Thou shalt have power to heal thy children in the absence of thy companion by the laying on of hands. 1845-10-24 Thou shall have power to heal the sick. 1846-01-14 Thou shalt be enabled through the Priesthood to bring up many of our dead friends. 1849-10-08 Thou shalt have faith to heal the sick in thy house and preserve thy children in life until they are old. 1852-02-09 I seal upon you all the blessings of the everlasting Priesthood which was sealed upon the children of Joseph in common with thy companion, giving you power to heal the sick in thine house and to drive the destroyer from thy habitation to preserve the lives of thy children. 1853-01-14 You shall be able to heal the sick in your family. 1853-06-04 You shall be able to heal the sick by the prayer of faith and shall have power over the destroyer. 1854-04-13 You are a daughter of Abraham and lawfully entitled to the everlasting priesthood which shall be conferred upon you in due time, making you acquainted with the power of working miracles of healing the sick and even raising the dead, if it be necessary. 1854-07-02 Thou art entitled unto the holy priesthood in connection with thy companion. But, I pray thee my Heavenly Father that no sickness that shall come within thy house, or any disease that comes along, shall have power to injure thy children. 1889-03-07 I bless you that you may have power to comfort the afflicted in Israel and to cheer the drooping spirit, and heal the sick of thine own household. 1890-01-15 Thou shalt be blessed to heal the sick, comfort them that mourn, to inspire them with faith and perform a long and youthful mission in the land and the building of Zion. 1895-04-17 Thou shalt have the gift of healing. 1896-01-16 In the absence of your companion you shall have power, through faith, to administer to the sick of your household in the ordinances of anointing with oil, and the laying on of hands, and in the name of Jesus Christ drive the destroyer from your habitation, and your children shall grow up in health. 1898-04-08 You shall have power to rebuke diseases and the influence of evil spirits from your habitation and from your offspring. 1898-12-30 I bless thee with the gift of faith, wisdom, revelation and the spirit of discernment. You shall have the power of healing and you shall see the power of God manifested in blessing the people over whom you shall preside. 1978-07-05 This is a special gift which comes to you through the Holy Ghost, that the powers of the priesthood might be manifest through you, that they upon whom you lay your hands in this holy ordinance might be raised from their beds of affliction, even that they might be raised from death to a continuation of life. 1980-03-23 I give unto you a promise that if you live for it, you will have the gift of healing. 1983-06-26 I bless you dear brother that you will have the inspiration and the power of the priesthood to administer in its callings and duties to the extent that those upon whom you give blessings of health and strength you will received the feelings of the holy ghost functioning in your behalf. 1984-12-01 I bless you with the gift of administration, that you will raise the sick. 1989-05-14 I bless you with the Gift to Heal. 1991-01-15 When blessing the sick the Lord will bless you with the healing power of the priesthood and it will be a great comfort to many. 1992-02-15 You shall also be blessed in magnifying the powers of the priesthood wherein your faith shall be exercised in the healing of the sick. 1993-06-20 You shall have the faith, when you shall have received the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood, to lay your hands upon the sick and they shall recover. 1995-08-18 There will be power in your hands to heal the sick. 1997-07-13 You will be blessed as a healer. 1997-09-01 One of your missions in life is to help care for others, those in need, those in your own greater family. You are to learn to be a healer of body and spirit, to be able to help others in their illnesses and in times of need and oppression. You are to become a nurse to the world, to the people of the Church, to the people that you know. 2001-03-11 There will be many opportunities for you to assist those who have broken bodies. 2001-06-12 You will witness the power and authority of the Lord through the Priesthood as He directs His missionaries in pronouncing blessings and healing the sick. 2002-04-28 You will be blessed with the power and authority to lay your hands upon the sick and afflicted. They will be comforted and healed and blessed because of your role in their lives. 2003-01-26 You will observe miracles occur wherein the sick and afflicted are healed. 2003-07-18 I bless you that you will have the gift of compassion and healing, of being your brother's keeper, to help the wounded and the weary, to give them strength though counsel and guidance. 2005-11-06 You are gifted to use your Priesthood to heal the sick and afflicted. 2005-11-13 You will have the opportunity to perform Priesthood ordinances of comfort and healing. 2006-09-17 Use the Holy Priesthood to lay your hands upon the sick, weary, afflicted, and those who are seeking a blessing from their Heavenly Father. 2008-04-20 Ss you are called to serve others, using the Melchizedek Priesthood, you have the gift to heal them, through your faith and through their faith. 2010-06-10 Utilize the priesthood to serve by blessing and healing wherever it is needed. 2011-03-20 You will heal the sick, bind up wounds, mend broken hearts and counsel for the Lord. 2012-11-18 You have the gift to heal, and to be healed. By the power of the priesthood and the exceeding faith that you possess, you will lay hands upon people and raise them from their beds of affliction. 2017-09-24 You will be given the gift of healing and the gift of blessing. Blessing #20 You and he will be a great benefit to those with physical challenged, both in supporting them and in finding ways to heal them. Blessing #49 You shall have the power to heal the sick. Through your administration the Lord will bless the sick and the afflicted and you will see them rise from their beds of affliction. Blessing #80 You shall have the power to heal the sick. You shall have healing in your words through the priesthood.
